I gave up drinking, not for any real reason, I just walked into a store one day to buy a 12 pack and thought jeez I am ******* that much away every 3 or 4 days. Walked out without buying. I spend too much on computer hardware and gaming anyways :p

Edit: Now why could I not do that with tobacco?

I didn't see it with smokin' till I added it up as the annual cost (for both of us) basically it was the cost of the Alaskan cruise (balcony room) that my wife's been wanting for years. Obviously haven't saved anywhere near that

I always viewed the cost of smoking as a living expense, and then along came vaping. If I spend more on vaping than smoking--so be it. At least I will live longer.

I'm off to bed. Goodnight everyone.

I lived with the cost of smoking but purposely never added it all up. I smoked heavily, dipped Copenhagen constantly and had a nice cigar every night, not some luxury cigar, more along the lines of Macanudo. When I finally saw that I could vape instead of smoke (that was 2 years in the making) I did my vape budget off what I spent on tobacco. I have busted that vape budget every dang month..... :) Fun though!

I think I finally talked my wife into taking a cruise :) I been working on it for a few years. Now she says we need to interview dog boarders. We cannot leave the Moose with just anybody.

Unfortunately I'm sittin' on a bunch of higher end cigars that I can't enjoy anymore since I quit smokin'. I can get thru roughly a third then it just becomes too much, kind of a waste...

I have somewhere around a dozen or so Macanudos. I have about that many handcrafts from Bobalu's on 6th street here. Kinda neat, you get to watch them roll and press them :) but yeah kind of a waste. I do not even try to light one up. I do get one out here and there to smell...

I am wanting to do the Alaska cruise as well. Wife wants to do a short cruise first half of this year and maybe a longer one in November or December. My wife hates malls, hates shopping, hates crowds... Should be able to find some quiet spots though.

Morning all. Went to bed at a normal hour last night (so *that* won't last!), and only skimmed the last few pages, but Sam got my attention with the Beatles... always a guaranteed way to get my day off to a good start.

I've got a bookcase being delivered today that I have to figure out how to fit into the house (one of those "hey, we're going to throw away this book case, do you want it?" situations). I know it'll fit somehow, but there will probably be some shuffling of existing bookcases before we can find a chunk of wall space big enough to squeeze it into. So, about to take my TARDIS and my tape measure and do some of that *math* stuff.

Vaping some Dark Chocolate mixed with things I can't remember. I missed having something chocolate in the rotation enough to go ahead and wrap a coil.
