FYI check the Co-Op plannin' thread, dna board(s) interest thread, me want as well :)

I have been there :) I seriously need to stop spending till February though... I wasn't the only one that I promise I would limit vape expenditures to what I spent on Tobacco....

Although she did say she did not care what I spent on it as long as I stopped smoking..... That was the intial EGO kit expenditure though...

In other news... I have found some blocks of titanium and some nifty titanium torx screws in preparation for my trip to the machine shop \o/

I would rather use Unobtanium (A first for Mods!) but the only place I have found that is the Playstation 3 on some planet with Ratchet and Clank. :(

A place some call paradise
Is everyone ok? I just got up and only had three pages to catch up on. My coffee didn't even finish brewing before I was done.
I might have to look into these Davide things for the wife's set up. She's a protank loyalist, myself I'm a carto tank guy. What makes a Davide Better than a protank?

Cool, I understand, I'm so far upside down $ wise at this point I would have to limit myself just to juice probably this entire year (small exaggeration) to catch back up ;)

I have not yet built a mod with a board so it'll be a learning process, I have built a dozen(ish) mechanicals over the past 6 months. Just wanted to make sure you saw the thread :)

If you have protank 1 or 2 then all you need to make it take aspire bdc heads is this.

Just make sure you don't lose the little white plastic piece that comes with the adapter. Obviously you will also need some of these.

I spent way too much on Tobacco. I always bought pack or two at a time, a can or two at a time, then the cigars here and there. I was always "gonna quit soon" so I did not want to by cartons of cigs or rolls of cope. Yep, I am that kind of stupid. Although it did leave me with a nice vape budget :)

Good day, all. Just saw that EVCigarettes is having a sale on drip tips, and they have quite a selection. I linked to the 510 stuff, but all their drip tips seem to be discounted. You can also use the coupon code ny14 for an additional 15% off the sale price through tomorrow. Not sure if I'm gonna pick any up, I have far too many as it is, and a bunch coming from China in the next week. Of all the vape gear I have too much of, drip tips are definitely it.

Vaping some of my DIY 'Purple Mountain' and cleaning up the mess I made filling my AGR+ last night. That carto tank is amazing when it works, but a pain in the ... to fill correctly sometimes. Those IPA's probably didn't help much. :p

Well, I had a choice of whether to pack and pitch for the move next weekend or try out these new flavors I got from MBV. Easy choice! but now I'm too dizzy to pack :)

Anyway, I have a couple of questions.

I got some Blue Moo that's bout 2 wks old; I taste the blueberry for the first couple of hits then it turns "chemically" on me. Will that go away with more steeping?

Hawk Sauce - I don't really like menthol but this isn't bad...just a touch, more like mint... but not tasting any fruit. Hopefully that will improve with more fruit and not as much mint.

The rest of the stuff, even the 555, is coming into its own nicely ... Caramel Apple, Caramel Candy, Cinnamon Roll, Dulce De Leche, Eggnog (tastes like a weak Vanilla custard), Irish Cream, Jamaican Rum, Mudslide, Orange Dream Bar, Sticky Bun, Vanilla Butternut, Vanilla Custard just to name a few that I like. A few others just don't tickle my palette but they're not bad. I'll save them for vapor's tongue.

I placed an order for more flavors today using a Visa and it went through just fine so hopefully those other incidents were just a glitch ... or maybe it was a test. I hope not.

Now, I've gotta leave until y"all quit yappin' about ProTanks and Davides such nonsense cuz I can feel my resistance waning. :p

Think the last time I did the math on the annual cigarette cost for my better half and I it exceeded the cost of a balcony room on a 7-day Alaskan Cruise, really hit home then when I wasn't just lookin' at it as a daily expense. Anyway my vape budget is for two so it does add up really quick ;)

I got some before and it seemed to hold onto that taste for a while. It was 50/50 6mg. This last bottle I got was max VG and I haven't noticed the same chemical taste at all. I want to say it has something to do with the flavoring and the PG working together to create that taste. Not sure. You may want to let it age a bit more.

At a guess, it may be because the juice itself is a little more insulated from the coil by the carto/filling. I switched to wrapping 3.0 coils a while ago to avoid burning my sweet juices - that works too. I still have no idea how people are wrapping 1 ohm and sub ohm coils and not burning the crap out of their juice... must not be vaping the kinds of juices I like to vape!

I agree with this. In general I have fewer problems with 3mm diameter coils, from build to vape it is a better experience.

I do not get the whole sub ohm thing either. I played around with it for a bit, they get hot fast, they make a lot of vapor and flavor, you need to drill your top caps to have more air to cool the coil down. I can get a FANTASTIC vape with tons of flavor and vapor building anywhere from 1.1 ohm to 2.5 ohm.

Anyways, that is MY happy spot, carry on :)

I did not like my subohm experiment much, either. I think you and I are in the same boat. I prefer a single micro coil at about 1.2 on a bed of cotton gauze. It's absolutely perfect for me, and seems to be easier on my batteries as well. I can get a nice, long coil with 28g kanthal, delivers plenty of vapor and flavor even with the stock hole on the Igo L.

Man, looking at those IBTanked tanks .... again .... really want to spring for one. Love the ease of a carto tank, and this AGR+ is just too fiddly for my liking.
