Well I'm takin' Hawk Sauce tomorrow in one the two ProTanks that go to work with me, bumping one of my best DIY's, kind of a big deal, been vaping the same two "work" juices for probably goin' on six months. The other tank I have my own RY4 variant, never bumpin' that one ;)

I am of the same mind set as Sambuca, I don't consider this as a palate cleanser, but I typically vape stronger flavors, fruity, menthol type, I find that at times I may over vape them and my tongue will become sensitive so I go the opposite route and vape things such as Hazelnut, Peanut Butter, Butterscotch, French Vanilla, I don't consider them as palate cleansers but more of a tongue comforter, something that is smooth and soothing, whereas the opposite might be true for those that typically vape smoother type might find that vaping something a bit more tangy or have a little bite to them to have a change of pace for their palate sort to speak.

I usually vape sweet dessert-like flavors- vanilla, caramel, eggnog are the kind I'm drawn too. Although I haven't found an absolute fave yet. I am really enjoying the eggnog, which I go to when I'm sick of the others. But by then end of the day I can't taste much anymore. So you recommend an 'opposite' flavor, just to get the taste buds jumping again? I'm also thinking of trying fruity flavors, but fear getting a lingering aftertaste with them. I bought a mango from a B&M and it left an icky sweet aftertaste that was not so good. I was thinking of trying berry creamy and t razz next time around. Maybe add a menthol in there? I requested Teaberry as a freebie, and I love it, but only a little bit at a time.

well, my peanut butter is finally 2 weeks old, it's in a mini-davide. not bad! it was a freebie, so no extra shots. a couple extra shots and this would be sweet! (as in good, not sugary) it was OK in the evod, but i'm getting away from those.

my rootbeer "fix" is still steeping. i tried a little bit of it and the koolada really helps, but i still need to increase the rootbeer flavoring. i ordered 4oz from FW, hoping that i do get this just right. (i'll be a wee bit tiffed if i don't) this was my 2nd favorite MBV flavor as well as my "palate cleanser." all is not lost though, if i DO give up on it, that hawk sauce is coming along nicely and might just work as a substitute.

i liked the peanut butter so much that i ordered some hazelnut flavoring for DIY as well. :) not sure why i do stuff like that, cuz now i'm wishing i had ordered the peanut butter. (next MBV order!)

8oz of ducle de leche:wub: and 4oz whipped cream coming too!

i'm patiently waiting for the sticky bun. how long do you folks steep that?

for me, something light and "crispy" <---(don't know what the heck THAT means!)

something "different" than your usual vape. not menthol, but something spearmint(y) or peppermint(y), maybe? if you vape "warm vapes", then something cool. just something to "wake up" the palate.

candy cane? extreme ice? peeps here though do some mad vaping, so you'll probably hear stuff like ciminiminum?? or red hots or red liquorice!

what flavors do you vape? if you order from MBV, you can request your freebie whatever flavor you like. so far, my requested freebies have been rootbeer (awesome 1st time. not since  ), candy cane, whipped cream and peanut butter. ALL good!

i always try to spend over 15 bucks, just so i can try something new! (my 1st 2 freebies were berry treat...eh)

I always try to spend $15 too, not only does it get me to try more flavors but you get the freebie too! I've been looking at the pb, and are drawn to cinnamon roll, and dulce de leche, but after getting the salted caramel I'm hesitant. I like it, expected it to be ADV, because I looooove caramel, but it just wasn't meant to be. I also want to avoid getting similar flavors, because I'm trying to try new flavors, and have variety in my collection. On the other hand, if that's what I like.....
I guess that's the beauty of MBV, decent size bottles cheap, with opportunity for freebies. If I don't like, no biggie.

I basically went the opposite route, primarily vaped fruit variants and started getting a sweet tooth for desert types ;) I do bounce between juices, work is the longest stretch of the same two, after work though I probably switch between four to five depending on my mood, always ending with my caramel macchiato which starts me in the morning prior to leavin' the house.

i got the dulce de leche in case i got to see my old room mate (i was on a cigarette flavor" hunt). i thought it would get her to try it. (but that's a loooong story) after 3 weeks or so, i tried it. it's not so much the flavor, as the "texture" of it; it's kinda "luxurious". now, i vape it more than anything else. made my first DIY yesterday, started with dulce de leche. added a little koolaada to it to "cool" it up a bit. may have put too much, but i'm going to try to keep it so you can at least tell it's there. i'm out, so i'll be tweaking it real soon.

I personally do not get any after taste with any of the fruity flavors. I can only speak for myself, but I find that if I vape something that is opposite of what I normally vape it helps to break up the monotony or to help with issues with over vaping a specific type of juice. The only thing I can say is to experiment a little, don't over due it, and you will find what works for you the best, this is also a personal type of thing as taste vary so widely from person to person.

Been killin' Blue Moo the last few nights, still a little "buttery" and the blueberry still seems a tad light, but it is yummy. If the blueberry doesn't come out more in another week I think I'm goin' to add 2% of TFA blueberry extra, should do it ;)

My Blue Moo is dated 08/17/13 and tastes delicious. Gonna have to get another bottle. I haven't been able to put it down.

Looks like you have a good couple more weeks on yours, I usually am pretty patient, but I think my bottle will be empty before I reach that length of time, do have another comin' though :)

Finally my first MBV order. Placed it on Friday late int he afternoon and was delivered to my house at noon on monday on the exact opposite side of the country. Have read these need to be steeped so i also just happened to have timed an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner that arrived at the same time. :p Got 50/50 vanilla custard with an extra shot. I usuaslly am 70/30 or 60/40 but am trying to lessen the PG goes on. I tried the custard direct from the package and it was good, but I am a little sensitive to the VG flavor so i could taste it a little over the custard.

Took the new ultrasonic "steeping device" and stood at the sink for an hour cleaning my atty's and tanks while continually hitting the start button for a 3 minute cycle. Did it more times than not and am guessing the ultrasonic ran about 45 minutes out of that hour. The bottles came out a little warm and the juice was like water (so i know it worked). Let the bottles cool down over night and tried a new tank of custard and it was perfect.

Getting good juice fresh and fast, i have no problem putting in a little of my time to finish mixing. Plus the ultrasonic speed it up a weeks worth of steeping time.

(sorry if any of this is a repeat, but i am not going back and reading 1600 pages. ;))

what flavor is mixed w/the moo's and milkshake flavors?
Is it sweet cream or vanilla ice cream or am I completely off base?

When I do a flavor that has a creamy base I primarilly use TFA Vanilla Swirl which is a vanilla custard. I use the sweet cream with my coffee and tea drink flavors. Kind of to each their own :)

Hey Mike, I am a fan of Vanilla Swirl too as you know, however I have to ask, have you tried cream from vapingzone? It is my new favorite cream flavor, and I think I have tried them all at this point.

Got a bunch of their flavors and they are all super concentrated so 2 to 3% is all you need. So far I am very, very impressed. I use .5% of the cream in most things now and it is incredible. I would imagine adding a little to MBV or any bakery type juice (fruits too) would really make them shine. (Not that they aren't already great or anything)

I've done that with the blueberry extra and it really makes that juice come out.
