This is a random observation that has nothing to do with MBV.

Does it drive anyone else crazy when you find a vendor who fails at basic math? I cannot wrap my brain around vendors that sell small bottles very inexpensively, and then don't take into account that you can get more juice for less money by ordering small bottles than by ordering a big one.

Just found a site where 6ml bottles are $2.49. 15ml? $7.49. Save two cents and get 3 extra ml of juice...

So, another reason to love MBV - James & co can do basic math, and when you order a big bottle, you are ACTUALLY saving money.

Yup, I watched hers so many times that I didn't even need to watch it while I was actually doing it. Very good, detailed video. :)

And I think I won the "who is up the latest" game.....I didn't just get up, I haven't yet been to bed.

sadly i'll be up until about 1230 EST, and do it all again on 3.5 hours sleep LOL. SEE WHY I NEED MY juice?!

And it steeps quicker also!
Of course, it might be that they are OK at math, and the bigger bottles cost more than 2 of the little ones. Hard to say what is going through a retailers mind when they are pricing things. I know that my pricing was based on math, the market, and how I felt at the time I set the price.
I have also sold more of things by upping the price, and have sold less when the price was lowered. The buying public isn't sane, so you have to have a little insanity when your merchandising things.

Also, the product isn't that expensive. I just did the math last night, and my cost on 30ml of DIY is now less than a dollar per 30ML (including a 30ml dripper bottle for .14 ). What your paying for is knowledge (how to make the recipes) and convenience (don't need to mix it yourself).

This is truly a marketers wet dream right now. But you are also paying for reputation, and perceived value.

Oh oh oh, I want to be post #12189...

Nice Mike, im right at .80 for a 10 ml bottle, but that's because I over paid for my first nic, pg and vg run.

@ohia can you pm me the name of that store? I like sampling different juices and 2.49 per sample bottle sounds like a good deal. If I can get three bottles with shipping for the price of two packs of smokes, I think that's a good trade off.

About to make my first mtb order of a few flavors and a few of their premix. I haven't gotten into tobacco's yet and thought I would start with them.

On lark I had ordered Pink Champagne in a 15 ml....let it sit for ten days and tried it today. WOW! I have never had champagne so I can't do a comparison but this has just the right amount of sweetness to it. I honestly can't tell what the flavors are like but its good!

Hate that I only got the 15 ml but in the past whenever I tried a new flavor in the 30 ml I never liked it. But I have added it to my reorder list. The Faux Hawk is ok but I really can't wait til the real stuff is back.

Next order is going to include new flavors...chime in if you tried them....

Cherry Limeade
Ice Tea
USA Blend (gonna finally give their tobacco flavors a try ...I want something mellow?
Spring Break
Solar Flare (I was wondering if this had a strong menthol flavor or just a little like Hawk Sauce?)

I have a ways to go before I've spent what my counter says I've saved. I've maybe spent half of that. The good news is the counter keeps going up. The less I spend now, the more I have to spend later. Or, forget the counter all together.....not smoking makes it all good!!

The counters don't subtract what you spend vaping. My guess is around half of what my counter says (I bought mostly juice).

good to know! I'm vaping Blu-Moo right now.....always a good morning choice!.....and I finally got to sleep at 5 a.m. The sky was getting light. Most nights I'm up all night....just how I roll since I don't have to go to work. Don't know why I've been awake since 8 a.m. today after only 3 hrs. sleep, but I am. Power nap later!!

roonies... don't do it! red licorice and whipped cream is meh. the licorice is too strong, so you can't really taste the whipped cream. it kinda just makes it red licorice with slight cream on the exhale. it's not bad, but i prefer the two flavors separate.

I can't weigh in on the first 4 flavors you list, but Solar Flare is INTENSE....in an awesome way!! It's very citrus based with what I perceive to be a menthol or sour top note rather than mint. It'll blow your socks off.....it's that good if you like strong flavor!! To me it tastes just like the candy Smartees on the inhale, grapefruit on the exhale.....others will probably tell you different! It's a great palate cleanser also, for those times the dreaded vapor tongue strikes! Let us knowhow you like the others!

I may have erroneously posted that James said the juice had a one year shelf life. I could have sworn I read an interview he gave where he stated that. I'll have to look that interview up again. I wonder about freezing too, not that I'll have any of my juices around long enough to worry about it.....unless I keep ordering the way I have been that is
There are some other threads in the Ejuice section that mention the lifespan of liquids and storage options. I spent quite a lot of reading time over in that part of the forum, and there is some great information to be found. I wouldn't say that you were wrong in your post at all, but here's one of James' responses on the "official" thread:
That is a suggested date. It is not like it will go bad exactly at the year mark. I must say I found some three year old juice the other day from back when our labels just had flavor names and we used orange lids. Yuk!

However the post you linked from James did not state that he actually tried the eliquid. He just mentioned old (three years), labels, and orange lids.

Maybe his "Yuk" comment was based on memories of a time long passed, and left not so fond memories ;) The comment could of even been based on the nic base they were using at the time and not based on the actual flavor as compared to when it was freshly made.

Only James can say for sure.

i have a bad habit of filling a tank half way, then adding some of this, dumping half, adding more of that. Lol.

Actually, the important part is at the beginning of the quote regarding the possibility of juice only being "good" for a year....
