Steeping 2 to 3 weeks and longer for some flavors only makes MBV better. It's hard to wait, though....I know that's true!! I do 2 extra shots in everything, 6mg. and 50/50.....works for me. With the Whipped Cream I actually do 0mg. and use it as a mixer. I think the further we go along the more our palates change too. I needed to be slapped in the face with flavor in the beginning but my sense of smell and taste are coming back finally at just short of 6 months.

I had never tried their stuff before so I got an extra shot in everything, well, never ordered from them I should say. I have tried the cinnamon and a few others since my brother likes them and has had their juice around.

I think it's probably just a steeping issue, anyway it's working just fine as a mixer.

I have no control..........

Hey cool Roonies I saw your post in the Provari threads about getting the Red one. I was going to post there and tell you to just go ahead and get it. I figured you probably would. :)

I'm going to get myself a 2nd VV mod before long.

Is it normal for the flavoring to seperate in the bottle...This is the first time I ordered 50/50 and the first time I have gotten 2 flavor shots. I usually only get one but I heard that more VG mutes the flavor. I have some Pink Lemonade that a little bit after I have shaken it iis pink on top but clear at the bottom...Same thing with the Light Speed. How in the heck is it supposed to steep that way? I have been shaking them 3 times a day.

It took about 2 weeks for my lemonades to combine. I shook them to death!!! It takes a little while, but well worth it

To keep it simple Roonies - if you had 6 mg. 50/50 nic base and you wanted to make 15 mls. of juice at 10%, you would add 1.5 ml. of flavoring to 13.5 ml. of nic base. Here's the quandary though - because your flavoring has PG in it, your PG ratios won't be exactly 50/50 AND your nic will actually be less than 6 mg. because you added the flavoring to it.

Now, if you still want to keep it simple and don't care as much about cost, get 100% VG nic base at 12 mg. (yes you can go higher, but we're trying to keep it simple) and some unflavored PG (no nic). Then follow this recipe to get 6 mg. 50/50 juice with 10% flavoring:

10% RECIPE:
7.5 ml. nic base
6 ml. PG
1.5 ml MBV flavoring

If you want extra flavor (15%) follow this recipe:

15% Recipe
7.5 ml. nic base
5.25 ml. PG
2.25 ml. flavoring

Mix together and voila - 50/50 6 mg. juice

So your shopping list at MBV should be:

- 236 bottle of 12 mg. 100% VG (or get the 70VG/30 distilled water for a lighter blend)
- 236 bottle of PG
- flavoring(s) of your choice

You'll also need empty bottles (use your MBV empties) and at least 2-5 ml. syringes (I get mine at the walgreens pharmacy counter.)

Hopefully that should simplify DIY (it can be more complicated if you want it to be, but this is it in a nutshell.)

and THIS^^^^^ is why you are a good teacher!!!:toast: Now...I want to do this too...and I want to keep it simple so my ratios don't have to be "exact". I want an 80/20 pg/vg mix at 18mg nic. I want to get the stuff at Mt. Baker to do it. Here's what I plan to get.....and maybe you could help me with the recipes for say 15% flavoring because I like a good strong kinda flavor:) I'll need one bottle 236ml of 80/20 36mg nic juice.....one bottle 236ml 80/20 pg/vg...mix the 2 to get 472ml of 80/20 18 nic base...then begin to mix flavors...correct?.....this is where the recipe help would be much appreciated:) If you have the time that is..... OH...and I wanted to add that at first....I will be mixing only straight flavor bases...our favorites like Cinammon roll, white out, venom, etc. in 30ml bottles. This should get me about 15 30ml bottles with a 15ml left over.:)

Simple is as simple does.

Order 80/20 -24mg and add flavoring as desired. Exact Nic is not really all that important IMO. Test of some of the vendors ejuices have shown it to often be below or above stated Nic levels.

Simple math.

24 mg Base with 15% flavoring = 20.4mg
24 mg base with 20% flavoring = 19.2 mg
24 mg base with 25% flavoring = 18 mg.

only flavoring used at 10% or less would really leave the 24mg much higher than desired 18 mg and a 50/50 PG / VG non nic could be used to dilute these.

Warning never ever trust anyones math when it comes to Nic levels .

Got my order in this morning. 2 day shipping at a first class price from Mt Baker to Luttrell. I got 30ml of Butter Pecan, a 50ml of Cinnamon Roll, and 15ml of some flavor called "Soft Cinnamon" that was a freebie. I know I sound like an infomercial for Mt. Baker, but I cannot believe they throw in a free bottle of liquid. Vaping the Soft Cinnamon now, what a good flavor and good throat hit.

Thanks Charles, but what I was looking for is more of the recipes Mscomp provided. I know I could go the 24mg route but by doing the 18 based on what I posted above....after adding the pg based flavors it would get me closer to a true 14-16mg base which would be fine as both my wife and myself vape alot and now it's more about flavor and juice than nic. Plus...by cutting a 236 of 36mg base with a 236 of pg/vg it would give me ALOT of nic base to make flavors from which is the goal...ALOT of juice LOL:toast:

Soft cinnamon? Is that like the cinnamon in cinnamon roll without the roll?

Ok I'm new to this, only a couple weeks in. So this is probably a dumb question but...my husband and I vape different nic strengths he does 18mg I do 6mg. We both like the same flavors and the same pg/vg ratio 65/35. Is there an easy way I can mix my own nic level instead of buying two separate levels of the same juice from MBV? Sorry if this is a silly question.

I'm trying out Shenanigans today; it's 80/20 +1 and 12mg, born on 8/23. I have it in a Mini Protank on a Spinner at 3.8v. I'm getting flavors other than mint and chocolate out of it and would like a sanity/palate check...is anyone else tasting a little banana and cinnamon (and something else I can't put my finger on) in it?
