wow, whole lotta moderatin' goin' on in here last night. we was bad. View attachment 263100

ok.. you almost made me go back and see what got nuked...then I remembered the sack stuff I think I started
~evil grin~ what else would we want to call a man purse anyway? lol

good morning allayas..thanks for the B-day wishes :)

hubby's a Jehovah's witness - so there probably won't be any festivities today at home..though Monday when we have to go to Destin for dr appointments - there will be lunch out somewhere - hopefully vape friendly.
Probably doesn't help that I'm vegetarian - and trying to go organic and gmo free. I'd be fine with an organic juice bar but the hubster is a meatatarian - so.. I'll probably stray into the no no food land.

I swapped out 6 gunky T3 coils this morning..nothing like fresh coil for cafe coffee - caramel coffee - sticky buns - pumpkin cookie - tea berry and um... *looks at vape sticks* umm oh right.. lesser nic cafe coffee

when this cast is off..or I just feel more agile with it on I am going to start re-wicking my ever growing collection of T3 coils. I think I'd prefer cotton or even hemp wick over silica - anyone using hemp wick?

Well I guess mail really is off this week. I only got 1 of my 2 packages that was scheduled for delivery today. The one I didn't get hasn't updated status since the 16th where it still shows being in Pennsylvania. And yesterday I got the package that I expected Saturday. Oh well at least this last package is just batteries that I am no immediate need of. It will be fun to see how long 2900mah lasts though.

good morning everyone. feels like winter here this morning. View attachment 263084

me no likey. :(

with 20% heart function (that is hopefully up to 25%), i feel like that shivering dude about 16 hours a day (which, in turn, calls for a "i need to pee" smiley next to it). i miss the summer, no more sunning myself like a reptile trying to get some body heat.

I'm sorry......the part about going to the store for some ciggys, was certainly a joke ( threat) . I would NEVER !!

On a side note......I don't know why we celebrate Colombus Day when it was he that brought pestilence, disease and death to a whole race of people. He was NOT the first.... Amerigo Vespucci was . hence the name America. But I digress

Vespucci? the first?

it was his mapping and writing (8 years after CC, that got us the moniker). not to mention the Vikings, and long before that the Carthaginians. which of course the folks who actually came here first, later to be the indigenous tribes.

if you folks are using that awful "stamps" site for your tracking, the USPS older version works much better.

as for fb, i use to see what my oldest grandson is up to. now that he has a phone, he updates...well, too much, but he posts nice vids of his biking and scootering. when i first joined, my hotmail acct was hacked and microgypt never let me have mu acct back. :-x

and my chock-full-of-nuts ad survived the purge...;)

try cinnamon for it's warming properties - in coffee.. on an apple or pear
not sure if that would work in a vape.. be pretty nifty if vaping cinnamon also had the warming effect though

i asked for cinnamon red hots as a freebie, and i like bakery stuff (esp cinnamon roll) in the morning. can't drink much liquid, so once summer exits, out comes the electric blanket. :vapor:

Yeaa!!! got my juice today. How do you folks get those cute little smileys and stuff in your posts? When I try all I get is a written description of it. The technology and intellectually challenged needs to know. Thanks--Bo
P.S. got Spurberry and can't wait to try it. Does this flavor need steeping?

I've been thinking about getting a new FB account for the same reason. I had one for about 2 years and, honestly, I was about to lose my marbles at some of the stuff my 'friends' chose to share with the world. I would rather not know every trivial, mundane detail about the people I know. I honestly do not need to see a picture of the sloppy joes with cilantro and lime that you made for dinner. I don't give half a care about the flowers your boyfriend gave you and surely don't need to see photos of you smooching at the park. I have zero interest in the boil that has developed on your neck that might need to be lanced.

It was a fantastic way to keep up to date with local events, shows, and that sort of thing, but as a means of keeping in touch, not so much. For me, it just grew into such a ridiculous competition for attention...and I'm talking grown adults here. It's like the high school of the internet, only everyone is attending at all ages.

Rant over. This day better improve. Hope you guys and gals are having great vapes, and a greater day.

you have crystallized my thoughts about FB perfectly :). there were literally people crawling out of the cyber woodwork that i hadn't been in touch with for years and years. no thank you. if i want to contact someone, i will do it. until then, leave me be. god i am such a biatch.

I've been recoiling (winding on a toothpick) and rewicking with cotton balls. Love the clean taste of the cotton, but getting the right amount every time is frustrating. I'm looking into either butchers twine or cheesecloth as my next move. Hemp or bamboo are also options is be willing to try.

I tried several wick materials and ended up staying with cotton. It gets easier to get the right amount with practice :) :2c:

I am startin' to get a serious interest in using hemp after one of the members in a Co-Op I'm participating in has been talkin' about it...

I like cotton too, but looking to go a different route than the cotton balls. I'm great at the coils, but getting the right amount of cotton ball is driving me crazy. It took 4 tries last night on one coil to get it so I could actually vape it. Now, it only takes a second or 3 to rewick, but then you have to let it sit before trying it. It's driving me batty. I can't understand why it's so hard for me to remember the right amount of cotton.

Ok that turned into an unexpected rant.

Thought this might be the best place to post. Have a question I am hoping one of you could help me out with. Just started DIY a few weeks ago. Bought the Vg/Pg from Amazon and 236ml unflavored nic and flavoring from MtBaker. I got the 36mg nic and will be diluting it down to 6mg.
My first batches are coming along nicely and have ordered more flavoring from MtBaker. The order should be in my mail today.
One of the flavors I mixed on Oct/10/13 is Creme De Menthe. I mixed @20% and it was vapable right after a couple hours in the ultrasonic. It was strong but really good, much like a peppermint patty. Problem, is after vaping for about 15 minutes I had enough. Too strong. So I ordered the Dark Chocolate flavoring to mix with the creme de menthe. I love York peppermint patties and this comes real close, I thought adding the chocolate might bring the taste even closer.
My question is, how much of the chocolate flavoring do you think would be needed to take the edge off too strong menthe taste? I would appreciate your opinion.

Just off hand my thought is that you are already at 20% so adding enough chocolate to cut the mint would leave you with a heavily over flavored mix. Personally I'd be thinking about cutting it instead of adding additional flavoring, I do have some DIY's that get into the 20% range but the majority fall between 14% and 18%. If I remember right (not a home to check) my peppermint patty recipe used around 8% chocolate....

Thank you, that makes sense. So if I mix the 8% chocolate with pg/vg & nic, I would then mix that with equal amounts of my already prepared mix, that would bring the creme de menth down to 10% from 20%? Does that sound right?

Right off hand I'm thinking you would end up closer to 14%, I'm not in the position to use my juice calculator, so rough numbers are say 20% + 8% = 28%/2 = 14%...

All equal amounts being combined ;)
