I was a little surprised when I got my itaste VTR yesterday that the 510 connection ring didn't spin like it did in all the videos I watched on it. At first I though maybe thrre was something wrong, but I google'd around and apparently there is an updated version of the VTR in which the ring doesn't spin anymore. Supposedly that reduces the amount of wobble/rattle of the attached device.

I'm a little nervous. The last time I tried a new supplier, I ordered 10 bottles from Gourmet Vapor. Every one was cloying, perfumy garbage. Unvapeable. To their credit, they took the liquid back and gave me a refund.
So naturally I learned nothing. :p Please no GV II.

John, as long as you have patience for steeping time, you've got some good flavors. My mother is a butter pecan freak, I let hers steep for a few weeks and it was good last time. But she likes it right out of the mail.
Peanut butter is good to go, but improves with time. As does udderly nuts (if you like the PB, you'll love udderly nuts).
Butterscotch is super right out if the mail, but the flavor gets stronger as time goes by, so steeping couldn't hurt.

Curt.

Hmmmm .... mine spins, but is very tight (I never found the need to use it) and my tanks don't rattle/wobble. How do you like the VTR ? I absolutely LOVE mine.

What the actual issue was with the wheel spinning people were having issues with it throwing off the coil ohm reading, they were stating that it was always changing and way off. I have not had an issue with that at all.

That's one feature I could have done without, believe its just askin' for connectivity issues over time...

So far I like it. I was quite disappointed that my carto tank didn't fit, I really thought it would. Can't be more than 1mm off. I liked the form factor a whole lot better with the iClear 30s that came with it, so I really need a 19mm carto tank now. I did try the iClear 30s that it came with, but like the original iClear, I was unimpressed. Great vapor and throat hit, but the juice flavor is just off to me.

I can see where that might wreak havoc on the VW side of things :)

I tried Gourmet Vapor some time back. I also found it unvapable.

I'm sure you are right on that, could be an issue. I really don't plan on using any RBA's with it, but I can see the value of facing it where you need it with the spinning ring.
