i did my fair share of MBV bashing(before joining ECF), but i soon realized that it was mainly to do with the fact that i knew nothing about steeping. got some coconut,RY4 and graham cracker, and it was something horrible when it arrived. however, i squirreled them away in my closet for over a month, and finally got around to trying them again, and the coconut vapes nice and creamy while the grahm cracker actually tastes like its namesake. still not a fan of the RY4 mainly because i was guageing it against a stellar Apollo Ecigs RY4 which is fandamnedtastic, but ive placed some more orders with them, and given proper time, the flavors were spot on. got some dutch apple pie, afternoon delight and some razzle 3xshot and wow... like someone slingshotting berries at ya. really good stuff.

I finally placed my first MBV order Thursday, so needless to say I am anxiously awaiting for Monday to get here.

Here is a list of what I'm waiting for, and I was wondering if someone would give me an average steep time for each flavor as I have zero experience with this so far. :)

Butterscotch
Caramel candy
Honey
Orange dream bar
Monster
Root beer float
Moo juice
Hazelnut coffee
Banana cream pie
Then 4 build your own flavors...
My versions of
Strawberry banana shake
Cherry limeade
Butter nipple
Peanut butter fudge brownie

So, please what's your recommended steep times for a beginner? Also, are any of them decent right away? I am anxious to start vaping & would hate to have to wait days/weeks before I can start!

Thanks for any help!

Hi and welcome! Your order sounds yummy. :p

I can only speak for the Butterscotch, and that's to say it's pretty much vape-able right from the mail, but only gets better and more pronounced with a week or two of steeping. If you got 2 or more flavor shots for it, it may require a little bit of extra steep time, even at the front end, to achieve full flavor.

PS whoops! looks like others beat me to the punch. I should've refreshed before replying, but hey this way at least I got to say HI and Welcome!

I just got my order yesterday. I've steeped them overnight but I guess they need more? Some of the flavor isn't strong enough and I'm not getting good vape yet. I ordered 80/20. Is that the problem? I'm still trying to figure all of this out.

Most flavors will need a week or two to steep before they are ripe. 80/20 should be fine.

So PINEAPPLE UPSIDEDOWN CAKE....

I know several of you out here are fans of this flavor, but for me, the Pineapple never really blossomed and it doesn't taste like I expect it should. I'm getting more of a (grrr I can't find the right words to describe it) flavor instead. There might be a little bit of cake there, but it's definitely not strong enough. I almost want to say it's an artificial fruit flavor which tastes sorta like pineapple but could be so many other things... if that makes any sense.

This is a 65/35 mix with 6mg nic and +1 flavor shot and a mix date of May 2, 2013. I've done the steeping process with it (caps off, lots of shaking) and even decided to throw it in my ultrasonic for a good 40 minutes last night to see if that'd help it along but it didn't seem to make a difference. Maybe this be a case where the extra flavor shot actually detracted from, rather than enhanced, the original flavor?

I've vaped it primarily out of cartos attached to my SI Volt cig-a-like, mostly because it never earned a place in one of my tanks, but I decided to try it in my Kanger Protank this morning anyway, after last night's bath in the ultrasonic, and though I have tried adjusting the voltage on my Sigelei mod, I'm still not getting any Pineapple Upsidedown Cake flavor from it no matter what I vape it at. :\ Any suggestions from fans of this flavor?
