Do you have any of those rubber covers/caps that come shipped over driptips or cartos? A friend of mine just punches a hole in the end or clips the closed end off and puts it over the new metal driptips he gets.

actually here in Illinois winter is coming and I hate the cold cold cold......and then comes along the Protank mini that I can't replace the tip on and the metal is so cold I don't like using it. complaints complaints.....must be the weather!!

Even though I live in Florida, I do now and have for a number of years lived in North Central Florida and while it doesn't get as cold as it does up there, it can actually get cold here, we typically at the end of Dec and into January can get in the teens for extended periods and it actually snowed here 2 years ago! Well, in 1976 it snowed where I grew up in South Florida, I was working on the Race Track (Horses) went out to the car and saw all this white powder on it and said NO WAY, but yup it did! lol

actually, you may be right! i don't have radiator type heat in the apt (which is the only kind i can stand. the others dry me out and stuff me up), so i only turn the heat on for about a half hour in the morning. my vg heavy juices get mighty thick and goopy in the cold. may have to go 50/50 in the winter. they barely come out of needle top bottles, too thick.
got some banana split, root beer float, pineapple peach and graham cracker on the stove!
