OK, so personally I like reading
juice reviews. Everyone's opinion is about as biased as they come, but they help in picking new juices regardless. First off, I don't really like "sweet" vapes, except for the occasional drip session, so please keep that in mind. I also really like to mix up my own concoctions, so when I review stuff (I keep a list/review of every juice I've tried so I don't get them confused) I try to add what it adds to a mixed flavor. These
reviews are from 19 days after the mix date.
American Tobacco - Needs at least 1 week to steep. At first it comes off like a very strong molasses/syrup flavor, but without the sweetness. After 2-3 weeks, the flavor smooths out and gets much better. One of the more tobacco-y flavors I’ve tried (not just branded as a tobacco). Keeps a bit of the molasses flavor even after steeping. Almost feels "thick" (but not in a bad way) on the tongue. Makes a very good mixer to add a tobacco-y taste, or as starting point for tobacco-based mixes.
Coconut (1 extra flavor shot) - Needs at least a week and a half to steep. When it's fresh it is actually quite off-putting, after about 2 weeks it mellows out and the coconut comes through. However, I still find it EXTREMELY mild, even with an extra flavor shot. I like it as a mixer to add that "what's that other flavor in there?" taste, but certainly not enough to vape by itself. Tastes a bit... "darker" (not quite the right word) than real coconut.
Tidewater Tobacco - Crazy. I don't know whose idea it was to sell this as a "tobacco" flavor, because it certainly is not. Just like others have said, I mostly get a lemon flavor (reminds me a lot of lemon sorbet, not sweet like lemon-flavored stuff, not tart like an actual lemon) with a sort of spicy aftertaste. It's nothing I would have ever thought would be good (but I had to try it thanks to the "weird factor), but it is. It's REALLY good. It's nice after dinner (like you would have lemon sorbet) in a dripper, and I add it to a LOT of my custom mixed concoctions, but certainly not an ADV for me personally. However, I recommend people try it, it's very strange... and delicious.
Cantaloupe - perhaps the most perfumey-when-fresh juice I've ever encountered. It's really overpowering. After about 2 weeks of GOOD steeping though (lots of shaking and venting) the cantaloupe really shines through. As we all know, most flavors are reminiscent, but not terribly true to their namesake. This one is. Just like a cantaloupe, the flavor is mild, but very recognizable, and not over-the-top sweet. Again, I can't vape this for extended periods (more than a half hour or so) but this is a very "TRUE" flavor. This was my sample, and something I would have NEVER ordered as I don't like most sweet or fruit flavors, but am very glad I got it. It may take me 2 months or more to go through 15ml, but it's very good.
