Does this really work like the Ultrasonic Cleaner? I know it might be tongue in cheek, but I wasn't sure how heat-steeping in water differed from heat steeping in a hot car.
Any opinion on if an hour in a hot car equals a week steep time like an hour in a UC?

LOL, I live in plano as well and they forgot my sample too...and my order was 50 something.
I pulled up chat and they gave me a 15ml bottle credit for next time.

I'm actually bummed tho, I wanted them to pick one for me!

Heat is only one part of the speed steep. Shaking/aeration also contributes...
I think we all need to take a step back and relax! Dryers, microwaves, cars, hot tubs, UC's . Then again I am thinking of making a bracket to hold the juice and bringing it to Lowes and having them put it in the paint shaker for a bit.
I almost bought one of these. It might be what you need :D
Am I the only one that tries to rush the juice when I have a chest of drawers plum full of juice that's already steeped. I have a problem I think..
Ummm, nope :)
Your new avi makes me laugh, but I'm not sure why.

Someone in the DIY forum said they put in the microwave. So I bet in the hot car will work. Just don't leave it too long cause it might get rancid

Sorry to cause a ruckus guys  I was at work earlier and didn't have a lot of time to post. I only leave the juice in the car for a few hours at a time depending on the temp, ALWAYS out of direct sunlight, and ONLY when I'm sure I can get to it every hour or so to check on the bottles and give it a good shake ;) I would never think of leaving it in that type of heat for a prolonged period, my juice is just too...(my PRECIOUS)...valuable to me...

My daughter drew it. I thought it was funny. :) she's a crazy 16 year old lol
She's a talented crazy 16 year old! She did a nice job with it, and I hope she's glad you chose it.

Another member way back also posted that s/he steeped some unvapable juice for a couple of months in the glove compartment and came back to it 2 months later to find that s/he really liked it. So, it seems the car steep can be a valid technique (one that I wouldn't have patience for, though :glare:).

OK, let me tell you what else I do... We have a UV, one of the old ones that you just turn on but can't find it as it's still packed away somewhere from the move here. Sooo....I noticed one day that while riding around from site to site over the gravel roads at work, the juices in my evods darkened some and tasted better at the end of the day :?: Being a science geek, I thought hmmm......So one day after the 100th time of not being able to find the Ultra Sonic, I took the juices to work with me, put them in the glove box of my work rig, and went out. :2cool: It gets hot here, and I hardly EVER use the AC in the vehicle at work because I've found that getting out of an AC vehicle, hiking around, digging holes, sweating, etc. then getting into and AC vehicle is not pleasant  So it stays warm in the vehicle, but not too hot with the windows down, and driving over miles of the gravel roads...the vehicle naturally...vibrates.. That's right, it's a Hobo Ultra sound technique by all means, but after a day or two of this I've found I have perfectly steeped juice...true story here...I have now bared my soul to y'all  I know it sounds silly, but it works. And for those of you who wonder what happens to the juice when I'm away from the vehicle...I put it in my backpack in the compartment that holds the chilled bottled water I take with me. That way, it doesn't set in a hot vehicle too long :)

Well, I know this sounds stupid... but I live in Southern MS. and this time of year the average daily temp is around 95 degrees.

95 degrees, pfft! It's been between 105 & 108 for almost a month. It's only supposed to be 100 degrees today...guess we had a cold front go through. But then again it's probably 90% humidity there too.

I put juice in my car and leave it for like 30 minutes and no the bottle doesn't quite start melting yet although they say a car will get to over 125 degrees with the windows closed.

I said AVERAGE temp. That's the temp you count on it being EVERYDAY. Most days are hotter, like today and easily reach triple digits...and when you factor in the high humidity from the gulf......
