I have't hit the perfect vanilla yet but holding out hope of a Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean extraction, a great coffee vape on the other hand, got one that hits the spot...

Juice mix flavor alert!!! Shenanigans, graham cracker, and a couple drops of sweetener in a tank is soooooo fine!!! I can envision whipped cream in there too, but I ran out of space in the tank!! Dessert!!!

I'll shoot ya' a sample next time I mix some up my friend, going to be a little while as I just mixed up 60ml on Sunday and it's only a late evenin' first thing in the mornin' vape for me....
I don't vape tobaccos (I really didn't like any that I tried), so I won't pretend to offer advice on those flavors. I would say that it has been posted quite a lot on this thread that the tobaccos need at least a 2 week steep, with a month steep preferred.
If he likes menthol, Thug Juice or Jungle Juice would be good fruit/menthol choices. Extreme Ice is great for adding menthol to other flavors and I like to vape it alone as well. White Out is another good cool vape (think white Tic Tac flavor). Extreme Ice and White Out are also great because they require little or no steeping, so he can get to vaping right away.
I think the most popular bakery flavors are Cinnamon Roll and Sticky Bun. I'm not a huge fan of the bakery flavors, but if I had to choose I would choose Cinnamon Roll.
I was surprised to find that I really liked Root Beer (tank cracker). It is a candy flavor like the root beer hard candies, but a very interesting and good vape IMO.
My other favorite go-to flavors are Hawk Sauce, Solar Flare (tank cracker), and Tidal Wave.
If you get CE4s and you want to send him some tank cracker juices, I would suggest some CE4s with crack resistant tanks.

Hi guys - I need some advice on flavors.
Background - my son told his best friend about my experience with vaping and the friend has expressed interest. My son would like me to put together a beginner package for him along with a setup of juices. Money is not an object but time is. My son wants to give it to him ASAP.
I already have extra hardware - I'll include two (plain black) ego 1300mAh batteries and half-a-dozen CE4 clearos (different colors). I'd like to have half-a-dozen juices (keep it simple, one flavor per clearo).
He smokes 'red menthols' (???) I'm thinking this is Marlboro, right? My son (who is not a vaper) suggested flavors that try to mimic the 'red menthol' flavor as much as possible. Of course I explained the whole taste thing, etc. so he says just get whatever I think best.
I'm thinking maybe a 1) tobacco, 2) tobacco/menthol, 3) fruit/menthol, 4) bakery, and a couple of others. Preferably juice that doesn't need to steep forever - a day or two is fine.
What would you get??
PS - this friend is technical-minded and a tinkerer - I fully expect him to end up here in the mod forums.
PPS - I should have mentioned that I'm specifically looking for MBV juice suggestions.
My bakery recommendation would be Bananas Gone Nuts. I let everything I get steep for 3 weeks, but I've read that others have liked it right out of the mail.
I second that, pretty darn tasty. Ms. Kitty was saying the Dutch Apple Pie was yum, too. I can't vouch for that one. A bit of an odd one for me is the Strawberry Shortcake. Not sure if the mad chemist they have locked up on top of Mt. Baker changed something, but it's better than I remember. Gives me a nice strawberry flavor, but also a decent throat hit. Really do love it, always have, although I often forget to order.
EDIT: Oooh, that Sticky Bun is delicious! Needs a bit of a steep but it's a good one, too. Not sure if it cracks tanks, I drip primarily so I wouldn't know, but I'd just guess it has the cinammon, it has the tank cracking capability.

My creation and right after mixing not bad at all but will need some steeping time for the flavors to meld but used up my last 5ml's of my coveted Hazelnut.

Don't remember exactly who recommended this, well they actually recommended Toasted Almond but I don't have any and changed the mix to 50/50 each instead of 25% butterscotch.

I didn't see any replies to this, but the easiest way to do this is to order two bottles of the same flavor juice, one at 18mg and one at 0mg. For you husband, he'll just load his tanks with the 18, no mystery there. For you, you'll have to mix together 1 part 18 mg to 2 parts 0 mg (18/3 = 6). Now you're probably thinking, "might as well buy a bottle of 18 mg and a bottle of 6 mg and save the trouble, right?" Probably. But you asked if there was a way, not if it was practical. What would be practical, but more work, would be to buy a bottle of the highest strength they sell (36mg) and a bottle of 0 and mix a half and half for your husband (36/2 = 18) and 1 + 5 for yourself (36/6 = 6) and in the event your nic level preference changes, all you have to change is your ratios (and then you're on the slippery slope to DIY hooray!).
The rda is something that I'm trying to learn....so, an ego works best 4 that?

"Best" is a matter of personal preference. A mini RDAs is fine on an ego if you build the coil to a resistance that matches what you like with an Ego's typical 3.7ish voltage. It's not my favorite setup, but it works, and it's about as stealth as it gets without a cigalike! Honestly though, with any coil over 1.5 ohm, I prefer to vape it on a VV/VW device. I just like the extra control, especially if I'm screwing around and am not building my usual (4/5 wrap 32g) coil. Then I also have a 0.9 ohm dual coil nimbus type RDA with custom drilled air holes that is a delight to use on a mechanical (K100 with an 18650 battery, the more freshly charged, the better). It's my favorite around the house vape when I'm not using a tank. So I guess my point is that you really can't go wrong, as long as you put together a combo that you enjoy!
Regarding dry hits and flooding, as soon as you think you are starting to taste a dry hit, drip again. The first time you drip after a dry burn or a new coil, you can put the max amount for whatever size coil and wick you have, but if you're been vaping and you're starting to taste dry, you'll want to put a little less on to refill than you did to load it when it was completely dry. TBH I had a lot more issues with dry hits and flooding using a bridgeless 510 atty than I ever did with an RDA. Just take the cap off and look at your coil. Is it dry and white? Juice it up! Is there liquid all over the place? Wipe it off or dry burn and start over. After a couple days you should get the hang of it. But hang onto your tanks. They're still great when you're on the go or just don't wanna bother with dripping.
One last tip, make sure the air hole is lined up with the coil. Good airflow helps everything.
