I have funky tongue again I can taste my juice but it tastes off and bad.

The only thing that is pleasant to vape right now is some back woods brew malty toffee. Probably because I just got it and it's really light. Off to eat some dill pickles. I HATE this! I was just FINE for like a week and then back to it. And I have some REALLY KILLER juice right now! I still have my 5 pawns sampler, and my stellar custard's last stand from nicoticket, and my banana's gone nuts and hazelnut coffee from MBV are fully steeped and up until this evening just wonderful.

Aww that stinks! Hang in there, sweetie. Vape the one you can tolerate and ride it out. It will go away.

Tongue trauma!

My AiV Zombie Apocalypse starting tasting like burnt wood about 15 freaking minutes ago, right outta the blue, for no apparent reason whatsoever. Not "kinda off" or "a little funky." One second it's strawberries, the next it's scorched pine. And I have no Moo Juice. And neither does MBV apparently. Again. I guess strawberry is a popular summertime vape.

Swedish fish. Smells nice and sweet right from the bottle. Vaped it right away because I'm terribly impatient. Light flavor, but good. Continued to vape it on my drive into work. Slight cherry cough syrup taste....not gross, but not Swedish fishy, but def still vapable, that is until I poured my evod into my lap.....
Six hours later I smell like sugary sweet Swedish fish lol

I keep hearing vaper's tongue described as not being able to taste them at all..that's not it. It's like my vanilla's taste icky sour, my bowden's mate has a sour taste, my hazelnut coffee tastes like prunes, and my banana's gone nuts tastes like the inside papery stuff on a pecan.

Ironically..malty toffee and come to find out conundrum, both from back woods, taste decent. Dunno. And Everything tasted just FINE up until about two hours ago.

Conundrum, btw..is a damn fine juice. Tastes like juicy fruit gum with very slight hints of banana and menthol. Super light, barely there menthol. Wonder how it will taste when my buds decide to be normal again.

Dena - are you drinking lots of water? I find that when I drink liquids other than water, my juice tastes go all wonky.

Mystery solved! I don't drink, but my buddies who do have reported similar experiences with vaping and drinking. One of them only vapes one specific juice while he drinks because everything else tastes funky to him.

That was not my experience. Mine was more like yours. I could taste them but they didn't taste right. Kind of like....I don't know....that gum that never loses its flavor but tastes yuck after a while. Sour is a good description.

OTOH, I have had a couple of beers in the evening and not had any trouble. Hrm.

Freckled lemonade is one of the juices I bought a 50 mL bottle of. Must as I dislike the draw on a pro-tank, I think the flavor is better in it than in an evod. That said, I only have one pro-tank and so have had freckled loaded in an MT3S and it has done fine so far..not seeing any clouding or cracking. I think I am going to have to give afternoon delight a go..you guys have me curious.

Tried my first absinthe flavored juice today when I went back to the newest B&M here in KC. Drake's was the brand juice is Alchemist. I expected to hate it but instead absolutely love it. Of course MBV has an absinthe but it's OOS like so many others right now. Has anyone in here tried it that could give their impression?

Not sure about what to vape with rum & coke, but with beer citrus vapes are aces! Have you tried MBV's rum flavor? Or butter rum? Bet that'd pair nicely, if they're good ones to begin with.

No, I just had a minor sinus issue that passed quickly but knocked my taste buds out of commission for a while. (Long after the sinus thing cleared up. >(
My mainstay was Johnny Chimpo, though. It was the only thing that tasted pretty much the way it should throughout.

Sounds like you may have found your answer though. It could be something as simple as you're just getting a bit dehydrated by the alcohol, though. Drink equal parts water to however much rum and coke you're drinking and see what happens. Can't hurt, right?
