Mowgli beat me. Just skip my reply. Or is it too late?

It's too late to fall in love with Sharon Tate - IT'S TOO LATE LYRICS - JIM CARROLL

Thanks everyone.:vapor:

Nice name Sizzorfite! I got into a hemostatic forceps fight on a Jack Daniels night long ago
Scars on my neck and chest. You should have seen the other guy.
I also got my back torn on top of a chain link fence that night. ouch.

25 years sober now - haven't been in a roachclip forceps fight in years :p

the whole point of using wattage, at least for n00b like me, is that you avoid burning coils. just start at 3 w and move up. my v3s only start at 6, so 6.5 is usually where i'm at, but my coils are lasting a lot longer. no burning issues until i go over 8w.

juice makes a big difference, at least in my experience. I've got a high VG juice that does well at 10W, but most of my 80/20 stuff tastes burnt over 8W.

Morning MBV peeps! =] I got some tanks loaded with juice, mods ready to choose from to take to work, feeling soooooooooo much better now that I got some higher VG in with nic! Thanks MBV!

I have a bit of vape porn for you guys, if you don't mind :p I only want to post because I noticed all of the MT BAKER VAPOR JUICE in the background LOL

So i realized I like moo juice better than blue moo, because the blue moo just comes off as too harsh for me, and the moo juice is more smooth i guess. So tonight I mixed in some whipped cream to my blue moo. Awesomesauce. Now if i could just figure out how to makes this cake juice I have better.. when I put WC in it, it tasted like dirt. and that's juice from a "premium" vendor.. it makes my mouth feel weird :/

I've told them about it(thinking something was wrong with the juice)but they won't answer my messages.
I'm worried it will destroy every tank that the juice is in. Or worst, make people sick. :-(

Your best bet is to get some pyrex tanks, I am actually vaping Morning Vape right now in a Protank. As I stated previously, they are aware of this and it is posted on their tank cracker list and should also be mentioned below the description area of the juice info.

Add some blueberry to the cake. I used that before and it's pretty good.

So I'm thinking of ordering some thug juice or other menthol flavor. Any other recommendation? I find that I have to have soda with hawk sauce to get it to taste a little better. A bit too perfume taste for me and very potent. It's a vape you change after sometime for me.

Damn, I like the look of that Sentinel!

the juice i have is either 80/20 or 50/50 pg/vg. i only take tobaccos up to 8, but then again, i don't like most tobaccos. my itaste v3s are cheap and that's why i like them. sometimes, for stuff like cheesecake, i wish they would go lower than 6 watts. i use alot of mini-davides and the coils are just plain crazy all over the place. instead of 2.2 ohms, some go up to 3.6! i try (when i can remember, to put the lower ohm ones on my tobacco juices and use the high ones for my dulce de leche and root beer.)

i do agree that 8w is usually too much for the juice. i vape mainly MBV stuff, and the clearo matters too. tobaccos run best for me in evods, and horribly the minis. the v3s are nice, but if you use large tanks (even those clearos called tanks), the tank seem to suck a lot of the power out of the battery. you put a tobacco in anything other than an evod, you get mute, mute, mute, burning as you increase wattage. that's OK by me, cuz the only MBV tobaccos that i can deal with are USA Mix and Coumarin. THAT was good, because it made me try all the other flavors, ddl, root beer, whipped cream and a few others that are by far my favorites.

i think the taste in a protank has an edge (very slight edge, but it could be the better coils) on the flavor on the minis, but if i use ptanks, i vape 5 mils of juice a day. the minis keep me closer to 3.

i just got a boatload of MBV and FW flavorings so once i have some juice steeping, it is finally time to retry making coils.

i just got some AROs, but they are nearly as heavy as my ptanks. i think they are just beyond the range of the v3s. i tried some tobaccos in them (thinking they were "super evods") and flavor was unbelievably muted. but their coils are 2.6 ohm. (which i wouldn't mind in an evod. once i get the hang of coiling, i'll try to make some 1.8 - 2 ohms for them to balance them off. they work good for my root beer (which i'm still tweaking) and maybe whipped cream will go in the other.

gotta find the right "tanks" for the right juice and the right coils for the right "tanks". that makes it all interesting. it's like "mise en place", everything in it's place and a place for everything.

once i get the coils worked out, i can re-evaluate which juice goes where. (and a what v/w)

oops...well, it seems I was quite late to that "answer" party!! Should have read the whole thread.....I was hanging out in Mod Envy tonight trying to win prizes and not succeeding....wanted to catch up before I call it a night. My bad to the OP for the repeat advice.

And this is exactly why I only buy Pyrex clearos (Smok Tech ARO). I buy whatever flavor juices look good to me and I don't have to check any lists or worry about anything. It seems to me like the flavor is better even on non cracking juices in Pyrex anyway too.

Oh also I'm vaping some Coumarin Pipe (50/50 +1 12mg) from MBV right now. It's only 1 week old and probably needs to steep more, but to me it tastes like a sweet vanilla. I don't taste any tobacco at all. I've heard the tobacco flavors need like a month steep, so you think I'll taste tobacco in like 3 weeks? I'm probably not gonna vape anymore of it and just let it steep awhile. I do actually really enjoy the flavor now though. Now it has just a little more room to breathe too that 50ml bottle was filled just about to the brim. I guess that's another thing I like about MBV you definitely get every ml you pay for (and cheap at that) and probably a few extra.

PS- I really like paying $11.24 for 50ml with +1 shot over $15 for 30ml with no shots. That's what the vendor I used to always go to charges and I think MBV juices are as good or maybe even better. ( I got to try a bunch more before I can for sure say MBV is better.)

Ok I'm going to ask a really stupid question... I have tons of vamo's and anyvape cvi and seigeli(sp?) but I've been looking at the mechanical mods. Are they just and ego basically with a bigger battery? Or do they have more power?

It will have whatever voltage the battery is. So 4.2V fully charged, and slowly drop off from there. Strangely, this doesn't seem to cause burnt juice like I'd get with the same atty's on a device set at 4.2V. I don't really get why that is, but it seems consistent.

Mechanical mods are a whole different breed, no safety features built in, there's no room for error when rebuilding coils, have to check every coil prior to use, but now you can go down the road of sub-ohm coils...

There is room for error in some regards. You just don't want a short. You really REALLY don't want a short. As long as your coil has a resistance over 1 ohm, you're fine. Under 1 ohm, you need to know what you're doing and be safe!

Some of the mech mods are so inexpensive and look really cool....it's the unregulated part that scares me off....think I need some more experience before I venture there....but I sure do like the looks of them!!

Worthwhile reading:

I like the V2 version but it seems the ladies (and some guys) like the V3 with it's swirls.
I planned to J Wrap it so I'd think the swirls would show through.
I liked getting the first one used for speedy delivery and to support someone's upgrade.
As far as price goes you can get new, unabused V2s for about $31 from FT.

If you decide on a V2 and have questions ask away or ask in the VAMO section.
Good folks here and there :)

I don't mind the swirls on the stainless. They aren't as prominent as photographs make them look. I'm more sold on the removable top-cap and the OLED screen.

Once I'm back in my house I'm going to start DIYing. I'll have my desk and my own space and not worry about boyfriend messing with everything. At that point I'll go to 0 nic.

Does MBV not sell all their flavors as just flavoring? I didn't see S'mores, maybe I didn't look hard enough.

Several flavors aren't available, but half the fun of DIY is making new recipes. So get some chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker and go to town!
