Hey I recently changed my mix to 50/50 and was wondering if I should add a flavor shot. I usually don't add any to new flavors Im trying cause I want to make sure it needs it or not. But I have heard when you add more VG you should add more flavor. I just don't want to wind up with a perfumy mess.

I changed it cause I was using 65 pg 35 vg and even though I drink water all day my skin and hair was drying out something awful and was worried that it could be the PG. I was going to order a couple of bottles from my other vendor as a treat (hadn't ordered from them for a while having too much fun with MBV) but I discovered they only offer 70 pg 30 VG. You think since they cost more that they could at least offer a few options. Well that just makes MBV that much better.

Speaking of caps, got a shipment this Friday and the stopper caps were all really loose... dumped a couple of mls on my desk and shorts as the stopper popped off filling my eVod.

Drats

I had the same problem. Thankfully I am a hoarder and never throw my old bottles away so I had to do some swapping. This is the first time that it ever happened. At first I thought they just wasn't on that good but seen they just didn't seem to fit! I surprised they didn't leak in transit.

Lucky you, I got an oder form July 3rd and in it was a giant bottle of Banana Cream Pie, when I got to the mailbox I could smell it from 10 feet away and got worried. Once opened all of the labels where wet and torn I was so ticked off and then I saw my BNC an there was less than 1ml missing. Amazing how so little liquid could cover so much stuff. Oddly enough they seal the big bottles with a foil cap and I couldn't find a leak anywhere. I wonder if some overflowed on filling and never got clean

I planned to do the same thing and bought a bunch of EVOD's but couldn't get the plastic taste out of them. I ended up selling them. I'm going to stick with Stardusts until I figure out another tank that I like. Note to self: Buy one and try it before stocking up.

Susan on my egos when I use them it's pretty much only evod or protank. I love them both very easy to rebuild the coils on them too if you're like me and enjoy tinkering. My iClear 16 gets some action every once and awhile. But for something inexpensive I'd go with an evod.

Krikket's MBV tip of the day:

Spearmint does NOT need extra flavor. I am stunned at how potent it is at base flavoring.

I did need to add a touch of sweetener to mine, I wanted Wrigleys and straight out the box I got Altoids. Nothing wrong with that, I just wanted it a bit sweeter is all.

Also mine was at +1 shots.

if your wife had a shoe obsession, you would probably be happy if she sold off what she didn't enjoy as much as the other ones, and then used that money to play with. I have a similar hobby that could take all my money if I let it, but the fact of the matter is-- there's only so many hours in the day to use what I buy, same with e-juice--and e-juice only has a 1-2 year time-frame to use anyway.

I'm not sure how much you vape, but say you're at 5mL, that's 150 days worth of juice! I'm all for stocking up for the zombie apocalypse, but if you want to buy more juice, just let some go! :) Or, you know, start walking around and getting cans and bottles out of the trash and start recycling for juice money ;D

150 days . That's all I have amassed? I knew I needed more juice. :p
She has been great about everything that I have said "once I get this I'm set". The thing is I am set for now but really want to tey so many more MBV flavors since I haven't disliked one yet

To add that touch of sophistication from big city life!

I used to vacation in a little Utah city, and they were ever so proud that their county only had one stoplight-- I'm pretty sure it was on their postcards and city-website...if they had one, which I'm not sure they did.

There are a ton of those little cities here, the further south you go in Utah the more religious and strange people get.

OK so MBV is out of a few flavors that I wanted but they had em in DIY so I said WTH might as well give this a whirl.
so 100.00 later I suppose I should ask some of you DIY'ers what percentage to you typically go with flavoring?
I grabbed a bottle of nic @ 24 mg and few pg/vg to dumb it down, about 10 flavors, some sweetener and but at $0.08 am ml final cost i figure its worth it. Oh and I get to feel like I'm on Breaking Bad I suppose.

The only flavor I have from them is the ecto cooler and I like it alot. Def want to try more flavors from them. I did try Hawk Sauce at Vapeapooloza but I hate berry flavors so it wasnt my cup of tea. They didnt have much else with them I wanted to try but their prices are fantastic so ill be putting in an order soon.

I start at 10% and go from there.

You might want to try 15% - the MBV website actually says 15-40(!) percent.

I order flavoring as a mixer. It is a better economy for tweaking juice. I also don't order extra shots.

I had several almost empties that I freed up by dumping them into newer bottles of similar or compatible flavors. Now I have enough empties that I can DIY.

How do I replicate the following, which is one of my favorites? I ordered 15 ml Dark Chocolate with one extra shot. It was awful. I ordered 15 ml of Cherry and mixed it with the Dark Chocolate. I call it Choco-Cherry. I have about 3/4 inch left in a 30 ml bottle.

I'm not as compulsive as you, but at the same point. I mean, why not mix your own, when you repeatedly restock on the same juices? Of course, the math doesn't give me a headache, because the nic did.

Speaking of math, here's a good DIY calculator in case you didn't already know it:

E-Juice / E-Liquid Calculator

The only thing I don't like about this calculator is that it doesn't seem to work when you want to make 0 nic juice.

12.25% average in 18mg 70/30 final ratio
almost all work great up to 12.5% but it gets to be all hit and no flavor from there
24mg should get you to about 21mg final so 12%-12.25% should be strong and tasty

This ratio has worked for me with over 40 different MBV/FW flavors

I like my strawberry strong and 15% had no flavor. 13% is right on the edge and 12.75% works

YMMV
