PS - is anyone out here interested in my Pineapple Upside Down Cake (6mg 65/35 +1 Flavor Shot) or Ocean Breeze (6mg 65/35 no shots). I'm really not digging either of them and would rather have them go to a home where they could be enjoyed so I'd happily send em off to you free. I know there's a PIF thread for this kind of thing, but I thought I'd rather offer them up here first so that an MBV fan might take advantage of my generosity. :)

Ocean Breeze has been sitting on my bookshelf for well over a month, even after using a UC to steep and I try a drop every once in awhile and I still get butter-colada.

Cant.....stop....vaping.....Bananas Foster...lol

I really liked MBV's Bananas Foster, but then I tried Ahlusion's at the same time and it blew MBV's version right out of the water (it's less sweet and also has a slight creamy note in the background). Of course, A+ is more expensive, and makes all their own juice extractions, so one might expect it to be better anyway. However, I was actually hoping I'd like them both about the same and could make my $ go farther with MBV's version instead. But then again, I'm a bit of a Fosters Fanatic/snob... I have to try it at every single restaurant I go to that has it on the menu, so my tastes are probably biased as I'm comparing it to some of the best tiramisu at some of the finest restaurants around the country.

YOU GUYS.

Random browsing of the MBV site turned up TIRAMISU. Do want.

(of course, I ordered. yesterday.)

I guess this is one of their new flavors since I once saw it in the sidebar list of new flavors the other day (which isn't showing up now for some reason) so it doesn't yet have any reviews. But like the Fosters above, this is another flavor that I'm in love with over at Ahlusion (also in a 50/50 blend). So I'd like to do a similar taste comparison like I did with the Fosters. I'm fairly certain it'll need a week or two of steep time because the coffee and cocoa are going to overwhelm any creamy notes in the beginning, but I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on it once you try it. I will probably do so soon enough myself to see if it can compete with Ahlusion's version in my book and save me some money. :2c:

As a follow up to my previous post, I just got my order in the mail. I am excited because they all smell great so I am hopeful that they will all be great flavors. The past flavors I have ordered that I did not end up liking(even after steeping) didn't smell good when I first got them. So this order, I have all at 80/20pg/vg at 6 mg.

-Tiramisu
-Banana cream pie
-Udderly Nuts
-Pineapple Upside Down
-Berry Creamy
-Whipped Cream - smells just like the real thing
-Yellow Cake

Another review wall of text...sorry folks. I bought most of these for my sister and her boyfriend, so I ship them off tomorrow :) These are just how I perceive these juices, your experience may vary...

I tested the following juices with a 1.5Ω dripping atomizer:

Cafe Coffee 18mg 50/50: This is unapologetic strong black coffee on the inhale, with a noticeable throat hit. It has the same bitterness as unsweetened coffee, with a slight caramelized sugar sweetness in the exhale. My first impression is a very one-note flavor, but vaping more of it reveals a fuller, richer experience. It took some time for it to settle on my tastebuds, and it is a very strong flavor that will remain in your wicks so requires a dedicated device. I also noticed slightly less vapor production with this flavor than many other 50/50 mixes. If you favor strong black coffee, then this might be for you.

Morning Vape 18mg 50/50: There is no way to dance around this...Morning Vape is a weird vape. The flavor is definitely based in coffee. It is a slightly sweet coffee with the addition of a fruit flavor. Since I taste coffee as bitter, it is difficult for me to exactly identify the fruit flavor but I think it is maraschino cherry. The sweetness hits me in the middle of the tongue, and the fruit note becomes apparent in the exhale. For me personally, the good thing about this mix is that the bitterness is tempered by the sweet. However, I'm sure that this flavor is good for some people, but it's not for me.

I tested the following juices with a 1.7Ω dripping atomizer:

Orange Dream Bar 18mg 50/50: To me, this is a candy orange flavor (much like an orange Life Saver). I only get a slight creaminess in mouth feel, but not a creamy flavor. It is tasty, but to my tastebuds a candy flavor and not a creamy flavor.

Ecto Cooler 12mg 50/50: I've never tasted Ecto Cooler the drink, so I can't compare the vape to the drink. To me, this tastes like a combination of baby aspirin and orange Gatorade. It is orange Gatorade on the inhale and baby aspirin with Gatorade on the exhale. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad or unpleasant, but that's what it tastes like to me. I'm surprised that if this is based on a kid's drink the vape is not overly sweet.

Tangerine 18mg 50/50: This is truly a simple fruit flavor, it is all tangerine on the inhale and the exhale...no candy taste, no added sweetness, and no sour note. It is also light while being flavorful at the same time, if that makes sense. Even though I bought this for someone else, it might be my new favorite true-fruit vape. This goes on the "order again" list.

Blood Orange 12mg 50/50: This flavor is similar to Tangerine in that it is a simple fruit flavor. It is also a true blood orange flavor, without the candy taste or added sweetness. It has the same lightness but full flavor. The only real difference is that in addition to the true-fruit Blood Orange flavor, there is a slight bitterness as well. It's almost as if there is a bit of pith under the rind included in the flavoring, but it is very subtle. This is another juice that goes on my "order again" list.

More to follow soon....

CheriePie and TheWrightStuff-- I don't have much to PIF/trade in return. However, any that you want to send, I'd happily take since I'm growing the boyfriend's stash. I do have some flavoring I could put into 3mL bottles and send along a small bottle of pure un-nic'd VG if you just wanted to try the flavors or use as mix ins. I have Coumarin Pipe, butterscotch tobacco, sour, and bavarian cream.

StoneFace: The verdict is in on my boyfriend's blind taste test of butter pecan-- I ordered it in 15mL at 18mg nic, in 80PG/20VG with five flavor shots. I put that in a larger bottle, added an equal amount of VG to wind up with 30mL at 9mg nic, in 40PG/60 VG at 2.5 flavor shots.

Smell: Smells like buttered popcorn (both boyfriend and I agree with this. Strangely, when it first came in the mail it smelled like butter pecan and SO DELICIOUS. Then I steeped it with the cap off on two separate nights a week apart and it smelled pretty much like butter.)

Taste: According to him: "Tastes like caramel corn-- like Cracker Jacks" and "It's like vaping a mouthful of sugar." <---I know there's one person on this board, and I'm not sure if they're an MBVer or not, who I swear I read once was looking for as much sugar taste as possible. I need to find that person so I can tell them this.
Taste according to me: Sweet, like cotton candy that's been flattened so it's not airy-- just sugary. Also, very peppery, and I don't know why-- the nic level is so low it shouldn't be peppery.

He wants to add more VG to it, so it will be cut down so it's 1 part original 15mL, and 2 parts (thus, 30mL) of VG. Can someone help me with the math on that?

Anyway, he wasn't saying that it was disgusting or awful-- just that it was really strong. I'm hoping this is a good sign for him liking MBV well enough.

I wonder if it might've gotten put on a plane going across the country. (I dunno, does the USPS actually use airplanes for intra-US travel?) But since I can personally vouch for the fact that when exposed to the pressure changes from flying, those bottles can leak a bit anywhere a teensy bit of air can get in.

Thats what I figured, however when I squeezed the bottle i didn't hear anything come out. I guess at altitude the glue separated a bit. The same thing happened on my DIY PG/VG that I gut in yesterday. No big deal like I said it was less than a ml but it does make a mess.

Just placed an order with some restocks of some of my faves, but also some new ones.
Had to try butterscotch since it's raved about so much on here.
I ordered some sticky bun because since I didn't like cinnamon roll, I've heard this is an amazing alternative.
Ordered Big Red because one can't be from the midwest and not love it haha.
Double Apple and Saltwater Taffy, just to see.

I also, once again, tried my hand at MYO.
"Vanilla Cream"
7 parts Vanilla Custard
2 parts Banana
2 parts Graham Cracker
1 part Bavarian Cream
Anyone think this mix will turn out well for me?

That mix sounds really good but for some reason it sounds like you described Banana Cream Pie.

I'm with you @thewritestuff. I like MBV but some of the high rated e-juices have not been good to me. I ordered Cinnamon Bun and let it steep for 3 weeks and I don't like it. Similarly with Graham Cracker, Caramel Coffee, Peanut Butter Cup and White Razz Mocha.

My favorites are so far are Blue Moo, Snickers Type and Spearmint. I am waiting on an order with Whipped Cream to mix into the Caramel Coffee and White Razz Mocha so I hope I like that as a mixer, otherwise, I don't think I will be able to finish the ones I don't like too much.

I also ordered the Tiramisu, yellow cake, banana cream pie and pineapple upside down cake.

Do you sort by highest rated or best seller. Going by highest rated can be tricky. I would say if it only has 2 or 3 reviews and is 5 stars I would probably ask for it as a sampler if its something you really want to try.

You've got the math right. 1 part original (say 15ml) + 2 parts VG (say 30ml)=45ml of juice. Just keep the ratio 1:2 for any size batch. A 30 ml batch would be 10ml original with 20ml VG. A 15ml batch would be 5ml original with 10 ml VG.

Our apologies for sending out an email so quick.
Please read this entire second notice.

VaporAlley saw the recall online. We have not been contacted by Kanger or any other supplier.
DO NOT use ANY eVod battery until we get to the bottom of this. (I don't care what color it is).

When we have more info from Kanger (likely tomorrow/Friday) we will resend you an email with proper instruction on how we will handle returns.

Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience, but regardless...DISCONTINUE using or charging ANY eVod batteries and turn them off, until further notice. (Which will come very soon)

I'm wondering what the ratio would be of nic and pg/vg. okay, let me puzzle this out-- 18mg/3 parts =6mg nic, so that's cool. and if it's 80/20 PG VG, and 40/60 when I had an equal part VG, would it be....it's somewhere between 30/70 pg/vg and 20/80 PG/VG. I'm going to guess it's 25/75 PG/VG but I don't know for certain.

oh, as an aside-- I didn't mix in the 15mL of unflavored VG til last night-- and adding it in before tasting it today didn't seem to weaken the flavor at all (like I feared.) I was unsure if the unflavored VG had to steep with the liquid or if it could just be shook up really well.

Stoneface- Glad to see your review on the blood orange. I have some of that enroute in the DIY flavoring that I want to use on other things. Sounds like it will work for me. Ecto cooler is one of the things I wanted to punch up some. The Dream Orange Bar had some creaminess to me but at first it didn't. Took about 10 days for the creamy part to come through for me.

I would need an ejuice calculator to figure that out. Your guess is in the neighborhood, but if you really want to know Scubabatdan's calculator is a good one. You've definitely got the hang of it, though :thumb: In my experience, the VG will definitely mix better into the juice with some shaking and time. VG definitely benefits from just some time alone.

I let Orange Dream Bar steep for 2 weeks aside from a couple of hour long rides in the Ultrasonic Cleaner...maybe the creaminess will eventually show up, but I thought I gave it a fair shot. Hopefully my sister will like it either way...her tastebuds are worse than mine :D

I made mine with the DIY liquid and adjusted it up a little. That might be the difference or it might just be me.
