ok thanks. i didn't see anyone else mention it anywhere, but i went here Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up? and it said ECF was down every time i checked. so hmmmm. maybe it was just the server i was trying to get in on.

anyway, i was suffering from withdrawal from you guys.

It was showing as down for me earlier today (about 2 est?) but right after it went down, I had to run to a doctor's appt. By the time I got back, it was loading fine again.

I'm currently buildin' an order, doubt I'll make it to the upcomin' sale....

I am trying so hard to hold out. I haven't had money burning a hole in my pocket like this in *years*... normally I'm a terrible tightwad when it comes to spending money on myself. But I keep adding things to my cart, tinkering with ratios, swapping things... then looking at the calendar and going "*how* many days to the sale?"

I'm only going to be able to afford one order this month, though, and I *know* I'll be upset with myself if I jump the gun rather than waiting for Black Friday. I just keep repeating, "I don't need juice, I just want juice," over and over to myself. It's working.... just.

"Vapid" is a word unto itself - it's pronounced VAP-id, (rhymes with "rapid"), and it has nothing to do with vaping. OED (Oxford English Dictionary) defines it as "offering nothing that is stimulating or challenging," but modern day usage has evolved/expanded the original meaning (dull or boring) to also include *dumb*... so calling someone "vapid" is pretty much the same as calling them an airhead. Which is how it became a joke, because kelli is many things, but vapid is not one of those. (Edit: One of these days I'll type fast enough for the conversation to still be going on when I post... but I'll leave this here in case anyone else misreads and is confused.)

I think I'm going to have to order some Moo Juice when Black Friday finally gets here. Any suggestions for the best number of shots to add to 50/50? I've been getting juice at 65/35 with two shots for most things, but I'm thinking about trying something in 50/50, and for whatever reason, Moo Juice seems like it might be a good one to try in that particular ratio. I'll probably go with 50/50 and three shots, just wondering about personal experiences with it... I know practically everyone but me has tried it and I'm sure everyone has a different opinion, so I'm just curious what the moo juice aficionados think.

Not getting much of an egg nog flavored taste, maybe a hint of it in the after taste. More of a spice flavor (nutmeg?). It's good, not amazing. Not going to have trouble finishing the bottle though.

Pretty much what I Was using. Someone in the REO thread said to do 4 wraps in the meantime and order some 28 or 30.

if you need wire I have a ton of 28, 29, 30, or 32 gauge. there are a ton of vid in the reo subfourm on building micro coils with cotton which I think is the way to go. I could send you some wire or coils if you want

Sounds like it might be a creamier pumpkin spice, in which case, I might as well plan on requsting it for my sample, or adding it to my cart if it's up by then... cause I *love* pumpkin spice. The first few hits were a little odd (*very* pumpkin, as in not at all dissimilar to chomping on raw pumpkin), but then the spices start to come through and it is nutmegy clovey holiday pumpkin pie goodness.

I was planning on avoiding eggnog juice because I am convinced that that crap that comes in a carton is some demon spawn practical joke, and most "eggnog" flavored things are based on self-same carton eggnog. *Real* eggnog, however, made with eggs and cream and real spices, is delicious. From the impressions I've read so far, it sounds like the juice in question might actually be based on *real* eggnog, which excites me.

Tangent - every year, a bunch of people ask for my eggnog recipe, and within a day after I post it (again), someone says, "OMG, eggnog has *eggs* in it?! EWWW!" I've had to start prefacing the recipe with, "Eggnog contains eggs. If you have health problems or are worried about the safety of your eggs, please use pasteurized eggs for this recipe. If the idea of eggs *still* grosses you out, then I can't help you, sorry."

Back on topic, mostly: Saw the pulmonologist today and sheepishly confessed to vaping. I say "sheepishly" because the first time he saw me, I was lying on a gurney in the ER about thisclose to dead, and the last time he saw me was two weeks later, when I was definitely not dead but still barely able to say more than a few words per breath, and going home on oxygen.

He's a cool guy though, so his reaction was, "Smart."

Me: That's it?

Him: Vaping won't kill you; smoking will. Your CT looks so good I had to double check to make sure it was yours, so keep doing whatever you're doing.

Works for me.

(Obligatory disclaimer: I am not a doctor, my doctor is just one guy, his statement in a personal one on one conversation should not be considered a categorical truth, etc etc. I just fully expected him to be displeased and/or confused and/or discourage it, considering my history, but he was impressively blase about it.)

I don't have that nail. I tried a small screw driver thing, toothpick. Maybe should try a paper clip. I think the one that's 2.1 is like 6 wraps. andi did put the cotton in at the end like that.

Do you have YouTube at work? don't be too sad, this is just a skill, skills can be practiced until you are da wommaaannn at coiling. No worries and just be patient. Also remember to have the right tool for the job before you even start.

Also make sure you heat the wire once it is wrapped good and tight. This will help keep its shape.

Good evening all. I have to say I also think that Kelli looks great in her current avi. I have to confess I went to dictionary.com to look up vapid. It's not a word I've seen much. I just found out tonight I've got a longer weekend than I expected. I just have a test to take tomorrow then there is some kind of conference or something Thur so no class. I've got the tops off of all my newer juices again airing them out some more hoping they will steep a little faster. Besides tasting them last night you can also tell that they are still very pale compared to steeped juice. You should see the difference in my brand new Moo Juice compared to my bottle that is over a month old, huge difference.

my doc had a similar take on vaping. (though the first time he met me and told me to quit smoking, my reply was that it ain't gonna happen.) i still imagine that he thought i said i'd taken up bowling instead, cuz he was very approving-like. the staff even lets me go out for vape breaks when i'm waiting for my appts.

have an appointment for an echo cardiogram tomorrow. now we get to find out if my heart has improved since he put the 2 stents in. i'm hoping to get a rough estimate on where i stand with disability, also. (which is cutting it all kinda close, i get my very last unemployment check tomorrow.) i guess it will also show if there's any improvement in my lungs, cuz the 1st question the guy who did it the last time asked was if i smoked. i thought it an odd question, so i asked why he posed the question. i can see it was his reply. that was my last week of smoking and i only had 3 cigs after that.

Doug, you're fine, could be much worse! The first and last time my mother was given ambien, she punched a nurse and called me at three am rambling about staying out of the shadows (she thought she was trapped in a Doctor Who episode and the nurses were Vashta Nerada in spacesuits).

And last time I went online after I took some ambien, I posted something about how all the text ever put on the internet was animated. At least, I think that's what I meant... said post appears to be in English, but uses a sentence structure with which I'm not familiar. I try to avoid taking it these days, but on nights when I can't avoid it, I close the laptop and turn off my phone as soon it's down the hatch; otherwise I wake up with no memory whatsoever what kind of nonsense I posted while I was in an ambien fog. Insomnia sucks.
