...This is costing more than my sailboat and everyone knows a boat is a money pit!...but no smokes....116 days....who woulda thought?!!
Congrats on 116 days! And as far as the boat - "BOAT" is an acronym for "Break Out Another Thousand". I heard that when I bought my first boat - now on my second, and it's SO true! :D

never had it so can't help ya. but please let me know how it is, cause i've been looking for a good vanilla. :)

You just reminded me I had some in my steeping cupboard, I did not like at all when 1st got it, just loaded some up and has really improved, think it still needs a little time, but is vapable now, and been steeping for 2 weeks.

Mine is 65/35 6mg with 2 flavor shots. Hopefully mine won't take a month with my specs. Think I'll throw it in a hot water bath tonight for a couple hrs. and see what develops. I'm in search of a good vanilla too and I love nutmeg so I'm hoping this one is a hit! I'll let ya know!
I have nothing but love and respect for MBV so I'm therefore hesitant to mention it in this thread, but try Nicoticket's Custard's Last Stand. Absolutely unbelievably delicious vanilla custard flavor. Others have said that their Creme Brulee is very good also, but I haven't tried that one yet so can't attest to it first-hand. CLS has earned a prime spot in my ADV list.

I'm in Connecticut and we have coconut milk ice cream! I've seen it at Trader Joe's. Friend at work is lactose AND gluten free, poor thing, so I'm constantly on the lookout for things for her.
Good to know! We were down on the cape (in Dennisport) and the closest Trader Joe's was in Hyannis. Since it was 4th of July weekend, the prospect of heading back towards Hyannis to Trader Joe's was kind of daunting. Both in Stop & Show and Shaws they acted like they never heard of it! Looks like next time we hit the cape, it's shopping at Dad's (where there's a TJ's around the corner, before we head to the Cape where everything cost 3x as much. Seriously! Grocery prices on the Cape are even more expensive than grocery prices in California (and I'm talking urban, like Silicon Valley). So thanks for the heads up that TJ's carries it back there. :)

coconut milk is my saviour. now only if i could find a vape to match it....!
I've got my eye on a couple coconut vapes I wanna try. The one from MBV has received a lot of good reviews both from others here and at Spinfuel, but it doesn't sound like it's a creamy coconut milk sort. It's going on my next order anyway. The other, from one of my other favorite vendors, is supposed to be more of a creamy coconut, and has gotten rave reviews as well, specifically talking about how creamy it is. So I think the latter may end up fitting the bill slightly more for what I'm looking for but I must do my due dilgence and get both! Besides, both would be great to add to ummmm.... EVERYTHING! LOL

Have you tried any coconut juices yourself?

Now back to catching up on the rest of this thread... man y'all were chatty today!

Patchouli!! I burn that scent of incense! still love it after all of these years....once a hippie chick, always a hippie chick!!:D

I lived 2 hours from woodstock.. didn't hear about it til 3 years later.. very sheltered childhood.. was 9 when it happened.. would have sooo been there had I been a few years older though I still consider myself a late hippie.. showed up late to the party but brought favors ;)

snip

Question: Will less PG or VG make and e juice less sweater? Which one?

VG is fairly sweet on it's own.. not an overpowering sweet though
I vape it by itself when I'm dripping.. between flavors

good to see James back

How many people here use MBV's flavorings to make their own juice? Granted, not all of their juice flavors (such as 'sticky bun') are available as straight flavorings but many are.

It seems like an obvious way to save money with no sacrifice of quality. As an example, I make 50 mL of 'cinnamon roll' for less than $3.00.

I wish I'd done that from the start. None of this I ordered too many or too few flavor shots business. Too weak? Add more flavor. Too strong? Add more base.

Seems like a lot more room for error on the front end, but then you can FIX it.

Never tried it though, so that's just my assumptions.

Shhh let's keep it our little secret! ;) j/k

Actually I'm sipping on some of that sweet, sweet nectar right now. Real steeped vanilla bean... mmmm... My bottle is scary low now though, thank goodness there's a nice 50ml bottle on it's way to me!

Still waiting on Hawk Sauce and Sticky Bun to be back in stock before placing an MBV order.

Local vape meets with PIF/Trading Boxes are such a wonderful thing.

I just picked up several mostly full bottles of MBV juice: 12mg French Vanilla 65%PG, 12 mg Zinger Tea 80%PG, 12mg Hazelnut Coffee 65%PG, 18mg Hawk Sauce 65%PG, and 12mg Almond Delight 80%PG

Only about 8ml left in the Almond Delight, they must have liked it for a while? The others are almost completely full! I just hope someone is as happy to have found the bottles I left in exchange as I was to find these. Only bummer is the Hawk Sauce is a little strong on the nic for me, but I've been very curious about that flavor after reading the reviews here.

When I wanted to see if the grass was greener on the other side (which it is not) and tried other vendors for a few weeks, I nearly ordered from NT, and the custard stand was in my cart, I ended up not making the order because of how much they wanted for shipping 2 bottles of juice, no discount code, no freebie, put me off from ordering from them.

Anyone have a review on dream tea, because im looking for a really good tea flavor but im quite picky about tea juices and i would love for some word before i made a purchase.

Dream Tea, 80% PG 20% VG, 12mg, 0 flavor, shots Made on 6/5/13 - Don't remember how it tasted on day 1, dripping it now for a memory refresh. I don't think steeping has changed it much, might have been more perfumy, but it's been so long. Right now it's a fairly light but sweet flavor. Reminiscent of a pineapple life saver. Hard to nail down exactly what I'm tasting - tried too many flavors tonight! Reloading, is there some dragonfruit in this? Maybe even a little coconut? It's complex. Tropical. Not sure I'm getting green tea, but my taste buds prefer black teas, so maybe get a second opinion for that aspect.

*edit* I wanna say I'm tasting jasmine tea now. Do you like complex vapes? If not, stay away. If so, I say go for it!

Bwahaha He's catching up to us!

I'm not sure how closely he's really reading though. He liked a post where I said their pear flavor started out great then turned into pear + sweatsock. Maybe he just appreciates the honest feedback? *shrug*

A side note on the whole "pear went funky" thing. I thought about how flavor gets stronger as it steeps and for an expeariment I tried diluting some with PG. 80% pear (no flavor shots) 20% PG. Shook it up and had it with me in my camera bag getting jostled around all evening. Got it home, dripped a bit and I'm tasting all pear, no funk. Flavor is much milder, but at least it's vapable again. So if anyone else experiences a juice that was good the first week then went yucky, maybe try diluting it a bit?
