Good luck to you man, it is a good thing you do, and we are proud of you.Well, I guess I will get my first chance as a CASAA Member to stand up during a meeting that will be taking place in the County in which I live this coming Tuesday. There is also going to be some other Counties doing the same as will be listed below. I certainly hope that there will be others there as well to increase the pressure to curb these types of restrictions that will otherwise be put in place. They are working off the same old outdated and misinformation that is widely known to all of us as pure BS. Since I feel very strongly on this issue I will try and make the best of my 2 - 3 minutes that I will be allowed to address the council. For some reason I had never gotten a direct notification in my E-mail on this call of action I would have liked to have had more time then 1 day to prepare for this, but will be there to do my part as best as possible.
CASAA Florida Action Alert:
Marion County Could Take First Step Towards Vaping Ban at Tuesday's Meeting
Marion County, Florida (largest city -- Ocala) to discuss e-cigarette usage ban at 9 AM meeting on Tuesday
After several years of Florida cities and counties allowing vaping to spread without interference, it is now clear that things are changing. On Tuesday, October 15th, there are three important meetings on vaping ban ordinances and CASAA is urging its Florida members to take action against all of these ordinances.
(1) Orange Park (near Jacksonville): On Tuesday, October 15th at 7 PM the Orange Park City Council is likely to vote on an ordinance that would ban sales to minors, but would also ban vaping wherever smoking is prohibited. If you haven't already done so, please see this page for details on how to attend and/or contact the Orange Park City Council. (Please note that linked Call to Action for Orange Park inaccurately states the meeting is on October 14th. The meeting is on October 15th).
(2) Vero Beach (near Palm Bay and Port St. Lucie): On Tuesday, October 15th at 9:30 AM, the Vero Beach City Council will hold a first reading of an ordinance that would ban e-cigarette sales to minors, but would also ban vaping wherever smoking is prohibited. This is the first of two or three meetings on the ordinance, but it is important that we have people out in force at all the meetings. Please see this page for details on how to attend and/or contact the members of the Vero Beach City Council.
**NEW AND URGENT CALL TO ACTION BELOW**
(3) Marion County (near Gainesville): On Tuesday, October 15th at 9 AM, Marion County Commissioner David Moore will request a public hearing on an ordinance that would ban sales of e-cigarettes to minors, but would also ban vaping where smoking is banned. As you call by reading the proposed ordinance, Commissioner Moore is relying on numerous false and misleading statements about e-cigarettes, such as claiming that e-cigarettes are unsafe because the FDA found "carcinogens" in them (when in fact, the carcinogens detected by the FDA are present at equal and trace amounts in the nicotine patch).
The meeting will take place at 9 AM at the McPherson Government Complex at 601 SE 25th Ave. in Ocala, Florida (meeting agenda). You will be permitted to speak for 2-3 minutes during the "General Public" portion of the meeting. You must sign up to speak upon arriving at the Government Complex by filling out a public comment request form.
Like Vero Beach, this meeting is the first step towards establishment of a vaping ban. If the Marion County Commissioners vote to schedule a public hearing on the issue, the fight is not over! Indeed, the fight will only have just begun.
Regardless of whether you can attend, please reach out to the Marion County Board of Commissioners and encourage them to vote NO on scheduling a public hearing on the e-cigarette usage ban. Instead, encourage them to bring forward a new ordinance that would only ban sales of e-cigarettes to minors.

Good luck Dusty. Hope the council members listen without prejudice. I deal with meetings like that every week thanks to my job. I'm sure you're already planning on this but along with the most current information be in business casual clothes. It might be different in your area but in mine I've seen council members tune people out based on what they're wearing. It's sad and shallow because the people were making valid points.
Also talk to the local paper and find out which reporter is covering the meeting. Arrange to speak to them, or find them after the meeting. They should be publicly recognized at the beginning of the meeting. They can help spread the message and if the council votes against your issue, help get the voters behind you.
Blue Moo - had high hopes, will give it another week to steep, real artificial blueberry taste now
So I placed a big order last night & this morning there's a discount code posted.. MY LUCK..
Me too, ordered around $70 worth yesterday and now today an extra 4.92% disconut is available. I may just show them them what I think of this and place another order.
PS I do not believe the mail runs today.
I think it is all of our lucks.... but considering there is 10% already floating around you are actually only getting 4.92% off...
Some little solace in my life.
If it was in addition to the 10% off sale well then it would be Vapeageddon
don't worry, mine too. my order comes today, and this was supposed to be my no buying juice month, and i failed horribly, so i cannot buy anything. /sad face BUT THERE'S A SALE :/
