My purchase (based on google and youtube but not based on this thread since, sadly, I did not find it til today):
[15mL bottles with a variety of PG/VG ratios though I did buy some basic unflavored VG so he can tweak it however he wants, all with either four or five shots. I know most people start with reg flavor and then work up, but I think with his tastebuds he needs to start high and come down-- once again, the VG should help him if he needs it since he's okay with higher VG though as far as I can tell he hasn't had any sensitivity to PG]

1. 555
2. Thug juice
3. Butter Pecan
4. Cotton Candy
5. Hawk Sauce
6. White Out

My advice is to not even GIVE him the 555 for at least 2 weeks after it arrives. I find a lot of people get excited, try stuff as soon as it comes in, and judge the juice by the first taste. Tobacco flavors need AT LEAST 2 weeks to blend properly. MBV recommends steeping up to 30 days for their tobacco flavors.

I also found that - for me - extra flavor shots take longer to reach it's peak / final flavor. I loved both Butterscotch +2 and Amaretto +2 within the first couple of days - but by the end of week two, they'd matured so much that the flavors were FAR too strong for my taste. So if he tries them and isn't wowed by the potency of the flavor, know that they're likely to get stronger with time.

I just got butter pecan in the mail yesterday and can confirm, for me at least, it is definitely one to steep. It was nothing like what one would imagine to be butter pecan :D

We are lucky enough to have three vapor stores in Casper. Two of them are pretty sketchy, but in a pinch to stave off a stinky I'd do it.

It's kind of an interesting dynamic around here. The reputable store has managed to convince quite a few newbies that his is the only safe and reputable place to get gear and juice. My personal nickname for the guy is Vaping Jesus :D But still..anytime I have something new come along the first thing I do is hit google. Of course, you have to be smart enough to know what is BS but I can't imagine just taking one person's word for it on something like this. AND..there is SO MUCH COOLNESS out there!

On the other hand..had I NOT done that my bank balance would be a little higher at this point :D

Hmm!! over 670+ pages, my brain is numb! didn't get to go through it all but decided that I want to be a mtbaker customer. Ordered 3 juices for now to try it out. Red white and blue, Get razzled, and Sticky bun. All are in max vg, I count drops and a mech user with sub Ω builds :D so massive vapor is a must lol.

Tucson, it's a dry heat
There are "flavorings" and then there are the regular juices - MBV sells both. Flavorings are concentrated flavors that you mix with your own VG/PG and nic to make your own juice, aka "DIY". Then there are just the regular MBV juices. You don't vape the flavorings right out of the bottle. Make sense?

EDIT - TFA is The Flavor Apprentice - it's a brand of flavoring that a lot of people use to make their own juices. They come in small 8 ml glass vials. With MBV, their flavorings come in the same 15 ml. bottle, so you have to be careful not to confuse them with regular juice.

What is a "regular TFA" flavoring?

Hey Teach (and all the other Whipped Cream lovers). Thanks for the WC mixer suggestions, it was a flavor-saver last night! I had some Banana Cream Pie +1 extra shot steeping for a month and I tried it. It was too banana-y so I put about 1/3 WC in the clearo and viola!....perfect Banana Cream goodness! Haven't tried the WC on its own yet but it's definitely a great mixer!

I add a few drops to my DIY mixes when they're too strong to calm them down.
It's a good flavor on it's own, don't hesitate to try it :)

@ Opal - tag you're it (same thing at the same time)

Okay you guys convinced me. Putting WC on my next order.

Sigh..I JUST put in a pretty big order on the 4th and here I am already considering sneaking in another so I can get a couple of large bottles to get them steeping. I am starting to think the need to steep stuff is just a way to get you to buy more so you can have your back ups getting ready! :D

A vendor! Duh! This place is like being in the military with all your insider language and acronyms. Especially the acronyms. .

I can see where having your flavorings the same size as the juice could get ugly but 8ml is an awfully small size to buy, isn't it? Like the glass though.

oh comeon.. why are you not trying WC on it's own? it was my very first ADV.. and still rates there.

I add a few drops to my DIY mixes when they're too strong to calm them down.

Thanks guys I have every intention enjoying the wc on its own! Just need to "make room";) in a clearo for it!

Not necessarily. Different brands of flavorings are used at VASTLY different percentages. The flavorings you get from MBV are recommended to mix at 15% - 40% (although I know some folks in this thread have good success around 10 - 12% with MBV flavors).

Some other brands are meant to be mixed at .5 - 2%, which would make them go a lot further.
