I'm sorry but point of fact is that there is a support
thread that your type of post would have been more appropriate in.
It's interesting on how someone can perceive those in a particular
thread as being as you call it a "Fanboi" or a "fan with a reason" strange comment to say the least.
Do you still not understand the distinction? Not a strange comment at all, though perhaps confusing to you.
Again, the plain fact is that you make off handed comments that are and were better served in the support
thread! And don't think that there is not a majority of us that were disappointed that some of their favorite juices were out of stock. However the fact of the matter is that in life and business "Crap Happens" if you wish to be a fair weather customer, that is your choice, but to make positive comments and then at the end of it make statements that you will take your business elsewhere in the same post doesn't show much rational, it's like a threat that if in 24 hours they better have what you want or your going elsewhere, just how do you think that looks. Again, those statements are better served in the support thread wherein the vendor can respond, or perhaps that was your intent! You can post in here all you want and make those comments however that is not going to accomplish anything other then to wonder what the heck your intent or motivation is!
Sorry! My intent was to voice an opinion regarding their stock of juices, which, despite your conflicting claim that it is allowed, is being treated with hostility. I stand by the fanboi designation.
They stated it would all be well by the end of August. Here we are well into September with huge stock issues; this is giving 24 hours in ADDITION to six weeks. Many have already given up and left, I am holding out a last strand of hope because I really do want them to come through.
Their not having half their juice for over a month is absolutely relevant in a thread title MBV in the e-liquid forum.
However, if I am going to address anything directly to the vendor I should do so in a thread in which they can respond. Point received.
And as a side not, everyone in here is well aware of the fact that this in a forum and not a fanboi site, there's that word again, however, did you perhaps take note of the Thread Section Name? We'll I'll be it's "mtbakervapor"!!!
The title of the thread is Mt. Baker Vapor ... so why are thoughts about their juice stock not relevant? Ohh, because you didn't agree with me.
And as you wanted to try and make some point of this being a forum, take into account that there are also other forum sections for both Positive and Negative reviews.
Your closing comments in your initial post just made the post seem more like a threat then anything constructive. We are all aware of the issues, do we like the fact they had issues with stock, NO, but you most certainly don't see a vast majority of us making hollow threats about going else where. Again, this is your choice, your entitled to your opinions as are each and every one of us.
Maybe you don't see similar comments because people are rather ruthlessly attacked if they voice something that isn't glowing here. If I am entitled to it, why then are you bashing me for it. Talk about a lack of rational thought.
You want to stated that those that don't agree with your one sided post have a blind fanaticism going, hmmm, that strange coming from someone who actually made a veiled threat about taking your business else where if this or that isn't in stock in 24 hours. Come on! That reminds me of a child in a store that is being told by their parents they can have this or that and having a hissy fit. I don't know what you expected to accomplish by that post or in fact this follow up post.
I'm sorry, how does blind fanaticism relate to being willing to walk away if bad business continues? Were a child, or anyone, denied promised stock for well over a month I'd think anyone but a fanboi (look, I did it again!) would agree that displaying displeasure and considering taking their business elsewhere would be appropriate.
If you have issues with stock or other issues with the business aspect of them, then by all means take it to where is belongs, in the support thread! How about contacting the vendor themselves, they have e-mail, a phone a support thread, etc.
I have, thanks. Once again, commenting here on their juice stock still seems completely relevant to me.
Again, everyone of us has had things we couldn't get or didn't like but you don't see the majority of people making comments or hollow threats about going somewhere else.
Hmm, I do believe if, after such an extended period of not having half their juices, one hasn't considered looking elsewhere that fanboi designation you love so much is well-earned.
The reception my comment is receiving from you in particular is likely why you don't see such comments more frequently. Most people aren't thick-skinned enough to endure such abuse for voicing their comment with facts on which it is based.
I highly suggest taking your own advise and go make a whiners cult or something. This topic has been beaten to death, it has been addressed by MBV and if you cannot handle what they have stated they were doing to correct the issue, well that's your problem!
I appreciate how welcoming you are of rational, but differing, opinions. It's been an absolute pleasure conversing with such an obviously even-tempered, reasoned individual. Surely nobody should bring up anything you think has been addressed and is no longer deserving of comment, despite its being an ongoing issue.
You mention that other post, not sure if you were referring to mine of another that was made but you know what, yet again, wrong thread. Last I checked the reason for support threads were, oh, lets see, oh yeah, for support, complaints, praise, wants, requests etc.
So before telling someone what a thread is or what they should post, check what you are posting and where, as you stated this is a forum. I ran one for over 10 years so I have some idea of what they are, and to say that others do not or to imply it is insulting!
Oh, how you did several times in this quote, and wrongly? I'm sorry, I was not aware I was in the presence of a forum god. I should be more deferential, shouldn't I? Once again, in an e-liquid forum, thread titled Mt. Baker Baker - I addressed my thoughts on their past and current juice stock problems ... how ridiculous of me!
Done with my RANT for now!
