Oh I hate those dinky little cups they give you for water!! Especially when they usually give you the whole can if you ask for a ginger ale. Last time I flew a couple weeks ago, I brought my 24 oz water travel mug along (contigo, hold down the big button on the back to drink). Had to empty it before going through security of course but once on the flight, I asked the flight attendant to just pour water right in there instead. Didn't give me a full 24 ounces but about 10, at least more than those stinkin' cups! Plus no spillage and I can store it in the seat pocket to boot.

Do not be afraid to ask for multiple cups of water. At my company all we had were the big ... bottles to pour from. Too much for one person and a limited supply. Flying dehydrates you. I never minded one bit when someone asked for several cups of water. Totally understandable. :)

So, I was wondering. What is the general policy towards vaping on airlines now? I don't fly as much as I used to since I started vaping but so far I've had several flight attendants that were fine with it and asked me about it and only one that said I couldn't do it. got an insanely long flight next week, I usually stealth it but do you know if they have banned it yet?

Unfortunately, most airlines banned it pretty much right away. (In fact, they may all have.) Smoking onboard has been SO stigmatized that they wasted absolutely no time banning ecigs.

I would have to take two weeks off just in driving. Show up at my friends house and have to leave after dinner.

Just quit your job, it would be worth it.

I did the Homer theater digital install a few years ago but worked the whole time and didn't get to enjoy being there very much because we were rushed and I had to get back to GA for another job. Always wanted to go back on my own time, it is so beautiful there.

That's pretty much what I figured but I think I have only heard one airline so far include e-cigs in their spiel about not smoking. I'll just stealth it and hit the restroom if I have to.

Don't tell on me...............please ;)

I lived in Fairbanks for 8 years, dad was military. It was a great childhood.

Ordered an emergency mod, kanger protank, cinnamon bun, and a no nic vg max whipped cream to water down this 24nic all pg pie spice I got. All on the 22nd. And it's out for delivery in Brooklyn NY to my companies warehouse today. Talk about fast. Got a call in with receiving to intercept my package from security before the suits question my personal mail. Should be able to pick it up Friday or Saturday. And this will hold me over till I get off the boat to go home in a couple weeks. All is right with the world!

Organized an MBV shipment, very Bane-like. “Courts will be convened. Spoils will be enjoyed. Blood will be shed. The police will survive as they learn to serve true justice. This great city, it will endure. Gotham will survive.” Great movie.

Shop with caution. My card was frozen this morning with fraudulent charges. Out of the couple companies I order from and contacted, these guys were the only ones to generalize a message that completely disregarded the issue at hand. They made it clear there is no plan to investigate issues at the card processing end. For now, I'm moving on.

It's funny isn't it? The old habbits are so hard to break, which is what amazes me about vaping. I found myself looking for my lighter the other day, and when I asked her if she'd seen it she said "I didn't know you had to light your spinner before you used it" It was just habbit. I can't even tell you why I was looking for it, I just was. For me it was Marlboro Special blend and for her it was the same brand and size as you Terre, but she was a little over 2 packs a day...alomst to 3  Both of us smokers for over 24 years. If we'd only knew how easy it was..........
I've been vaping for almost 3 months now, and I still haven't taken the cigar punch off of my key ring yet. I don't plan to smoke any more cigars, but I would feel like something was missing if I took it off..

Sorry this happened to you, it's not good and seems to be happening more and more often. Judge Dredd started a thread, and we are hoping to get some answers from it. Please post there as well: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/433092-card-fraud.html

I certainly hope all of our vendors would take this problem seriously. I've started checking my bank website daily...

Huh....that really stinks about your card. It *seems* like we'd have a lot more people reporting the problem in this thread if it were MBV, because a lot of us use them to the exclusion of all others.

But who knows. They probably use the same company as a lot of other vendors and so are vulnerable to the same problems.

I'm sorry to hear that and MBV's response. I hope you get it cleared up. :(

Oooh, good luck with your meeting. Just finding out the particulars of your future with them, or? And thank you very much. :)
Yea they called today to tell me we were having a teacher meeting Monday . It is just to hear from the administrator what they told me yesterday and go over specifics. Bittersweet as not everyone will be retained. Going from like 9 in the big building down to four. During the call they solidified the certainty of me being retained as my attendance is needed at a banquet Friday to honor the returning teachers.

My bank was much more cooperative, that's for sure. There have been other reports of only shopping with MBV and getting cards stolen, but the threads get closed.

I know it sucks, overall. And you're a bit shell shocked, understandably, but this is really great news. The job market is SO volatile right now. As you move forward, try to embrace the positives. The biggest one being that you're not losing your job. *hugs*

Please keep us updated about how it all goes and what you find out. We're all behind you. :)
