Leave them on whatever jig you're coiling them on (screwdriver, toothpick, whatever) until they're in position and tightened down... *then* pull the jig out and wick it. :)

what do you wrap your coils on and do you keep it in while you connect the coil to the posts? the legs can be a pain sometimes

i make them on an allen wrench.
i do just that sean. it doesn't' seem to make a dif. soon as i remove it they'll sometimes do the U thing.

http://www.change.org/petitions/paypal-allow-processing-of-purchases-for-e-cig-related-products

Any one want to sign a http://change.org petition asking Paypal to stop denying payment to ecig-related comanies from it's users?

I went ahead and signed it, but I highly doubt that PayPal will make any changes for this. eBay and PayPal never cared what their policies were in dealing with their customers or sellers that used their site to open stores, they made so many changes, increased fee's, disallowed seller from leaving negative feedback for bad buyers and much more. They lost some big US based sellers, some doing 1/2 million bucks a year on there, which promptly left. It was planned by them to get rid of all the little stores, mom and pop shops etc. The started holding fee's which they really are not supposed to do over a 14 day period as they are listed only as a payment processor and not a bank. Ahhh, I'm not saying anymore, not feeling well and this just really hits a raw nerve about them.

Hm. What gauge are you using? It sounds like either a thicker gauge might help, or like you've got too much/not enough tension on the wire... but that's just a guess.

You can wrap them really tight when they're on the allen key (and you should, they work better that way, especially with 28g) but when you go to put it on your Reo, make sure there's the right amount of tension on the coil as you connect it to the posts - it sounds like that's why sometimes it's bowing and sometimes not.

If you can't torch it while it's on the jig, you could always pre-torch it before you wrap the coil (just use a pair of needlenose pliers)... that'll take some of the springiness out of it for you and make it more likely to stay where you put it.

yah i do heat up the wire before even wrapping it. it bows (the word i had been looking for LOL) because the posts are further out than the width of the coil. which makes sense. I'm just bad at adjusting it i think. like i said, coils made by little kids look better :p they work and work well though!

LOL you guys are so mean to little me!
I carried my reo's to my station to fix 'em up, aka my kitchen. I dropped one and the drip tip broke in the rba. But it wasn't my nice piggie drip tip! I KNOW some of you know what on earth im talking about!
One reo needed a new coil, so i redid it. I decided to recoil another. but i'm bad at making coils, so i had 3 failed attempts.

I drop my Personal Electronic Nicotine Inhalation System every once in a while, breaks the tip off almost every time :(

Ahhhh. Yeah, that's just a matter of learning the quirks of your particular atty. I sympathize, cause I still don't get along well with my Phoenix... I know I can wrap a coil, and I can recoil my tanks just fine, but that thing does me in every time. I could keep fighting with it but in my case it's going to be better to upgrade to a different (better) RBA... but I only paid $10 for the Phoenix, so that's much different to a Reo!
