Maple Pecan is pretty heavy to me so I'm surprised you can't taste that...even with no steeping.
Folks here have recommended Thug juice for palate cleansing so the menthol you're vaping should help.
...so that sucks about the vapors tongue. Keep guzzling that water. That should help too.

I can smell it fine and can tell from that, that it is a strong flavor and I normally always get 2 extra shots due to the VG level I get, but just can't really taste anything that has any distinctive taste, this is the 2nd time I've had Vapor's Tongue, 1st time it took 4 days to go away and now it's back again, hopefully it will not last as long.

I may have to give that a try. That's a BIG bottle of juice to go to waste! I ordered it exactly the same way as the first one..not sure what is going on. 50/50 with 1 shot.

That's pretty much how I order all of mine from them, but I find I'm having the same problem with pretty much all of them (but moreso the butterscotch) with the exception of caramel apple and cinnamon roll, which have both steeped over a month. Could very well be my tastebuds, but my juices from 3 other vendors (nicoticket, BWB and 5 pawns) aren't giving me this trouble, so I just don't know. Really bums me out, especially given the price difference.

Try adding a drop at a time of unflavored to a few ml of that butterscotch.

It sounds like it's over flavored.

I had a bad case of vapor's tongue a few weeks back and it also lasted for about 4 days!! Everything tasted like butter....or just greasy maybe. It does suck!! I just kept brushing my teeth and my tongue and finally some Solar Flare kind of cured it...or it just ran its course. Sometimes I think it happens when I vape like a dragon!! Hope yours goes away soon!!

At least I can taste the menthol and actually some strong orange, but that's about it for now and considering my newest batch of juices were just born on 8/5 I am just going to let them steep and not bother trying them until I locate my taste buds, I think they went on strike for being overly abused!

Wow I will never catch back up on the pages of activity through my inactivity, ku raze E. Back on the sticky bun train. It has had about 18 days steep. Was really good before but now, almost indescribable. Came home this evening from a faculty dinner and put a t-shirt on was wearing before I left and it smelled just like a sticky bun. My oldest daughter came home from a friends today and informed me her build a bear panda smelled like my juice. I asked her if it stank and she says no way it smells great. Something she never said back in the days of the analogs.

Stepped my vaping game up and got a GG and a K101 this week. Built my first sub ohm, .8 to be exact, after work today with my .8 kanthal ribbon. Knock my socks of clouds and flavor.Down to 6mg exclusively. Pretty proud to be down that far from 24 as before midnight was officially 8 week anniversary. I am still stalking the site and thread but super busy. Prepping to place my first MBV order in what seems like an eternity on the 15th. Vanilla cupcake, surprise grape, and J Chimpo are whats in the chamber.

Yes, thats the smok clone epipe from fasttech. And a churchwarden stem from epipemods.com. Oh, and the tank is from fasttech as well. It's the mega dual coil carto tank amizer thing. I bought 4 mods, and I'm liking this one the best. Probably because the others don't let me get my Gandalf on. Thats Cinnamon roll in the tank.

my MBV mail was sposed to be here today, but after checking the tracking, the USPS sent it about 400 miles out of the way. yesterday it was only 80 miles from me, today it's 400. dorks.

If I hear on national news in the next couple of days that a postman mysteriously got shot, I should be able to figure out who did it

Now is a great time to use up those not so great e-liqs that you didn't like the taste of. You still get the nic, and if you can't taste them, perhaps that is a good thing

Mt. Baker is now the only supplier I order my juices fom. 236ml for30 something dollars is insanely cheap and I have finally found my all day vape. Can't wait until they are back in stock with my particular flavor. Use a mini Vivi on a Caravela with 2.2ohms and it rocks. Best customer service and my order arrives the next day. Took me a few orders to find my perfect juice but since then I'm hooked.

Right out of the mail: Great! Wow, a really bold in your face wintergreen, with an ever so slight cranberry. Not what I expected, wanted a little more cranberry, but the wintergreen taste is fantastic.
After a week steep: Meh. It's funny how flavors change so quickly. There have been a few juices that I thought tasted better fresh than steeped at all; this is one. The flavors have gotten a little muted, and just don't seem to blend well. Back on the shelf with it.
Couple more weeks:Wow. Tastes fantastic! Still not an overwhelming wintergreen taste like when it was fresh, but it's melded together incredibly. The cranberry and wintergreen compliment each other very nicely in this one, just the right amount of each now. These are 2 flavors that seem like they were made to go together. So I will definitely reorder this one again, have a tank right out of the mail, then put it away for a few weeks.

I've tried some flavors from TFA and everything ends up really dry, if that makes sense. thanks for the help

MBV uses a lot of Flavor West flavorings (but not exclusively), and most of their mixes start between 10 and 12%. Hope that helps...
