I am sitting here chain vaping and trying to find the combo I like best.

R91 with Hawk Sauce - last fill, so sad
KFL+Clone with light speed - So good.
R91 with Ecto Cooler - So good.

I do not think I will be able to make my mind up but the rotation is a hit!

i think there is a smiley for that!

Replying without reading to the end of the thread because I can't keep up. I have a tendency to agree with this. I think the major concern right now is regulations on a state to state basis. NJ, where I am, has banned the usage of "e-cigs" in all public places, as have many states. I understand that Ca. has banned smoking in your own home in some cities, if you share a wall with another home owner. I see that happening with e-cigs too. I have a major stockpile of premade juices as well as flavors and DIY supplies. I've gone from 12mg. to 6mg., which is where I've been for at least a few months. I plan on stepping it down to 0mg. soon, while keeping my nic liquid on hand in the freezer for those times I'm feeling an unusually high stress time or craving for a real cig. I enjoy vaping for the hand to mouth part of it and for the flavors. I think nicotine is becoming less and less of a need for me. I have no worries in getting PG and VG down the road, but I do wonder about the difference between food grade flavors and vape safe flavors. Are there food grade flavorings that are safe for ingestion but not inhalation? I don't know, but I do agree that this is something that is going to take time. In the meantime, I'm stockpiling, keeping in mind that eliquids have about a one year shelf life. I'm good for about 6 months with what I have, but will keep ordering, because my taste changes and I'm hopelessly addicted to trying new flavors as well as devices. Bottom line is, we're going to find out at some point. I love to vape, but if push comes to shove, there is no way I ever want to be a smoker again. If I have to, I will cold turkey it if and when that day comes.

WELCOME to the new folks.....I see we're getting a good group of Canadians in here, eh? :D

To everyone else. Hope all is well with you. I'm reading, if not responding much right now. I'm seeing my surgeon tomorrow and will get the news on the shoulder. I will keep you posted. Hugzzz!!!

Honestly I think it's just the vaping community overreacting at the moment. The FDA doesn't tax anything, that's all in the hands of congress. The FDA also doesn't impose a ban unless there are known negatives, which are going to require many more years of studies (which the FDA also does not do). They could take a few steps toward that & perhaps change the game a bit, but I highly doubt anything drastic is coming about any time soon. I'm prepared for if/when whatever comes & I would recommend everyone else the same, but I don't think it's anywhere close to a looming threat like a lot of the chatter on ECF leads people to believe.

When I was a fairly new vaper I got pulled over for a lane violation. When he was done giving me a warning I showed him my spinner with a vivi nova on it and asked him if he had ever seen one. He said "no" and I told him what it was. I asked him what he would do if he saw me driving down the street puffing on it. He said he would pull me over because it looks like something used for illegal substances. He advised I should carry receipts of my device and liquid in the car at all times incase I got pulled over. Up until then I had been freely and happily vaping away in the car with no regard to whomever was next to or behind me. Now I feel like I have to hide it. There is probably always going to be guilt by association with either aforementioned substance, or with smoking in general. I find that really upsetting but whatcha gonna do?!!

Agreed...I'm frankly happily surprised that I haven't seen them compared in the media...

Hi Roonies, first I want to wish you good luck in regards to your shoulder and you will be in my thoughts as I am sure you will be in everyone else thoughts as well in this thread!

As to the FDA, it is better to air on the side of caution as they have already proven that there concerns are not following a logical path and perhaps it may be that the vaping community is overreacting but that is better then being complacent and thinking they have our best interest at heart as they have already proven it's not about what is best for us, it's what is best for the and those in which they derive other considerations. There are only a few places as in States that are actually at this point looking at e-cigarettes on a State Wide basis, most of what is occurring at this time is by a County by County basis, this is even more disturbing as it causes more guessing and confusion and you just do not know when the next county is going to bring the issue up and to what extent. This is happening due to the fact that there are no State Wide or Federal Wide regulation concerning this issue, it leaves the issue up to interpretation to the Board of Commissioners and this is a bit of a scary consideration as a number of these commissions have no clue as to what the facts are and really don't care what those are at this point. For example in my area where on December 6th 2013 the Marion County Board of Commissioners passed the ordinance that prohibits the use of e-cigarettes anywhere that Cigarette Smoking is prohibited, the big argument/example that the Commissioner that brought this up for a hearing used a correlation of him using Nicotine to kill mole crickets when he was in college and worked on golf course, this is really not an acceptable reason and regardless of the information that was sent to each and everyone of the Commissioners on the board they passed it without any opposition, the sad fact is that not a single individual showed up for the Public Hearing and they never bothered to take information that was sent to them by e-mail and by mail for consideration on this matter. So those that think that the vaping community are over reacting, well again this may be true to an extent, but to think that this matter is going to be accepted without the vaping community action on the very real chance that more and more of these ordinances are going to be put in place without support is a bit fool hearty and would be a big mistake.

And I am going to hush now!

Thanks for the good luck wishes Dusty. Pretty much just a matter of how extensive of a surgery and when. There's no such thing as a single shoulder surgery.....remember that if you're ever dealing with a blown shoulder. This will be my 5th....oh lucky me.....not just for that, but for living in one of the states where it is a state wide regulation. Jersey is tough on lots of stuff. Just how we roll I guess. When I'm in KC I vape in every restaurant/bar I've been in....discreetly, of course. I ask and it's never been an issue. I need to make a trip back home before this surgery if I can. Haven't even met my new little granddaughter and she's 6 weeks old!! That's just wrong! Hope you're doing well Dusty....good to see you a little more active here. :)

Hello fellow Bakerites I know I haven't posted in awhile. You probably won't see me on ECF a whole lot I've gotten pretty busy lately between looking for an apartment, getting ready to move, school, and a new MMORPG that I've gotten into. I did just place an order with MBV for Butterscotch, Hawk Sauce, and Fruity Gummy Juice, all in 50ml 6mg +1 flavor shot. Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still vaping, and doing well.

PS- I just realized that on the 27th basically in 12 days will be my 6 month vapiversary.

w/o any commas, it looks like Dec 27th was 12 days from your 12 month mark. that would make Jan 12th your vapiversary!

just playing. thanks for dropping by, Den!
