I took the advise given and had some juice and a brand spanking new mod from mbv sent to my companies warehouse, hopefully I can get by and pick it up by the weekend. Any way to short cut the steep time? I got a cinnamon roll and a whipped cream. Currently already have a pumpkin pie spice (another vendor) on hand thats gtg.

:thumb: glad to see ya made it over here! I'm vaping Cinnamon Roll right now. Good out of the mailbox, better with steeping. Same with the Whipped Cream. The Whipped Cream does have a tendency to gunk coils and will get darker as you vape it, but its oh so good. The coil is an easy fix, just need to clean your tank.

Thanks.I've been browsing the IGO-L and Micro Coil threads for awhile now.I have never wrapped a coil and watching some of the videos had me worried getting the leads captured on the posts of the IGO.I dont see why people have so much problem with it,now that I've done it.No messups....no do overs....first try, perfectly wrapped coil and captured no problem. Now I will say, over the last week I have been reading those threads and watching countless videos,so I kinda feel like I had already done it.I'm 6'5 and pretty healthy around the mid section so I got big ole ham fists for hands. From opening the package to taking my first vape off the new setup, including washing the IGO,was 15 minutes tops...probably closer to 10.
Anyway,I'm just glad I have a killer setup now to give me all of my MBV goodness out of my juice.

I got it right out of the box too, but I have had a few days since then that I couldn't wrap a coil if I wanted to. I put it down for a day and then I'm right back vaping clouds of MBV. Just got some 29g kanthal and 1mm ekowool, trying to get a better microcoil using ekowool doubled up. Right now I'm using 1.5mm doubled up and I hover around 2-2.5 ohm coil, want to get it lower but don't want to deal with wicking issues with one strand. I only use cotton for my BCC and will eventually use in RDA's but right now I don't like the idea of a mouth full of burnt cotton.

I have had one hit so far that gave me a burnt cotton taste and honestly I'm not sure if it was burnt cotton or just a dry hit.Dropped a few more drops in and everything was fine.Since my first post a little bit ago I did wrap a new micro coil.First coil came out at 1.4ohms and the second one at 1.6ohms...First one was doing good but I wanted to get the coil closer to the airhole.Second coil is all the way out by the lip,I can actually see the coil through the airhole now. It's working like a champ.

Tomorrow I'm ordering Blackberry, Sweet Cream and Pie Crust to play around with and see if I can get a Blackberry Cobbler. I'll let you know how it turns out :D

Please let me know what you came up with. You can also part it out in their DIY section, but I heard pie crust is a great mixer. I will eventually add it to my collection.

OK broke out two new flavors from 7/16:

Peanut Butter Cup 20/80 PG/VG +1, 6 mg. - YUM! Rich, peanut-y and chocolaty - lots of vapor - I can smell the peanuts in the air.

Tiramisu (same as above) - I think I got the wrong flavor - this juice is on the clear side and tastes fruity?? Not at all what Tiramisu should taste like. Who else got some - I think we need to compare notes! It almost tastes like blueberry or blackberry :?: I guess I need to contact MBV.
How does your Tiramisu smell?I havnt tried it yet but so far I'm smelling the rum quite a bit...definately going to let it steep a little while.Does yours smell like rum or berries?

Vaping Johnny Chimpo for the first time! It's not for for everyone but I DO like it......I get maple syrup & banana, a little stronger on the maple. This was a free sample born on 6/19. It is a very fragrant flavor, anyone who enters the room says they can smell maple syrup!

I wanted to order it about two weeks ago and posted that it was outof stock...Debcartee offered to send me her free sample since she didn't like it!

THANKS DEB!:toast:...BTW did you like the Farmers Market?

I thought about the DIY option but I haven't tasted any of the flavors before. Plus this way I can mix it to my taste a bit at a time without having a bottle of something that didn't match what I have in mind :) I'm looking forward to seeing what I come up with and reporting my findings.

Tucson, it's a dry heat
It didn't smell like rum - it smelled like berries. It's a light liquid with almost a pinkish/purplish hue, so I'm assuming I got the wrong flavor. All the other Tiramisu I've tried (Ahlusion and TFA) are darker and have a coffee, cocoa, and coffee liqueur scent and taste. It's definitely some sort of dark berry taste - pretty sure blackberry. I'll know in a few days when the second batch arrives.

Happy Monday MBV Chatters! :D
Okay I'm not gonna have time to finish catching up on this thread before I have to hop in the shower and run out so I'll respond to where I'm at so far...

Are you planning to order these in the 10ml bottles, or one of the sampler packs? I ask because you can ask for extra flavor on the bottles, just not on the little 4ml samples.

Most AiV juices are more subtle overall so if you're used to big in-your-face flavor, you may want extra shots on A Quiet Morning. That's a favorite of many and probably on my next big bottle order. (I have Cherry Blossom Tea instead which is very similar, a green tea vape but with Cherry Blossom instead of Passionfruit.) You'll also find that cartomizers can tend to mute some of the more delicate flavors or subtle backnotes in some of their juices, so I wouldn't recommend the tea flavors in a carto. I think Lemon Loves Cake could use extra flavor as well as it's pretty mild even after a long steep. I have tried nearly all their flavors (minus only a couple still in the C-Room) because I started with the Little Bit of Everything sampler pack. For $33, it's a great way to try all their flavors. Then you can decide for yourself which you would prefer extra flavor in.

I have full size bottles of both Zombie Apocalypse and Twas Brillig and both are spectacular without any extra flavor for me. For both, the flavor gets stronger after about a month. Zombie Apocalypse is said to be a Strawberry Muffin but I really don't get much muffin out of it, yes it doesn't taste like a straight super sweet strawberry flavor either but there's not a strong cake flavor in the background either. Lemon Loves Cake might be good to add a few drops to it if you want to enhance the cakey-ness. Something I've never tried, but maybe I will now that I've thought about it. LOL Same with the Twas Brillig, the crumble flavor is slight but comes out more at higher voltages. (I can't remember exactly what voltage I usually vape it at right now but I know I liked to crank it up a bit higher to get that.)

My other favorites from AiV that I had to order big bottles of are White Rabbit, Pun'kin Tumble, and 15 Foot Falls, but you didn't ask about them. LOL Oh and make sure to go into the Lab to check out the test flavors too which haven't yet made it to the main site. You can get there from More -> C.Room and then click on the big picture of Alice and the Door.

Good luck and let us know what you end up trying out.

Awesome awesome, thank you for the reviews. :)
I had been toying with the idea of grabbing a handful of 10ml bottles, or getting a sampler or just buying one bottle and crossing my fingers, but....
A very generous person is going to PIF some bottles they don't care for. I am beside myself excited. So I'm going to hold off on ordering anything for the time being (except maybe a 10ml bottle of Twas Brilling to try......) So yeah, yay! I can't wait to give them a shot. :)

And I only didn't list White Rabbit because I have been struggling to narrow my list down and not keep changing my mind. it is definitely something I want to try at some point, along with the pumpkin flavor, which I'd imagine would be a very cool fall flavor to have on hand.

Anywho, thanks again for you input. Much appreciated. :)

am I the only one that really really enjoys their mango e juice? I vape it right out the box. I looooooove it.

I could never handle the texture of mango, so the flavor doesn't appeal to me. But with juice, things I don't normally like taste really good. It's going on the list. . .

Huh, mine is also clear, but it DEFINITELY has a coffee-smell to it.

I've put it in the steeping box, where it will stay for another 1-2 weeks before i taste it though.

Mine is a real light color.Definate rum.I just tried a couple drops in the dripper and get a pretty strong rum flavor with light coffee undertones.Gonna let it steep for awhile before I tackle it again,I think that will bring out the other flavors pretty quick.

I haven't tried my JC yet but that sounds great!
I'm a Canuck that grew up in New England and love maple.
Vermont Maple Syrup (and the candy) is one of the basic 5 food groups here.
Mine was born on 6/29 so maybe it's about good about now :)
