Got MBV vapemail today

Stucky bun is not bad out of the mail, just no wow factor for me right now, maybe will change with steeping...

That was my impression of Sticky Bun out of the mail as well. Nothing wrong with it, no off flavors or anything - just not much flavor at all. It surprised me because Cinnamon Bun was good right from the mailbox (as was Banana Cream Pie) - maybe the flavors in Sticky Bun are more complex and take more time to develop. I'll have patience because it seems like it might be worth the wait.

I got double vapemail today (non-MBV related) - my dripping setup (510 attys and various related accessories) and my Nicoticket juice. Been drip-sampling CLS, Beetlejuice (now renamed Fruit Fly on their site), OR30 and a Caramel Beta. I'll post reviews of them later in the appropriate thread(s), but suffice it to say Me Likey. Me Likey a lot!

Back on topic, I plan to use the dripper to go back through and play with all my MBV juices - especially the ones I've been lukewarm about - to see if I get a more accurate handle on the flavors. In the meantime, I'll again proclaim my undying love for MBV's Banana Cream Pie, DANG this stuff is good!

Anyone received any lackluster butterscotch lately? Got in a 50ml bottle with 2 extra shots about 1.5 weeks ago and the stuff is just unvapeable. It tastes nothing like butterscotch and just has a bad almost pungent aftertaste. E-mailed customer service and they said to let it steep for 2-4 weeks because its a bigger bottle and there's no way it could be a problem with the liquid....*sigh*. I'm fine with that...but it still makes no sense to me. Butterscotch was fine on Day 1 the last time I ordered it and had turned into my ADV. The new stuff isn't even remotely the same color, smell, anything. Disappointed and missing my ADV.

If it still tastes like dung I would email the company and avoid the chat all together, they seem to be less likely to address the issue. On a side note you may want to look into DIY for your favorite flavors, much cheaper and you have to go out of your way to run out.

Any who, I got Ecto Cooler since I've been out for a while(my favorite) along with some others I haven't tried yet....Fruit Striped Gum, Butterscotch, Demon Energy, and Solar Flare. Here's what I put in my comment section last order..."Hey guys, if you have any Hawk Sauce left over, can I have that for my sample by any chance? Everytime it comes in I have no money, then when check day comes and I order, it is already out. I've been trying forever to get some of this stuff, heard it's great. If not, don't worry. Great job as always!" Hawk Sauce came in for my sample! Sorry I'm rambling on, but they made me so happy today. It's even in 18mg nic, 65pg/35vg like my other juices. Mtbaker is amazing!!! A+++ Customer Service!

Thanks for the suggestion. Just got into first rebuildables and mechs, and interested in DIY, it just seems fairly daunting. Something worth looking into for sure!

Well i tried the hawk sauce and it has a mixed berry flavor with a hint of menthol at the end. I can't really compare it to 1 thing but def berry and a very very light menthol.

I only have about 3ml left of my Spring Break eliquid, and my wife doesn't need any new juice right now ( I certainly don't either). So I guess I have to go back to my Raspberry Lemonade

So, when did a "need" enter into the equation? If I only ordered e juice when I needed it I wouldn't have found nearly as many good flavors.

You can shake it well (!) then split it into smaller bottles to steep it quicker

I ordered a 50ml bottle of Banana Creme Pie (second order, so I know what it smells like straight from the mailbox) along with several other flavors during the 4th of July 13% off sale. When I took the caps off to steep them they all smelled like they should except for the BCP. It smelled like machine oil. I continued to let it steep for almost 2 weeks and it still didn't smell right. I put a few drops in an atty and YUCK! Did not even resemble Banana Creme Pie. It tasted like sweetened machine oil.

I contacted MBV through their "Contact Us" feature on their website and explained what I was experiencing. After a few hours of not hearing anything back from them I checked my MBV account. They had issued an $11.00 credit to my account, which was great but they never contacted me to let me know. If I had not checked my account I would have never known they had ever received my email.

Not normal for MBV. They have always been great and I still love them, but I think they are going through some major growing pains right now. They are making some mistakes which is understandable for the large volume of orders that they are receiving. I did go ahead and re order the Banana Creme Pie using the credit on my account. I got it and it is awesome! Of course, I also ordered some other stuff as well and everything was perfect.

So I would suggest simplyxtwisted that you contact them by email again. Butterscotch should still smell like Butterscotch right from the mail, even if it needs steeping for a while to blend the flavors. I know, it's one of my favorites. Chances are the same thing happened to you that happened to me. Mistakes do happen and I'm sure they will make it right.

BTW, I continued to let the original 50 mls steep and it still smells and looks way different from the second bottle. It did not improve with steeping and it never will. I will be tossing it.

Well I tried to attempt Thug Juice with less menthol and it was a bust! I did a 30 ml with only 1 part menthol and apprently that was toooo much. Im hoping it will mellow out some. I guess I will just stick to adding my extreme ice to stuff as I go. I was just hunting a hint of menthol like in Hawk Sauce. Oh well....

They had issued an $11.00 credit to my account, which was great but they never contacted me to let me know. If I had not checked my account I would have never known they had ever received my email.

They did have a brief period recently where their communications systems went all wonky. They might have sent an email that never came, or at the least, THOUGHT they successfully sent you an email.
