You guys are too much :D Is it bad that I am actually considering trying the washing machine?

So I seriously didn't just check out the different wash cycles on my washing machine; yep I did :)

I steeped the Double Apple for a day with the cap and the drip tip off. Decided to try it in the Evod. All I can say is WOW. It really does taste like biting into a fresh apple as someone else on this thread has already mentioned. I'm thinking that this 15ml bottle won't last very long.

Interesting idea, but I have so many juices, I'd have to catalog them in a database. Then I'd be too lazy to look up the flavor info  I just like having the details on the labels, although my eyesight is getting so sucky, I can't read them unless I put them up to my eyes REAL CLOSE.

You could always grab a pack of Avery labels and print the specs out of each bottle in a larger font so that you can read them better. That's what I plan on doing for all of my future mixes. I'm also using one of those Swivel Store storage systems for storing my juices. You may have seen one of those as an "As Seen on TV" product (advertised as a spice storage system). I picked up a couple of those at my local Big Lots for $5 each. The 15ml bottles fit perfectly side by side in them.

I just have this vision of you taking your ziplock baggies of eJuice into your bathtub with you every time you take a bath during the next two weeks.

I always use microwaved hot water, in a bowl or coffee cup, with 2-3 bottles depending on the size. I do that for 2-3 rounds usually and just let it sit until it's room temp, shaking between each water warm up cycle.

um... no..

shower broad here.. though the baggies in the washing machine on a long gentle cycle in hot might be in the offing since now I'm scared of the dishwasher for juices

Maybe a double boiler on ths stove on low for an hour or so? I see a lot of people doing overnight on low in crock pot w/ water

Woohoo!! I got an old ultra sonic cleaner. No timer.. Just on and off :) I will speed steep now

Got it for $1 at a yard sale :)

SCORE!!

Can any one suggest some of MBV's tobacco flavors, I have tried a good amount of their other juices and was satisfied. But Now I am looking to pick up a few tobacco flavors, but all the reviews for the tobacco flavors don't seem very good. I have tried tobacco flavors from other vendors so I have good idea of what to expect. And while I like some more than others, all having their good and bad traits I can vape them all but usually end up blending them all together.
But even with blending them I want to start off with juices that are decent to begin with.

Thanks

I've read all the reviews, and the ones mentioned here by TheGirlFriend on the reviews that SpineFuel published, and I think I'm going to pickup Coumarin pipe for a friend here soon! It sounds like it would be a good one for tobacco lovers from what they had to say.

Here's their MBV reviews in case you haven't read them yet, plenty of tobacco reviews in there!

I have a very old Harley I need to get running again.......The vibrations on that thing would have to make for some good speed steeping!

I watched Mike score a '44 Knuck w/sidecar on American Pickers and was thinking...saddlebags for UC :toast:

You could fit many of gallons in a sidecar...hmmmmm

Got my first MBV mail today, it cooked a few hours in a 100+ degree mailbox while I got held up late at work ( of course) but everything pretty much smells great! I'm not digging the sample's smell( Berry treat) but it's the only one, and maybe I'm just butthurt because I requested a sweet creamy coffee suggestion so my nose is being ornery.
I have Surprise Grape, Hawk Sauce, Pie Crust and Root beer Float. Pie crust seems a tad manky yet; I've just gotta try one of the other 3 right now! Which would you pick?

MBV has become my sole source for juice. Thanks everyone for pointing me in their direction. Put in an order for 50 mils of doublemint and 50 mils of Hawksauce. It has already shipped. That's great customer service. Mt Baker if you guys are reading this you have more than earned my trade and you could certainly teach a lot of other vendors how to build a business.

Can't wait until it gets here. Doubleminty goodness for me!

I just ordered Fruit Stripe Gum Flavor tonight and Hawk Sauce is sex

Only one I have tried is Hawk Sauce, it is good right away, but way better after a week or 2.

Have not tried the following but based on a lot of reading I can say

1. 555 is pretty popular. I've seen one or two people mention vapeability right out of the mail, but then I've also seen some people mention it needs the normal steeping of 2-4 weeks.

2. RY4 is either a love it or hate it-- IF you're okay with it not being a regular RY4, it can be rewarding according to a few people. I've only seen one person who was in love with it right out of the mail (when it, for some reason, tends to have a strong black licorice flavor), most suggest steeping for one month.

SpinFuel online magazine has reviewed maybe 36 of their eJuices, and I remember them being a REALLY big fan of East Coast Tobacco via MBV. They have five people reviewing each juice so that makes me feel a little bit better about subjectivity.

special mentions for butterscotch tobacco and coumarin pipe. Not mentioned as often as the others, but sometimes. I myself got flavorings of each this past time (or perhaps one eLiquid and one flavoring.) Haven't taste tested them, but butterscotch smells more strong-- mainly butterscotch with tobacco on the back end. Coumarin Pipe smells like pretty much a few other pipe eLiquids I've smelled, but they're not wrong-- it smells like pipe tobacco without the bite of when I walking into an old school loose leaf tobacco shop, which I used to do occasionally when we lived near one.

The RY4 is tasty but not really tobacco-like.
I've been refilling my wife's and her friend's Green Smoke cartos with MBV East Coast Tobacco.
They like it and say it's very tobacco-like.

If you want accurate cigg tobacco flavor try Hangsen's RY1. That's tobacco :)

I'm glad I didn't get a 4oz of pie crust from FW. yuck.

I'd pick the RBF because I haven't tried it yet and folks seem to like it.
I tried Surprise Grape and love it. I wanted to buy the flavoring but it's not available :(

Save Hawk Sauce for last. It's amazing.

Put the Sauce away - Im sure you guys are right and it will be nicer with some time to develop. I went with surprise grape and it's sooo good; light in flavor at 50/50 1 extra shot, but so bright and refreshing and I swear it tickles my nose like grape soda! Thanks to all for reviews and suggestions, so far I'm very happy I tried MBV.

I really didn't like Vanilla Ice. Luckily, my friend is super into it so she gets the whole bottle lol. It's similar to Halo's Mystic Menthol but it's just not as good taste-wise. Halo's version is crisper, a touch sweeter and just more flavorful in general. It's the first juice of theirs that I tried and I'm really not into.

Now the greatest tragedy of all is that I love the Dream Tea and Albino Drake. I mean I adore these juices they're wonderful and unique and vape well and I can't get enough of them. So whats the tragedy? The gunk up my coils like crazy. I am using a Halo Triton. Any way to prevent this at all? Is there anything I can do? A way to draw? I dunno anything?

Maybe I need to step up and look into something more advanced, but I'm really not up on the techy stuff associated with e cigs so I haven't bothered looking into it too much.

Spurberry by itself is pretty good, but very cantaloupey (is that a word). I wanted to love it now but could tell it needs to steep. Jump forward four days and all I could thinkk about was the spurberry. Took it out of the steep cabinet and could tell it has mellowed but didn't want to fill a tank yet. Dripped about 10 drops into a carto I thought was new until it started leaking juice out the bottom. Turned out to be one I was using for a lemonade flavor I got from alocal shop a couple weeks back. Threw it on the PV and man was it delicious. Five or six vapes later I put it into its carto tank and did a 3/4 spurberry 1/4 lemonade. Heaven

It's the Dragon Fruit in there, I wish that flavor manufacturer would filter their flavors better, or stop adding so much sweetener, or correct both if their both adding to these issues. I know many of their flavors do this, the flavor manufacturer I mean not MBV in particular, wish they'd fix it asap!!

bigt, there's nothing you can do, it'll happen in any device really (With a juice suspect to this issue). You can try lower/lowest voltages, but that's usually not too enjoyable and the issue will still happen eventually. You can use SS Mesh, but you'll still get burning just as quick and have to clean the mesh all the time. They need to fix it, that's what should be done!!

Get on them James, please!!! :) MANY of their flavors do this, I can't believe they haven't corrected, or at least minimized the issue yet, it's been going on for a long time now with certain flavors.

How does freckled lemonade compare to raspberry lemonade? I got the raspberry as a sample and I was a little disappointed. Very little flavor and no real th.

But the blackberry!! I have calm myself so I can let it steep a few days at least but its got that great juicy flavor that I love.

I got both at the same time and prefer the freckled. Not much lemonade flavor in the raspberry to me. The freckled has a nice strawberry with a little more lemonade on the exhale especially through the nostrils but still a little light on the lemon for my tastes even with +2 flavor shots. I ordered some regular lemonade to get more lemon flavor. Still waiting its arrival

you're absolutely right. I just mentally lump RY4 in with tobacco, but yes, I'd heard that too-- a good one for those who like it, but definitely not the norm and not very tobacco-y.

So Hawk Sauce is absolute win after a week or two? I've had it open for eight hours then capped it shaking before and after. Should I do that again one more time this next week,
or just leave well enough alone. It was brewed on the fourth but I wasn't able to get to it to shake and uncap til today.

Also, for those who add VG to it-- I got Hawk Sauce with, I think four extra shots-- I wanted to see how my boyfriend liked the higher PG/VG ratio just to test, but PG normally hurts his
throat so I bought a big bottle of VG. Should I let it steep then add the VG and shake and let that hang out for a couple of days, or should I mix it now and let it all steep together.

I know VG takes longer to absorb flavor, but I'm not clear on if this is when you have a high VG or only VG ratio with flavoring, or if you have a highly flavorful dominant PG eLiquid
and you're adding VG into that after the flavoring has already pretty much saturated the PG liquid already. I'm sure it's not rocket science but I figured I'd ask :)

I'll offer my opinion here. I DIY, but I don't consider myself an expert at all (I just started DIY a few months ago). Since the flavorings likely combine better with the PG, I would let the juice you have steep while you formulate a plan and it will allow you to test the juice as it is now. Do you have mixing equipment (syringes/pipettes, a beaker/cylinder, bottles, and labels)? If you want to repeat your new recipe, they will be good to have on hand. 4 shots is a lot of flavoring. If you are mixing VG into a PG-heavy juice, I would try to add enough VG to cut down the flavoring to at least just 2 shots to start.

If MBV starts with 10% flavoring as has been suggested earlier in this thread, then 2 additional flavor shots sets the flavoring around 14% (4 flavor shots=18% flavoring, each shot adds 2% flavoring). Using an ejuice calculator: to make 10 ml of 14% flavored juice, you would need to add 2.22ml of VG to 7.78ml of the original juice. I hope that helps, or at least gives you some ideas.
