I don't know about the size difference of your devices, however, I do have some genuine Kanger eVods that came from Kanger in a CoOp. My eVods just arrived a few weeks ago, and they do not have any writing or engraving on them. All of my eVods have always had condensation form in the mouthpiece (drip tips will often accumulate condensation when using a carto tank or a carto as well).

In my opinion, $18 for an eVod or $24 for a ProTank is robbery. Discount Vapers has much better prices than that, even with shipping.

I was thinking only the silver had EVOD writing on it maybe. I know 18 is high, but needed it, and they probably going to give me free coils next time I'm in so whatever.

As for the pro tank, I always see it in mid 20s plus shipping.

Agreed! I have found that at 50/50 and 12mg. or higher, 2 flavor shots is just right. Even at 6mg. I'm still needing those 2 extra shots on most juices. Two exceptions that I can think of right off the top of my head are strawberry and peach. They are both quite strong, leading me to believe that maybe other single fruit flavors are strong enough without a flavor shot, or maybe just 1.

My first order was 50/50 18mg and the grape and pear are kind of disappointing. Prolly need at least 1 flavor shot, maybe more.

I have 8 EVODs now and can most assuredly say that the ones from MBV are genuine Kanger. I have 2 clones from FastTech among those 8 and one of the most easily discernible differences between the genuine and the clones is that the genuines have 3 air holes along the bottom while the clones have only 2. I don't have etching on any of mine, including the genuines, which came from various places including MBV, EmpireMods, DiscountVapers, and AquaVaporCig.

Another major differences is in the wicks and the coil on the clones. On the clones, the coil head is much lesser quality overall and with the 2 FastTech clones I have, I had to replace the heads after only a couple tanks due to leaks. There's also an extra o-ring/sealer/gasket (I'm not sure exactly what it is other than a clear silicone piece that sits on one of the ridges of the clone head) on the clones. And finally, but not always, the threading on the clones is a bit rougher. We got the 10 pack of clones from FastTech and split it between my mom, sister, and I, so I've seen some that have held up better than others when it came to the clone coil heads.

Finally, several of my EVODs, both clones and non, leave condensation in the tips. That seems totally dependent on the juice and the wattage I'm vaping it at.

I didn't discern any height difference between the genuines and the clones when placing them next to each other... but I didn't take a tape measure to them either so if there's a millimeter or two difference, I might not have noticed. I'll try to measure them later to verify. I don't know why you'd see a height difference if they're both genuine however. And unless MBV's supplier is duping them, and their most recent stock contained clones, the one I ordered from them on 7/19 (and received a few days after that) is definitely a genuine. HTH :)

PS I have 2 stainless steel ones, a genuine and a clone, neither has the etching.

PPS the clones will often have a machine oil taste to them (you can sometimes but not always smell it too) and need to be either boiled or soaked in everclear or the like to get that taste out before you use it the first time, otherwise your juice will taste kinda icky.

Just a quick "wow" about my MBV order I received yesterday.

In the notes section, I asked for a Dutch Apple Pie sample if possible, due to some reviews here about how great it is. After I hit submit, I noticed that on their site, it was unavailable and quickly realized that sample just wasn't going to happen. If fact, it is still out of stock this morning.

I open up my order from yesterday and look at the sample bottle to see what flavor got put in my sample.....Lo and behold...Dutch Apple Pie, in the same mg and mixture as the rest of my order. Not only that, but the "Dutch Apple Pie" on the standard MBV label was hand-written. To me, that says they went way out of their way to get the sample I wanted, and that just reinforces what awesome opinions I already had about MBV.

And yeah, the Dutch Apple Pie, vapes great right out of the mail, but I have a feeling in a week or so its going to be unbelievable.

Thanks MBV!

Dutch Apple Pie is one of my faves. I've noticed that it gets sweeter as time goes by...which I love!

THIS!!!! Everything Cherie said is true. I have 12 EVODS, all original Kanger and no etching. ALL get condensation on the tips...it's just their nature I think. However, Kanger has come out with an EVOD 2, that is basically the same EVOD, but with a replaceable drip tip. They have them on FastTech now and will be available in the states soon. Just my :2c:

I've bought evods from my vapor store as well as MBV and the only difference is the price. 2 bucks cheaper at MBV, I actually kinda thought i was buying clones because they sell them so cheap. 4 bucks is only a dollar more than fast tech for a single. They all have no etchings and both work great

Anyone know where to buy the 1.5 coils for them? DIY coiling wrapping makes my head hurt just reading about it!

You know, I've never seen anything lower than 1.8ohm offered for the EVOD's. Alhough both my boxes of 5 packs do have an option for 1.5ohm on it, maybe that only applies to the MT3's, which also use the same box according to the list of items which can be checked off.

I know they're going to a longer post universal coil now that'll fit all their clearomizers (Protank, Evod, and I think even T3/MT3 too though not positive on the last). I haven't tried them personally since I don't have any of the new Protanks yet (holding out for the co-op) but paleodian just told me the new coils from the mini protank actually work really great on the EVOD. :thumb:

That said, if you're looking to specifically get some of the original shorter post ones now, before all vendors sell out and only stock the new ones, and you're willing to settle for 1.8 (since I think that's as low as they go anyway), then AquaVaporCig still has them. $6.95 for a 5 pack. I just picked up a couple boxes for me, mom, and sister so I know they're still the original ones. Most vendors that have the new style coil heads are listing them as Protank/EVOD coils. Even though we all know the original EVOD coils worked just fine in the Protank, and as some would say, even better since they tightened up the airy draw. Oh yeah, here's the link: https://www.aquavaporcig.com/EVOD-BCC-Replacement-Coils.html

PS - I usually go for the 2.2ohm myself...

speaking of 1.8ohm EVOD coils, what good are they? =) when used on my twist, i have to reduce the voltage all the way down to 3.2, and still feel like i cant find the sweet spot.

i unknowingly ordered a 5-pack of 1.8s, realized the problem, then i had a mixture of 1.8s and 2.5s in my EVODs and didnt know which was which, so every time i changed tanks, i was all screwed up. (have since measured them all, know which is which, and bought two 5-packs of 2.5s so i can flush out the 1.8s)

Are any of these good

berry creamy
demon energy
gummy bear
butter pecan

Where did moo juice go? I was planning on getting that in this order

I have only tried the Butter Pecan and like it. Its not that sweet and I go to it when I need something more then sweet or fruity flavors. Their toasted almond is good for that also. Just a good mellow vape.

only one of those i have had is root beer and i love it. i get one extra shot and also get 18 nic, but i do 65/35. i don't know what are the top sellers, but i can tell you my faves are the aforementioned root beer, cinnamon roll, sticky bun, caramel candy, butterscotch, mudslide and peanut butter. i really would never need anything else, except maybe some whipped cream or sweet cream for a mixer. :) hope that helped.

Has anyone tried their bubble gum.....Juicy fruit gum.....or Root beer ? do they need extra flavor shots to be good in 50/50 with 18 nic ?

Also, which are their all time best sellers/favorites from reading these posts ? (too many posts for me to read)

My suggestion: go to the site and sort juice by average customer review. This is how I pick new things. Hawk Sauce and Cinnamon Roll are very popular, and both pretty good. Not MY favorites, but I will definitely continue to buy Cinnamon Roll and probably Hawk Sauce too.

Thug juice is popular, but it's VERY menthol. Way more than I expected. I received it two weeks ago and still working on the same 2.4ml T3S I filled that day.

Ecto Cooler seems popular but I haven't bitten the bullet on it yet, because I've yet to find a citrus I love so I don't have high hopes for it. One day I will try it and hopefully I'll be surprised.

There's so many flavors I get overwhelmed. I personally went through and just added anything of interest to my wish list, when it's time for an order, I just go to my wish list and pick off that.

root beer is the shiz. i get no shots and its over the top. reported tank cracker so have your protank ready, altho i've used it in an EVOD with no issues.

i'll x2 that butter pecan is not very sweet, at least didnt seem so to me, altho my taste buds are pretty effed up at the moment. thinking about adding a bottle of sweetener to my next order.

blue moo was one of my first flavors ever, and it is awesome, definitely reccommend a try, it does get hard to vape after a while but nothing wrong with that. huge amazing blueberry flavor.

you guys like black clove? recieved it as a sample, i do get a hint of the kind of clove that you bake with, but its a fairly muted flavor, the overall juice tastes like nothing much to me, a little bit sweet.. i found that about 90% black clove and 10% blue moo stretches out your blue moo a long way =)

IMO most of MBV's juices when mixed at 50/50 could use an extra shot, possibly even two, as the flavoring tends to gets drowned out by the VG. And this is particularly true with the milder flavors like you're talking about here, whether it was custard or eggnog I kinda forget, but both of those being on the milder side.

If it doesn't work out for you, and you don't want to try mixing it up with more flavors yourself, I'm sure there's a DIY'er out here who'd be happy to take it off your hands.

There's not really an overpowering VG taste to it, though. In fact, my 'freebie' was an 80/20 of vanilla custard @ 12mg, and it tastes exactly the same. I've got a couple of friends that love Coke/Pepsi, so I'm going to give them both a bottle and see what they think.

Vanilla custard aside, all of the other flavors that I ordered are fantastic.

Sticky bun, graham cracker, and whipped cream are total keepers. Like you mentioned, though, whipped cream is a very light flavor that needs an extra shot or two.
