I'm always amazed at the flavor and vapor production when I put in a freshly built head. I've been going on the same heads for over 3 weeks, soaking them in moonshine every few days and they look great when I dry burn them. But, I built one on the fly today and filled a tank with Solar Flare....WOW!!...as the tank got lower I added Lemon Goddess, which I'm not sure is being carried anymore but I love it!!. Lower still and I topped it off with my sample of Hawk Sauce, only a few days old and top off about 30 hrs. I couldn't wait to try it after all the talk. It's good. I can tell it's going to be crazy good after steeping. Time to order a bigger bottle. I know I'm going to want it!! Guess I need to pull out all of my old stuff tomorrow and do some serious rebuilding. Think it took me 5 minutes to wrap that coil today, 6 wraps, for a mini vivi nova, while standing at the counter. I finally bought some reading glasses and could do it without the ginormous magnifying box thingie!! Success!

Verizon is my ISP also, and the different levels of throttling is horrible. I do however get around this by using a VPN. I have a VPS running an OpenVPN Access Server, works like a charm. I can even watch youtube in HD without buffering :)

I don't think it's throttling this time.
It seems better now after Breaking Bad and Dexter but doesn't most everything?
Something must have been messed up from the power outage this AM.

My buddy pays $40/year for a VPN
He says it's the only one he knows of that doesn't keep logs.
Nothing criminal just TPB and whatever else is nobody's biz.
He says he went from 1mb/sec to 3-4mb/sec - sounds good to me.

Did you google verizon & net neutrality?

I am coming back in order to give James a heads up.

I think I'm going to have to file a complaint with some authorities about their Cinnamon Roll eLiquid. There has to be some sort of ilegal drug or some kind of very unhealthy (but oh so satisfying) substance in this juice. It is like crack for me

I was addicted to analogs (2 PAD)for well over 20 years and I never had to have smoke as bad as I need more of this Cinnamon Roll juice. :sarc: Since noon I have gone through three Protank full of this liquid

I can't taste squat, but I can taste every little note in this juice, and it is quickly moving toward the top of my goto list.
My only hope is that Sticky Bun and Bananas Gone Nuts is only half as good. At least those would break up my new routine so I won't burnout on the "Roll". I would have never thought I would like any of the sweet vapes, in fact I haven't liked much of any until now.

:toast:

I can suggest four tobaccos for you to start with. I love the Virginia Fire Cured Tobacco (but with +2 or more shots), Latakia Tobacco (+2 or more shots), East Coast Tobacco (+1 shot) and Courmarin Pipe Tobacco (+1 shot). The extra shots are my preference, of course, but I think the Virginia FC definitely needs them. The others would probably be good with less or more, tailored to your preference.

I like the extra shots in the VFC tobacco because it brought out the fullness of the flavor. I suspect that the original recipe would leave you with a faint floral, sweet flavor rather than the rich, tobacco floral, caramelized tobacco flavor I got by upping the flavor. This was a specific flavor I had been looking for. Reminded me of the flavor of Red Man Chewing Tobacco. No, I don't chew, lol, but all my uncles did when I was growing up and I tasted it a few times and it kind of settled in my mind as a 'true' tobacco flavor.

I hope this is helpful. :) I know how hard it is on the tobacco search.

does anyone have any impressions on these flavors? seems i bought everything else, and only thought USA Mix was OK after a 2 month steep (my bad, i got 5 extra shots in it)

It seems to be back up to speed. Just lame IOW
I tried downloading a couple of legal Dead shows by torrent just now and it's throttled at 550k
I've never seen over 1mb/sec since I switched from comcast.

Vaped the better part of my 5ml tank of MBV Butterscotch +1 mixed with my DIY Butterscotch tonight.

Breaking Bad and Dexter were both REALLY good tonight. I'm sad that Dexter is over and also sad that Breaking Bad is over next week.

I can't wait to get some MBV Butterscotch...soon for sure. I'm vaping a tank full of Cinnamon Roll atm and every time I do it seems to just get better. It's definitely going on the re-order list.

PS - I just left a review for it on MBV (Dennis L) I gave it 5 stars of course I'd give it more if I could.

I'm just happy if my Time Warner high speed is working at all. What a junk service.

Huh. That's who my buddy uses. He said it sucked till he got the VPN.

Great avatar BTW. My family's been American since 1620 (Francis Cooke)

Be happy you don't have Comcast. They charge a lot for standard speed internet if you don't have their cable. I'm lucky they took the caps off in my area. Where I live they have a pretty large monopoly.

Morning All!!!:toast: I know this has been posted here MANY times, but I need a little advice and JUST DON'T HAVE TIME to scroll back and find it....sorry.... I'm thinking of doing some BASIC DIY on MBV Flavors so I'd like a little advice from y'all. This is my plan......I get the pre-mixed 65/35 PG/VG at 36ml nic....I get a 65/35 PG/VG no nic...mix them to cut it to 18nic...then...put in bottles and start making flavors...am I on the right track here? This is where I need the advice......percentages of flavor for MBV. I remember the 12.5% so say in a 30ml bottle, 3.75ml for the flavor..correct? Does this mean I would only put 26ml of the base in the bottle plus the flavor to get a 30ml bottle? I'll have to get syringes and measure but just wondering...advice anyone?:) Since I usually vape an 80/20 pg/vg mix...I'll want to add an extra shot to make up for the pg loss in the 65/35 blend...what am I looking at here guys? Am I going about this the right way?

I'm sure it was related to the outage. So as to keep this from straying too far off-topic, let's all have a vape of MBV juice :) Now then, my personal opinion on using a VPN is that it's a good idea. It keeps the ISP throttling at bay, and increases security, provided you are using a secure VPN :) I'm not big on shared ones though, so I do my own with VPS's. I have 1 in New Jersey, and one in another country. OpenVPN AS is drop dead simple on a linux server. Bonus: added security on shared public internet access due to the encryption going on :) As far as the different ISP's being different levels of terrible, I think it all depends on location. For example, Time Warner in my area is beyond awful, while Verizon is the most decent. Honestly, I could go on all day about these topics :)

Speed tests; first is no VPN, second is with. (Verizon DSL)

Obviously the latency is higher, but the overall speed more than makes up for it under most uses.

You have the math correct as far as converting percentage to ml. I would recommend making your first mixes in straight PG/VG without nic, in order to check the flavor strength without "wasting" nic if you make some sort of "horrible" mistake. Instead of purchasing PG/VG already mixed, I would purchase them separately since you would like to change your PG/VG ratios. Once you know that you are mixing at levels that work for you, you can be a bit more cavalier mixing new flavors using nic base. I wouldn't recommend adding a full shot when changing from 80/20 to 65/35...at least for my palate, it wouldn't be necessary. With that said, you could easily mix up a 10ml sample batch of each in plain PG/VG to test that theory. A good ejuice calculator is a great tool...one that I use comes from ECF: Scubabatdan's ejuice calculator. HTH

Thanks for the info Stone. After consideration, I'll probably go with my standard 80/20 blend cut with 80/20 no nic pg/vg. Just a suggestion by someone who wanted to "go half" to minimize their cost and they like 65/35...sorry...they're gonna be on their own:lol: I'm gonna do this for me for once...so you'll probably be hearing from me if you don't mind. Just want to mix the juice similar to what I'm getting fro MBV is all.:toast:

Poteau, OK
Out of my order I loved the Cinnamon Roll, Banana Split, and the Pineapple Upside Down Cake, but didn't care at all for the Maple Pecan. 3 out of 4 on a juice order is good with me. Will definitely order those 3 again

Maple pecan is good mixed with pie crust and brown sugar. Mellows out the maple pecan real nice. I call mine pecan pie... Really creative huh?? Lol
