Goooood morning - vaping caramel coffee. I like it better
now after a couple of mornings vaping it.
We got a skiff of snow last night, nothing like they've gotten
north of us.
If you recall our son was out of school for 8 days straight (not
counting weekends) due to a snowstorm earlier last month.
Then they went back to school for 4 days then on to Christmas
break for 10 days off, well he's scheduled to go back to school
next Monday but now they're predicting accumulating snow
Sunday? Arrrgh. It only takes a couple of inches of snow to
close schools here as snow melts a little, refreezes and turns to
ice, and they simply don't have the means to keep the county
roads in good enough shape for buses. Lots of hills and windy
roads and low water crossings.
Hubby is staying home today - a plus side to that is he will
fix dinner tonite, yay.

in other news, i got my 3000th visitor to my profile page. why that many ppl would want to go there i have no friggin clue. it's pretty boring.

That's just it. They don't have to make them up anymore.
Without getting into the public school system issues and political ties, etc.
let's just say a couple of years ago they adapted a new school calendar system
and they do not make up snow days anymore.

Same here... in fact I'm not sure if they ever have cancelled school. -40, nope. 2' on the ground 3' more over night, nope. Calling in sick for a ski day is a completely different topic though.
