Just wanted to reiterate that strawberry, sugar cookie, and whipped cream, mixed equal parts in a tank is a spot on strawberry shortcake.....seriously good stuff!! oh, and my usual 6mg. 65PG/35/VG, 2 flavor shots each. My flavors have been much better since cutting down to 6mg. YMMV

Ratio of each? Por Favor.

Speakig of stepping down the nic, how hard is/was it for everyone? I first started in July at 24mg, quickly realized it was making me sick and got down to 12mg. I suspect I could cut that in half again but I have over 30 bottles of 12mg from MBV now.

I was a PAD on Malboro Lights 100's and tried 18,12, and 6 I couldn't handle the hit on anything but the 6 from the get go.
I do have 0nic on hand at all times because I am a serious chain vaper like 6-10ml a day I found that even with only 6mg I was not able to fall asleep so 0nic after 8 and I usually have a tank of 0nic for the occasional puff throughout the day.

I have absolutely no desire to ever stop vaping but would love to get 0nic full time. I am sure I could but I have too much juice to justify it right now plus 2-8oz btls of 36mg nic base for DIY

My story exactly. I think I'll stay at 12 for a while. And I'm in CT too! :)

You may be suprised on what 6 will do for you especially if you vape a lot. If the nic level in your blood is maintained close to the levels of when you smoked analogs you shouldn't feel any cravings, some folks start off high in the morning and step down throughout the day.

BTW what part of CT? I grew up in Southington before the Navy moved me all over.

So i placed my first order with mt baker vapor on tuesday at 3pm. at 5:30 i got an email saying the order had shipped. it was out for delivery on thursday and here at high noon! now thats from the state of washington to southern rural kentucky that fast with just first class mail??? hard to believe! I ordered 3 diy flavors as well as several 15ml bottles of ejuice. i've decided to let the mixed stuff steep a good few days. BUT i have this diy kit that i been messing around with for a month using TFA flavors. nothing has tasted good at all even after steeping. cant really identify any of them. yes im using recipes. so i gave up. thought id give it one more go with mt baker vapor diy flavors. so i mixed a 50/50 pg/vg 6mg ry4 at 15% flavor. i just couldnt wait to steep. man its great!!! i been vapin it like the vape monkey all day! just mixed a 30ml bottle the same and plan to let it steep. hope its vapable at the end of the week....vrey happy with them for sure!

You may want to try mixing at 12.5% flavor, Mogli (a regular poster inhere) suggested that and I have to concur with him. Add 2% at a time after that if you want more flavor but 12.5 works pretty good.

Also if you have any sample bottles say 3-6ml you may want to try small batch recipes to find out what works so if you totally botch a batch you are only out a few ml vice 15.

AS for me I just got my first mech's in the mail from a HC co-op (shout out to the two wonderful woman that ran it) and built up my first Dual coil setup on the iGo-W. 1 ohm nothing crazy but my God dual coil is the way to go fo sho! :vapor:

Im down to 6 nic but I have no intentions of quitting. What would I do at night when i finally get to sit down? I tell ya what stuff my face! At least now if I want something sweet I can vape me some peanut butter cup in stead of eating one. I do find that I rarely vape during the day much but after seven at nite is a different story.

i am with ya there. i plan on vaping til i go to the great vape in the sky. ::angel:

I can only attest to the Butterscotch (good right away but better in a week) and ODB(meh right away, OK after a week, Pretty dang good after 2 weeks)

I added some whipped cream to mi ODB because I was tasting alot of orange and not much cream, added some whipped and it was pretty tasty.

I actually got somewhat caught up too..

no plans to quit vaping here.. I use a lot of no nic.. somehow I knew that I was going to be a chain vaper.. even though I was not a chain smoker.. I ordered tons of flavors.. lots with no nic cuz I KNEW that if I tried everything with nic I was going to poison myself.

<--- needs nap.. not gonna get one.. must get up from PC (even though I just got here) or I'll doze off and not get my critters fed and put in their respective dwellings for the night.

then there will be some vaping before my eyes slam shut

Get used to charging batteries more often with dual coil, and I hope you understand the inherent risk of mechanicals and batteries. What mechanical did you get BTW?

Dear Kelli,
You have very pretty feet, do you vape with your toes? But I would rather look at your very pretty face instead :)

i could in fact probably vape with my toes if i wanted because they are prehensile. (i call them monkey toes) but it's rather inconvenient.

and thank you for the compliment :)

I can offer you some info on MBV tobaccos, but have NEVER used Tobacco Pure so I'm not sure it'll help much  I use MBV tobacco juice and find it pleasant. Remeber, TASTE IS SUBJECTIVE!!! The first thing, ALL of their Tobacco juice require alot of steep time, some of them UP TO A MONTH... to reach their full potential. What you may taste and smell initially (the maple syrup thingy) WILL change. HOWEVER.....almost ALL of their tobacco's DO NOT HAVE a traditional analog tobacco flavor....they tend to be more of a fine dominican cigar type tobacco.... If you have never smoked a good Dominican (Arturo Fuente, Partagas, Punch, Ghurka, etc.) it is understandable that you would have trouble identifying the flavor which I think is why alot of the reviews on their tobacco's are off. Most of their tobacco's have a very rich, nutty, undertone that is traditional with a Dominican...very smooth....with a warm, leathery, taste. I ALWAYS keep their 555 and RY4 on hand and find them VERY good as an evening vape after doing all the other wonderful flavors they have all day. Some people have described the taste of their tobacco as "licorice" like.....as this develops it becomes the Dominican taste that is desirerd by cigar smokers. As I stated earlier......they take awhile to steep. I've found the 555 is very good after about 2 weeks...the RY4 is a MONTH. The 555 is slightly sweet, with a very rich nutty flavor over the top with a hint of caramel in the background and the rich tobacco dominating...easily an ADV for tobacco lovers and closer to a traditional RY4 type flavor. :vapor: The RY4 on the other hand is a VERY COMPLEX BEAST  It is by no means a traditional RY4, but after the long steep to me, it is TRULY rewarding  The Dominican tobacco taste is strong in this one! The caramel, vanilla, and SOMETHING ELSE (maybe licorice) that I cannot put a finger on blends WONDERFULLY with it....it quickly becomes an addiction...but due to its' complexity..IS NOT FOR EVERYONE..:| Keep in mind as I mentioned before...TASTE IS SUBJECTIVE and YMMV. I hope this gives you a general idea of the MBV tobacco's. Steeping them IS required...so if you do try them be prepared to show them LOTS of love before you can get their full potential. Good luck! :toast:

Wow thank you so much for the detailed advice paleodian!! This is really helpful. I've only been vaping a few months so I'm still learning all this stuff..I just recently ordered the 555 so I'll give that a whirl. I'm just looking for an all day vape similar to an anolog (minus the nastiness of course). I've ordered a lot of fruity and specialty flavors for at night when I'm just chillin....

Your post is informative and pointing me in the right direction...thanks so much for the info.:)

Well. I'm very limited on my vaping at work. I have 30 minutes of break and a 30 minute lunch. I drink such crazy amounts of water that about 20 minutes of my break time goes to bathroom breaks lol. I do sneak vapes in the bathroom though. So I fear moving to 6mg at work may make me flip the F out on someone. But outside of work I chain vape like nobody's business. I debated getting some in 12 and some 6 but I can't decide what would be what. I may just start to order everything in 6 except for the only two true ADVs I've found that will carry me through a work day, Sugar Cookie and Bavarian Cream. Just keep two Protanks designated for those at work in 12 and go nuts on 6 in everything else after that. Eventually I'll get to 0mg but I'm in no rush.

I live live in Fairfield, but my house was hit pretty hard during Hurricane Sandy and isn't finished yet, so I've been in Stratford for nine months (going nuts at boyfriend's mom's house)
