Lol, how am I trolling? I came here to ask questions... like 200 pages ago or something. I had to scroll through a ton of crap I don't care about to find my answer so I started posting in the other thread. I just said I wasn't interested in chit chat, I don't care if you guys do it or enjoy it. What I don't get is why people are being all .... hurt that there's a second thread that has better answers for those of us who have other things to do than scroll through 20 pages of random chit chat. And not to mention, some people from this thread have gone to the other one to express their discontent that we had to make a second thread because we aren't interested in the meaningless chatter. I guess it's pretty offensive if people don't want to read a dozen pages of off topic stuff? I mean seriously... some of you guys are the ones who need to get a life if you're like "Lol the other thread is soo lonely and boring. We're such elitists because we like chit chat." What's wrong with people who just want a straight forward answer??

1- ask your question
2- wait for your answer
3- be friendly and respectful, or get lost

Anyone who can do a full refret job on their own has my undying respect. The amount of leveling, sanding and buffing would drive me insane. Many years ago before the earth cooled and the tendons in my wrists were at full power, I had an old SG that needed a refret. Buzzing all over the board. I sold the thing rather than pay the $250. Of course, selling any guitar is a huge mistake. Should have closeted it.

I've redone my crappy Strat copy, my SG and my Ibanez, but need to do more work on the SG, getting some dead spots on the higher frets 20th and 22nd on the high E and B strings, but as I haven't been feeling all that great it needs to wait until I have more focus.
