I've never had a mechanical mod and know little about them, but can't you put in a kick then have protection and regulated voltage?

I don't know how much protection kick offers, but yeah, some sort of fuse is a really good idea with a mech. I bought a Vapesafe2 fuse to use with my K100, and I'm pretty sure I've never needed it, but I don't regret it. I'd love to try a kick, but I'd need a mech that has room for one with a 18650. The Smoktech kicks can be had for under $15 (cheap!)

And this is exactly why I only buy Pyrex clearos (Smok Tech ARO). I buy whatever flavor juices look good to me and I don't have to check any lists or worry about anything. It seems to me like the flavor is better even on non cracking juices in Pyrex anyway too.

Oh also I'm vaping some Coumarin Pipe (50/50 +1 12mg) from MBV right now. It's only 1 week old and probably needs to steep more, but to me it tastes like a sweet vanilla. I don't taste any tobacco at all. I've heard the tobacco flavors need like a month steep, so you think I'll taste tobacco in like 3 weeks? I'm probably not gonna vape anymore of it and just let it steep awhile. I do actually really enjoy the flavor now though. Now it has just a little more room to breathe too that 50ml bottle was filled just about to the brim. I guess that's another thing I like about MBV you definitely get every ml you pay for (and cheap at that) and probably a few extra.

PS- I really like paying $11.24 for 50ml with +1 shot over $15 for 30ml with no shots. That's what the vendor I used to always go to charges and I think MBV juices are as good or maybe even better. ( I got to try a bunch more before I can for sure say MBV is better.)

I bought the Couramin pipe juice too. The flavor really hasn't changed much since I bought it, and there really is no tobacco flavor. I got 80/20 with 18 mg. I really reminds me of cherry flavored cloves, without the clove flavor. It is yummy, though.

Hello Peeps. I missed a lot of posting last night :)

Miarose, it sounds to me like you need higher resistance cartos for your carto tanks. If you're using a 1.5Ω carto, get some 1.7 or 1.9Ω cartos to try. The higher resistance will help keep your juices from burning :)

Scary fish pic!!! I won't swim in the Amazon any time soon.

Have a good Sunday :thumb:

I have read many post containing negative comments about MBV ejuices but this one takes the cake.

After letting steep for a week with the lid off in a dark space the flavor is fine, but not much vanilla taste. The main negative is the juice doesn't last as long as some of my other juices I've tried. It's a good value but when you take in to account it doesn't last as long I don't know if the cost is effective.

Perhaps they should stop putting those secerate herbs and spices in thier juices which makes you crave more.:)

FYI I have te same issue with BluBacco but going DIY using theit flavor concentrate reduced the cost.

what's with leaving the lid off for a week? talk about evaporation.

I use the Taryn Spin method while keeping the "condom" on the bottom of the carto. I plug the center tube with toothpick (broken in half). It works well for me :)

Either that, or that person thinks the flavor fades to nothing in a hurry. I haven't had that problem myself...but since I like MBV juices, I just skip right over those posts :thumb:

Only componet that evaporates much is the alchol which is waht makes it taste perfumey or like baby powder to many.

I let my new juices air out (top off but bottle pluged with cotton) for 24-48 hours then recap and shake daily for X days. Some tobacco belnds need 1 to 6 weeks while most desert, fruit flavors are fine after a few days.

The larger the batch the slower the steep , small batches in large containers steep faster. Heat helps, 140F for 8 hours is about the same as 14 days at room temperature. Seed steeping helps, that is add say 2/3 new to 1/3 presteeped and steeping happens many times faster.

Most favors do not fade but inface get stronger, problem too strong makes the flavor taste weaker and thus is why new (unsteeped) juice is not finished and if you keep adding flavoring you will likely overflavor it.
Your results may vary.

I just got my first bottle of Hawk sauce a few days ago but haven't tried it yet. I just read the tank cracker list and it's on there. I use the halo G6 mini tanks, now I'm afraid to try it in them. I do have some blank cartomizers I could put it in, but I really dislike cartomizers :(
Can anyone verify from experience that Hawk Sauce will ruin a plastic tank?

I can only verify that Hawk Sauce hasn't ruined any of my eVods...I haven't tried the G6s so I can't help you there. Since you haven't tried HS, it might be worth trying it in a carto before you risk the G6.

True however most ejuice bottle have fairly small openings, not very large surface areas and besides once put in a tank, carto, claronizer etc. they are not sealed air tight either.

I have left 30ml. bottles of ejuice uncaped fot close to a month and never noticed the fluid level going down enought to even be noticeable .

Statements like the one you referenced IRK me to no end, let me see, what could be the issue, maybe it doesn't last long because you keep vaping it, maybe your using a different Ohm'ed coil, maybe your using a higher voltage/wattage, maybe a different tank entirely, is the PG/VG the same ratio, what type of wick etc, etc. People like that are the ones that I just want to take to the side and slap em silly for being so moronic! That post makes no sense given the information given, I don't know if there was more info of if that was it. Many factors come into play. Not cost effective, I'm surprised they were even able to come out with that statement. Oh boy, I better stop now!!! And just so it doesn't come back to bite me in the ...., I was again referring to the comments made by the other person, not yours! :D

I had a customer a few years back that bought a bunch of pure essential oils, which are quite a few are extremely volatile and she came back to complain that the oil is almost gone, I had asked her what she was using it for and she stated she was using it as a type of air freshener and had put it is some small wide glass jars that were completely wide open, she didn't use diffusers, oil lamp warmers etc, but a wide mouth jar, I simply sent her back and email telling her to look up the word volatile and if she had any further questions to get back in touch and I would explain what happened, never heard from her again on that issue but she did order more oils!

Normally I cannot stand to hear someone use the term "DUH" as it was used way too much and not in a proper context, but in her case, I should have just sent her a 1 word reply using that term!

I actually used a small plastic hand operated centrifuge to do mine, that is until I broke the darn thing, haven't had the need to get another one, I would probably have to by the whole darn chemistry set to get another one but I don't need the other stuff out of it, I have enough lab glass as it is, well I could use some more test tubes though. :p Can't afford the electric ones, and well don't have real use for one. lmao
