oh duh. I totally forgot I had syringes with measurements in mL that I was planning on using for this. Thanks for reminding me.

I gave my boyfriend some Butter Pecan that had 4-5 shots in it, and I cut with VG so it was at 9mg nic and 40PG/60VG--so the flavoring should now be at 2-2.5 shots. I didn't tell him what it was though because I wanted to see how much the name defines the expectation/enjoyment.
Did he notice?

Did he notice?

he's about to have dinner and then try it on a drip tip first. I think it will mix nicely with his Adirondike juice he has from Backwoods Brew in his atomizer. He's kind of meh on that flavor but ordered some since they were out of casablanca. I think adding some butter pecan to a tobacco would be delicious, so I hope he thinks so too.

If he gets sick of butter pecan (or doesn't like it) I can either try mixing in some of the coumarin pipe flavoring, or the butterscotch flavoring that I got....I don't hear too much about Butter Pecan in comparison to sticky icky, cinnamon bun, butterscotch, et al. Crossing my fingers my boyfriend likes MBV and isn't one that hates it or is apathetic to the juice.

wow.. page 400 of the thread

I wonder if there's a page / post limit before we have to start a new one

I always use ECF as my code unless there's a sale.. lazy typist I guess

I don't have alot to add to the thread tonight.. managed to get the summer crud yesterday.. hit me in under 5 minutes .. but thankfully, so far, I can still taste my juice - just can't vape it much with my sore throat
*hack, wheeze, cough.. sniffle* yep.. one attractive vaper here.

I've heard there's some really bat-.... insane flu-like thing going around the midwest. Hits quick and hits hard. Don't know much more than that. Go get a bunch of garlic and start eating garlic on toast, garlic soup, hell-- boil some garlic and breath in the steam. If it's viral, picking up some l-lysine from the drug store (amino acid) and taking several grams a day of that should help.

hope you have some menthol/ice and light on the PG-liquid to vape to help your throat.

My granddaughters had fevers and tummy issues while I was in KC....then I got it....thought it was the stress but it lasted about 3 or 4 days. My best friend there had it too. Came on fast and went away fast. Crud was exactly how I felt!!

Garlic.. check.. broth already made.. first thing when I got home yesterday after getting smacked in the face with this bug .. serious garlic broth..

also taking 500mg of vit C an hour til I saturate.. which has not happened yet.. started at 1000mg an hour

juice is all max VG.. the no nic juices do not hurt much... peppermint (candy cane) is nice for the sinuses

If I can drag myself out of the house tomorrow.. have to restock my juicer ingredients.. need lemons.. greens.. etc

usually, when someone's sick, they can't taste their juice.. good for the juices that we don't like.. maybe that stage will be tomorrow.. for now.. juice tastes good

sleep will taste better - albeit sitting up

My son got sick last night so I was home with him today so ill probably catch it. I'm guessing it's the same flu you're talking about here in utah though.

I got some butter pecan in yesterday and straight from the box man it is buttery! I'm letting it steep at least a few days to see if the pecan starts to jump out.

Is shipping always free when the purchase is over $50?

Also,
when flavoring pure VG with no nic, I am wondering if the 12% or so general rule of thumb is what I should aim for with flavoring. I don't have a way to measure it, so do I just eyeball it and then go from there? I have the 15mL flavoring and would like to make 60 mL so the most that I could do is 1/4 flavoring (which I know is really strong.)

I know it's been said before, but shots aren't equal to the original amount right? Not a big deal since I'll just be flavoring to taste but just curious if I add flavoring to already flavored stuff how many "shots" it equates to.

I think it's been posted that 10-12% flavoring is the "normal" for most MBV juices, and each additional shot is another 2%.

It will be difficult to measure juices by eyeball. Some DIYers measure their flavorings by counting drops...it is not the most accurate technique since the drop size can vary, but it might be a better approach than not having a technique. Some syringes and a graduated cylinder really are worth the investment, IMO.

Are you still using the original coils for the triton? If so order the replacement coils they actually worked better for me and I use 100% VG which is thicker. You may also want to look into Fast Tech for a cheap EVOD kit and see if you like a bottom coil vape more and its really cheap to try (9.30 for 900mah batt, charger and an EVOD clone)

Or better yet, the Twist kit (VV) for only $6 more:

PS yes I'm still many many pages behind on this thread. Why I feel the need to catch up on everything, and not just skip to the last few pages however, well blame my OCD.
