has anyone gotten root beer lately that actually tastes like root beer? a 4 week steep and nada, bought a new one, and nada???
(somehow i think there's something missing, like koolaada

anyone use 3mm wicks when they recoil? if so, is it OK to put a little juice on the middle of the wick before you close it up and load up a tank?

I've had mine for weeks.....I want to like it but it does nothing for me.....not even a good mixer here. Just ordered butter cream in hopes to get that creamy vape that satisfies....that and vanilla cup cake....maybe they'll be good together. I hear the vanilla custards are hard to get right. Sorry I can't help ya on this one.

I use 3mm silica wicks and I do and have no issues at all.
I wanted to try as I have some 3mm threaded ekowool but it seems too thick for a ProTank. What kind of 3mm wick did you use?

I've been thinking about you and hoping you've been healing well. You did it up good didn't you? At least you're colorful as you go through the casting part of it! Thanks for the tip on mixing bavarian cream and the custard. I have both and will try that. Maybe it will help. Keep posting when you can.....don't want to miss out on your chance for the big win!!!

I initially tried the 3mm Ekowool and no-go, it fit but is too tight to wick, 2mm works like a champ...

My sister sliced off the very tip of her thumb over Thanksgiving and it took a long time to heal....lots of nerve endings there. Hope you heal up fast and have enough cold ones to stave off the pain in the meantime!

i tried making my first coils last night. i put some juice on the wicks that were sticking out. i let the evod sit for about 15 minutes, still seemed dry. (and i was starting to feel like Xaviera Hollander

just fyi....I am choosing to ignore all future references to the "P" word.....just say'n....if peeps don't want share in my excitement I'm cool with that....and I will always vape MBV juices....I'm loyal that way.... and it wasn't a vacation....I buried my mother's ashes....on the way home I found out a good friend ended her life Monday night....so I am in no mood.....don't mess with the ginger!!

Well, you may want to move the grommet up just a bit more to help with the wicking or use 2mm silica, but putting some juice on the wick before you close it up will not cause any issues, it's possible though that the coil may be wrapped a bit too tight on the wick for it to absorb the juice fast enough. I know quite a few people are using cotton, I built an Evod coil the other night with a piece of cotton pad, but have not tested it yet as I only have 2 Evod and they both are full of juice, but I am thinking that it may not be enough cotton and my flood but I see when I test that coil out. I will say that it was a royal pain to try and pull 3mm wick through the coil, the 1st one I just wrapped on the coil on the wick and it was fine after playing with the coil to get it uniform enough, that is why the 2nd one I tried to pull it through, so when I can which might be sometime off, I will get small silica wicks for the Evod coils.

I sincerely think they were just teasing roonies, everyone loves you here, I know I sure do, whatever you use to vape with is great! All I want is the SVD so I don't have to fiddle with stuff and be able to vape at 8 watts as my eGo are starting to take a lot longer to charge so I am a bit worried about them dying out and the VV/VW that I had gotten is a 510 connection and it's messing up all the time now and no way to fix it. I'm personally happy for you that you can get what you like, doesn't matter what you use as it doesn't change the fact that you are our Roonies!

i wrapped the coil around the wick. it may have been too tight, i might have left too much hanging out on the side. i put a pin through the wick to wrap it, but i'm thinking i may just try wrapping around the wick without it. it's 1 less piece to mess with.
