dusty, didn't i tell you something good would happen? congrats on the job and i hope it turns into something you love. what you said about some of the other applicants? i have read tons of stories just like that. there are just some people who are unemployable. and don't seem to care.

As for it being something I would love, not so much, but you know it's more important right now to get the bills paid, feed my cats, ORDER SOME NEW juice.... Oh and get a VTR, I never cared for box mods but that one looks really cool and I hear it heavy as well. I wish I could either get my photography equipment replaced as I would go back into that and would have liked to get into Radio as I DJ, I've been told so many times that I can count that I have a great voice and should be in radio, I wouldn't want to scare any one by being seen! 
For some reason I do find I miss Bouncing in nightclubs! That was always a part-time job I liked to do and the extra money was my mad money.
I hated it, I was working from home taking inbound calls for customers of Best buy in 2011 for Black Friday and Cyber Monday and Best Buy's website was still showing items being in stock when they were actually out and had none in the warehouses and some were closeouts, there was a lot of ...... of people especially the ones that bought things for Christmas that they were not going to get, what hell that was..... It was all over the news etc.
Ah cool dusty. My boyfriend is a DJ. Over the next year or two I'm gonna try to like manage him. Well see how that goes. I'm a scientist not a promoter Lol.

Awesome! I really would like to do that but it's a tough field to get in and now a days it's expensive, they wanted $12,000 for a year and I have to work so I can just go and try going the intern route. I had also thought about making my own station on the net but that's a pain in the .... and no money in it! lol
Thanks, at least I will be able to pay my bills for a while, but it's that old catchup game so it's gonna take a while before I can use any for misc purposes, oh wait keeps me from smoking so it's not misc items! Yeah, that's the ticket! lmao
Hey congrats man. I know you've been struggling with this for a bit now and it's good to have some room to breathe.I want to thank all of you for your well wishes on my job search, I did get this job but I wasn't aware that it was a seasonal position as that was not stated in the job placement add, however there is a possibility that it came become a permanent position. But at least it gives me some breathing room for a few months. I start on Tuesday with orientation and will see how it goes from there. I'm just glad I have something.
Yes, they can be but the saddest part was that they purchased items such as the Xbox, it sold out in 1 day and it was a close out one, so the kids that should have gotten them weren't going to get them, it was actually heart breaking, I had more then a few mothers, fathers and grandparents to deal with as the website wasn't updating the quantity so they were showing as in stock when in fact they were all gone.
Yeah, it's been 2 months, and it's still going to be 3 more weeks or so before I get a paycheck, I am expecting an Unemployment check in the next week or so, but that was gone before I even get it, so it will still be awhile before I can actually take a deep breath, I hate not having my bills paid on time and having to make arrangements etc. If it wasn't for all the fantastic people here I would be smoking again! It gives me hope and shows that there are still wonderful people out there who actually care about others and were talking people I have never met in person or spoke to on the phone, just from on here! Totally amazing people on this site, but the best and cream of the crop are right here in this section.
Sadly, it doesn't appear that they have Rainbow Sherbet listed on their website yet. I guess they are just priming the pumps by sending out this as a sample.

I miss my DSLR and lenses. I had to sell them 4 years ago to help make things stretch when we first moved here. A week after selling it all I was hired by my current employer. Man, I was ambivalent for about a month after that. lol

I just watch this vid as I was looking for "And Fools Shine On" by Brother Kane and ran across this and I was very impressed I have seen people play with their feet etc but this was pretty cool.
Holy crap Halloween is brutal. We had about 550 kids. No foolin. We live in a very tight community and by tight it think there is about 10 feet between the houses. And people bring their kids in by the buss load. It is a ton of work for a couple of hours. Glad it's over for another year.
