P.S. I just have to celebrate a little. I lowered my nic from the 36/24 range to 18 this time around and I haven't had any negative side effects. I'm pretty darn happy I was able to do that. I was a 2 - 2 1/2 PAD smoker on February 13th of this year.
:toast::banana::rickroll::thumbs::banana::rickroll::toast:

FANTASTIC PROGRESS!!! Keep up the great work!! Cheers!! :toast:

So more on how theses are steeping. the Lemon Drop, Ecto Cooler, Cinnamon Red Hot and Mt. Dew still haven't mixed entirely, but the clove, solarflare, ginger ale, root beer, hawksauce and extreme ice look nice and...whats the right word? Clear? Pure? Mixed?

The Red Hot and the Clove are 4/26/13 and the rest are 4/30/13 so it's only been about 8 or 11 days. I'm out of juice right now so I'll probably pick one to start on and stash the rest away for some more time, lol.

EDIT: So, I picked Ginger Ale. Max VG, 0 Flavor Shots, 0 Nic. Uhh..there is no flavor, no taste. Almost none at ALL. Every now and then I get a HINT of ginger ale, just a tad. The overall vape experince is... different though. Up until this point I was vaping "Killa Vanilla" by High Calibur, also VG, also 0 nic. This is like...I don't even know how to explain it. It feels completely different. Almost bubbly. If it wasn't for the odd experience I would say I dislike it entirely, but for now I'm kinda confused about my feelings on it, lol.

Curious to hear how you like the CLOVE when you eventually try it. My brand of choice was Djarum Blacks when I was smoking analogs. Still weaning myself off them though I'm down to only about 1 a day, sometimes less, from the 5+ (cigs, not packs) I was at before. Anyway, I'd love to try a nice clove juice that'll remind me of my beloved Djarums. (And yes, I was purchasing from overseas so as to get the authentic ones once they enacted the ban on "flavored cigarettes" in the US in 2009, and Djarum could only sell clove cigars here from that point on.)

PS I'm still catching up on yesterday's posts so I apologize if you've since answered this. I figured I'd forget to ask if I waited until I made it through the rest of this thread first. LOL

So, I'm curious. Does everyone post their reviews at MBV?

This may have already been mentioned somewhere, but that would be AWESOME, and if everyone included the other info, the number of steep time, extra flavor shots, what mix/blend & nic level ordered, (insert anything I may have forgotten), etc.

I'm just on my first bottle, of AWESOME HEAVENLY GOODNESS aka: Cinnamon Roll ..:hubba:..my others are steeping....so right now, I can only go review the one I'm currently using.

When I was placing my first order, I did check out the reviews there, they could always use more reviews I'm sure, and that would be another source for us all to reference....just a thought, I have many.......:w00t::w00t:

Well, I dripped my Clove (Max VG, 2 flavor shots) when I first got it, and it didn't have much of a taste at all, and smelled a little soapy. Currently it smells fantastic (spot on Djarum Blacks) and I can't wait to give it a try. TBH, I was also a big clove smoker, in fact, in a 4-day vacation I once smoked 3 cartons of Djarum Blacks (back before they changed them to cigars or whatever they did to get around putting that crap in them that makes them extinguish themselves). I am hoping I love it, and if I don't I'll try diffrent PG/VG and flavor shots till I do, because it's the one I am most excited about. When I get it perfect, I plan on ordering at 236ml bottle of it.

I will eventually but I want to make sure I have given the flavors all the change they deserve to steep and what not before I do a "final" verdict for the site.

Speaking of...so I've about given up on the ginger ale at this point. Besides the utter lack of flavor and smell (well, my wife and mother-in-law says they smell a faint cotton candy smell), it also is turning so pretty ugly colors (its perfectly clear to start) in my tank. At first I thought I had burned it, so I cleaned it all out, put a new atomizer in (2.8ohms) and vaped 1/2 a vivi mini tank at 3.8 volts, nice and simple to make sure it doesn't burn. When I checked the remaining 1/2 of tank, it was like...thick, brown almost black goo. Not sure what the deal with THAT is.

I agree 100%.

Most of the ones I've used myself I have done a review on after two weeks. There are a couple I have not reviewed yet because my taste buds still flux some and the taste can be random on them. To be honest I don't think a review from me on them would be fair unless I tried them at at 65 pg rather than 80 since I seem to have a mild reaction too it and it really alters the flavor on anything fruity to me.

I can't tell if my sense of taste has returned or not. Food still tastes the same but I can pick out flavors in the eliquids better, but most are still way to mild for my liking.

In fact, I'm thinking about moving many of my juices from hopeless steeping to the coffee can of oblivion, never to be seen again until a disaster strikes. In fact I still have not noticed any difference in a day one juice versus a day 14 juice, that I didn't like to start with or that I could taste to start with. This goes for all the companies that I have ordered from.

My MBV juices that don't have enough of a taste for me are Lightning (1 shot), Hawk Sauce (4 shots), Sour Yum (3 shots), and Tangerine (3 shots). Don't get me wrong, they all taste good, but the taste just isn't there. There is no way I can give an honest review of those juices.

The only ones that I have reviewed has been Cin. Roll, and without question it got five stars from me. And I also reviewed Candy Cane, as my wife has hated any juice she has tried from anyone. With the exception of this one. So I had to give MBV props and a review for that juice.

The only negative review I may give is for the Macadamia Nut. It was mentioned that I should wait for three weeks to let that one sit and meld. (one more week to go). I know Mac. Nut can be done right, because High Desert Vapes has a true to life Macadamia Nut flavor. That one was dead-on perfect. To be fair, HDV's version was 50/50 and I got MBV's at 80/20, but I can't continue to do apples to apples taste testing with every flavor I try. I would be broke outside of a month if I did that.

Sorry I'm ranting on your quote SB, but I'm also trying to vape a tank of Lightning right now, and it just isn't doing anything for me at this moment. It's like a bad medicine that had been fixed up so a kid would take it for mommy and daddy :(

I'm sure the MBV is great but that time it was from another supplier.
My next MBV order might include some MBV BW if your review is BW love.

Okay confession, I didn't get my Belgian Waffle from MBV either but Oh My Goodness it is good!!! Gotta get some more of that:toast:
    Naturally I ordered a sample :(

Mine have started to finally come back around...and now, I can't eat really spicy salsa anymore...

Have you tried mixing any of them? My all day vape for the last 5 months (prior to finding MBV ) were from a different vendor, and were a mix of 4 that I didn't care for as stand alone flavors. I just mixed equal parts of each. Caramel Apple, Vanilla, Amaretto, and Double Dutch Choc. I know it sounds like a crazy combo, but for me, much to my surprise, it was good mixture, but each alone, never steeped to any sort of goodness at all. (ever) So, I'd laugh at myself each time I'd reorder 4 bottles of juice I didn't like....

I think the best way to tell if its still is not mature vs you just don't like it is if you there is a "perfume" taste. Until that is all gone I know that it just is not ready for prime time. Boom choco-latte is a perfect example of strong perfume/alcohol before it was mature. Day one it is bad, bad, bad. And I found that any that did need steeping had that same yecky flavor note to some extent. Pretty sure that is due to the extracts/flavorings needing to lose the base that they are created with. I think it is very possible that for some of us that flavor comes through stronger than with other people.

Another thing to consider is lowering the pg in your e-liquids. I know its a "flavorless" additive but dang if I can't taste it to an overwhelming extent on many juices at 80/20. Not only does it change the initial flavor for me but it leaves a rather acid/sour taste in my mouth after. If I persist with that a flavor like that to long then I start to taste something akin to glue. I feel like I simply can't taste the flavor for the pg. Which I know is illogical since that is considered better for flavor.

I think going forward I'll stick to a 65/35 mix at most because of the pg sensitivity. Am also pretty sure that not all of my taste buds are back on line so I suspect I'll keep needing extra shots and/or an even lower pg on the fruity stuff because I'm still not picking it up as well as flavors like coffee and cinnamon.

Absolutely, the same for me! I was having a sensitivity to what I thought was PG, but now I really think it is just something in the Amaretto flavoring, but even that sensitivity was muted when I switched to VG version.

I've tried to revisit some of the PG ones, minus the Amaretto (which I DEARLY loved that flavor), and now, I think part of the yuck WAS just the flavor of the PG, or the way the PG carries the flavoring.

All of the 7 flavors that I ordered from MBV were Max VG. Six are steeping, and Cin. Roll, is just creamy wonderful. No issues with it being too thick for my cartos, or my Kanger Pro Tank. :)

Hmmmm... I get 20/80 PG/VG and my Protank hates it. The first vape is good and then it's down hill from there as the taste completely vanishes.

    ugh...BUSTED....SORRY.

I was just thinking to myself as I was drawing off my protank....you know SELF, you really...REALLY...might want to just mention that it tasted like CRAP...yes, after the first vape...not the MBV...(I have that in my cartos, now)...when I tried the MBV in the protank, we'd already modified it...of my non-MBV flavors they all tasted like really nothing in the pro tank UNTIL after the top wick was removed....but I don't want to derail :danger:this onto the pro tank love/hate discussion.....cuz I've most certainly had THAT love/hate relationship over the course of the last two weeks, and (today...LOL) I love it.

I just think they're quirky, they leak sometimes, just a few drops or so from the stem, then they don't, but removing that top wick made a HUGE difference, flavor is preserved....but, I'm using heavy VG. I've also found it works THE BEST to keep it *full to half full*...no less...YMMV.

:tumble:Back on topic, I need a recommendation for MBV Vanilla. I had intended to order it with my first order, and somehow overlooked it.
    Any advice???

I'm 80/20 pg/vg and I still had to remove the top wick from my protank. Once I did that, everything was top notch. I have put a few things throug it, ecto cooler was something I was really looking forward to, but it was week at best. That's with 3 extra shots in it. I don't get that. But the cinnamon roll is something I'm stuck on. I have a ton of it and I'm nowhere near tired of it. So, maybe when I'm done I will drag myself away from it and try some new juice. Might even do another YouTube vid. Lol I got mt $10 credit from mbv!!!

Well, I've just tried the Caramel Apple and it is getting added to my stupifyingly good list. This stuff is delicious!

Now I have two juices I cannot live without : Cinnamon Roll & Caramel Apple. Of course, I also have to have my Spearmint, Ruby Red Grapefruit and Virginia Fire Cured Tobacco.

And... blackberry, pear, hawk sauce... etc. etc.

SO after a 3rd tank of BLEH from the ginger ale, I have given up. Going to have to give it a 1/5. Maybe with some flavor shots or mixed with something it could shine...but the disgusting left in the tank after only vaping 1/2 of it is disturbing.

Broke out the Solar Flare, and DEAR GOD the flavor. It is terrific. I would prefer it if the menthol was toned down a bit and orange shined through more but thats just personal preference, the FLAVORS are there and spot on yummy. So far, The experience enters my mouth as MENTHOL(orange tic tac) and leaves as Menthol-Orange Tic Tac. Not unpleasant at all.
