Can someone explain the flavor shot thing to me? Is a shot a certain amount or a percentage?

In other words, if I ordered a 15ml bottle with one shot, and like it so want to order a 30ml bottle of the same flavor, would one flavor shot be the same, or would I need two for twice the liquid?

I need a bigger bottle of Sugar Cookie and I don't want to end up disappointed!

Each shot from MBV increases the flavoring by 2%. A 15ml bottle and 30ml bottle should not taste different as long as you are getting the same ratio of PG/VG.

50/50 @ 12mg, no extra shots. This was my first order, so I didn't want to skew the results by adding flavor.

It's been steeping with the cap off for five days, no change in flavor.

The fluid itself smells a lot like nutmeg. I dripped a bit of it and it still has that odd flavor, not even remotely close to custard.
It's definitely not the worst fluid I've ever tasted, but it's going byebye if it doesn't improve with steeping.
IMO most of MBV's juices when mixed at 50/50 could use an extra shot, possibly even two, as the flavoring tends to gets drowned out by the VG. And this is particularly true with the milder flavors like you're talking about here, whether it was custard or eggnog I kinda forget, but both of those being on the milder side.

If it doesn't work out for you, and you don't want to try mixing it up with more flavors yourself, I'm sure there's a DIY'er out here who'd be happy to take it off your hands.

Hope that Black Clove eventually works out for you Cherie! I'd feel bad if it didn't.
No worries hon. Even if the anise/Dominican flavoring is still a bit too strong for me when it's done steeping, I have some of MBV's regular Clove e-liquid as well so I should be able to doctor it up with that to taste more like my old Djarum Blacks.

I got 555 in the mail today. To me it has a nutty taste with a hint of tobacco at the end. I like it a lot and can't wait to see how it ends up after it steeps a couple weeks.
I recently traded with Stratman for this one. I'm not much of a tobacco girl myself--there's only a handful of em I like and I usually require the tobacco take a back seat to whatever other sweetness is going on--so I got it for my Mom, whom I recently converted from a PAD smoker down to only about 3-5 analogs a day now. (Go me! :thumb: ) She seems to be favoring the NETs from HHV to keep her off the stinkies so far, but I couldn't resist the temptation to snag this 555 for her too since I've heard so many good things about it out here. (I'm going to get her a step up to 18 in her favorite Shadow for the mornings as that's when she's got the craving for an analog the worst.) But I'd like to see how she likes this 555 too, for a non-NET alternative.

BTW Stratman, your package finally went out today. Sorry for the delay, it's been a stressful week round here, but I did include an extra little surprise too. :)

Agreed! I have found that at 50/50 and 12mg. or higher, 2 flavor shots is just right. Even at 6mg. I'm still needing those 2 extra shots on most juices. Two exceptions that I can think of right off the top of my head are strawberry and peach. They are both quite strong, leading me to believe that maybe other single fruit flavors are strong enough without a flavor shot, or maybe just 1.

my first mbv order came fast this week. A Kanger EVOD (didn't realize it was a clone, still great though), 15ml each of 65/35 each with the flavor drops most recommended by the reviews
Banana Cream Pie 24mg 3 flavor drops Loving it, but wish had more cream taste
Peanut Butter 18mg 2 flavor drops. Letting it steep right now. Amazing vapor but just feels like the flavor isn't there yet, good though.
Ecto Cooler 18mg 1 flavor drop it is an ecto cooler like I remember (basically tangerine). wish the TH was less, buy then I don't prefer the TH most do, good vapor, very refreshing.
And nicely upon my request they sent bottle of their Tiramisu, 16mg no flavor drops, and I could tell from smell and a drop on my finger it needed to steep so I'm waiting on that.

I'll be ordering again for sure. Really want to try the hawk juice everyone raves about.

The EVOD from MBV should be the real deal, right? Can anyone else confirm or correct me?

Here is the thing, it was my first EVOD. However the day it arrived, I also discovered the new Supreme Nicotine store down the road from me was actually a vape shop (thought it was discount cigs). I went there and since dog broke one of my CE6 the previous day, I wound up buying an EVOD from them too.

This is how they differ.
The silver one from the shop actually says EVOD BCC on it and side by side looks like the tank itself is about a sewing needle (what is that about half or a millimeter) larger.
The purple one from MBV besides being that slightly smaller, not saying EVOD on it, also produces less vapor, slightly more airy, and gets condensation in the mouth piece constantly. The vapor (and possibly the condensation could be juice related). did maybe the shop have a different ohm in it? I don't know. Paid a lot more though (needed it, and except for that, there store was very reasonably priced) 18 compared to 5.

Next time I go into the store I'm getting a pro tank, only 24$, and their cinnamon bun juice (I thought I just ate a cinnabun)

I don't know about the size difference of your devices, however, I do have some genuine Kanger eVods that came from Kanger in a CoOp. My eVods just arrived a few weeks ago, and they do not have any writing or engraving on them. All of my eVods have always had condensation form in the mouthpiece (drip tips will often accumulate condensation when using a carto tank or a carto as well).

In my opinion, $18 for an eVod or $24 for a ProTank is robbery. Discount Vapers has much better prices than that, even with shipping.
