That's the one. And it has been running slow off and on tonight too. They probably need to run maintenance on the dstabase.

good luck...stick with the learning curve it's worth the rewards :)

hope so. I'm very blah about it right now.

Do you have YouTube at work? :D don't be too sad, this is just a skill, skills can be practiced until you are da wommaaannn at coiling. No worries and just be patient. Also remember to have the right tool for the job before you even start. :)

Yup.I spent a lot of time lately at work reading up on reos and coils and watching vids. Hopefully its gotta be the wire. I didn't know I shouldn't use 32g. :/ I think my, technique? Is good, but the wires just too high of a resistance. I hope, or I'm gonna punch stuff. I'm gonna try just four wraps, and twisting some wire together in the mean time. got rush delivery on my 28g. So... !

Doug, you're fine, could be much worse! The first and last time my mother was given ambien, she punched a nurse and called me at three am rambling about staying out of the shadows (she thought she was trapped in a Doctor Who episode and the nurses were Vashta Nerada in spacesuits).

And last time I went online after I took some ambien, I posted something about how all the text ever put on the internet was animated. At least, I think that's what I meant... said post appears to be in English, but uses a sentence structure with which I'm not familiar. I try to avoid taking it these days, but on nights when I can't avoid it, I close the laptop and turn off my phone as soon it's down the hatch; otherwise I wake up with no memory whatsoever what kind of nonsense I posted while I was in an ambien fog. Insomnia sucks.

Yes indeed insomnia sucks. I haven't slept much at all this past month and I am barely functioning. I am shutting down now to hopefully get some sleep. Thanks for understanding! And goodnight Seanchai!! :D

my doc had a similar take on vaping. (though the first time he met me and told me to quit smoking, my reply was that it ain't gonna happen.) i still imagine that he thought i said i'd taken up bowling instead, cuz he was very approving-like. the staff even lets me go out for vape breaks when i'm waiting for my appts. :vapor:

have an appointment for an echo cardiogram tomorrow. now we get to find out if my heart has improved since he put the 2 stents in. i'm hoping to get a rough estimate on where i stand with disability, also. (which is cutting it all kinda close, i get my very last unemployment check tomorrow.) i guess it will also show if there's any improvement in my lungs, cuz the 1st question the guy who did it the last time asked was if i smoked. i thought it an odd question, so i asked why he posed the question. i can see it was his reply. that was my last week of smoking and i only had 3 cigs after that.

Good luck tomorrow. :) Yep, whether you smoke or not is *very* easy to see on almost any kind of scan or films. It's one of the first things I learned how to pick out when I was learning how to read chest X-rays/chest CTs/echos etc. (If I ever get back to college/med school, it'll be for pulmonology, and I've been studying heart/lung stuff since I was about five. Needless to say, I was fiendishly popular and had a vibrant social life as a child. Oh wait.... ;)) Anyway, it's hard to describe, but smoker vs. non-smoker is probably the easiest visual distinction to make, regardless of what other issues are afoot. Fortunately for us, most of the acute damage also tends to *resolve* quickly, as soon as you can get completely off the smokes. My films and scans will never look *normal*, but they also don't look like a smoker's anymore, even though the actual function will always be compromised (said function was compromised well before I smoked... smoking just made it worse. I've got spirometry later this month, and it'll be interesting to see where I'm sitting now).

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

That is corny and hilarious at the same time. I love it.

I confess, I stole that particular turn of phrase from Aaron Sorkin, one of the best screenwriters of all time (A Few Good Men, Charlie Wilson's War, The Social Network, The West Wing, Sports Night, The Newsroom, etc etc). I rarely thieve lines outright, cause it's a bad habit to have when you get paid to write - it's a matter of time before you can't remember what's yours and what's not - but that particular line is an exception to my self-imposed rule and has been in my lexicon ever since I heard it, cause there are so many days when I feel like it's applicable to me. :D

i really like West Wing. it's one of my top 5 shows. there are some awesome characters in it, esp CJ. i have it on dvd and watch it through, 2 or 3 times a year.

it was my favorite until NCIS. i like shows that don't appear to be comedies, but really are funny as hell. other than the Tony character getting old, it's great. esp Abby, most people think she's a goth playing a forensic scientist, when in fact, Pauly had a degree in forensics. Abby's back-story IS her back-story, so she's really a forensic scientist playing a goth! that, alone. is funny! Ducky and McGee are great too.

then came Leverage! i love that show! they built it around Parker, a thief with Asbergers! great character, plus Eliot and Hardison are too frickin' funny. the bickering slays me. so, Leverage is now numero uno!

Psyche is the only straight comedy i like, but that's funny cuz it's funny watching Dule Hill act his .... off. i mean he is Charlie, so seeing him do comedy is a riot! and Jules is a fox.

Nikita and Justified are pretty good too, as is Rizzoli and Isles. but Isles was Kate on NCIS.

the Masterpiece Theater's Sharpe series, as low budget as it was, gets watched a bit too.

oh, and just ignore sentence structure! ;)

I haven't read all the posts yet to see what replies you have gotten, but Butch, you've come to the RIGHT place! We may not be able to keep you from ordering too much stuff, but we'll sure do our darndest to make you feel good about it!! I think we've all been there at one time or another! Welcome to your new support group! :D

Ok, I'm fairly new to MBV, but that place is causing all kinds of problems. You see I ordered about 10 different flavors on my 1st order. I liked all of them. Now MBV is flying a black Friday banner. I'm trying to put an order togethr fo that, it's over $300 now & climbing. I've gotta cut somewhere, but my cuts just lead to adding more.

Do I need counseling?:blush::blush::ohmy::vapor:

+2 on the insomnia. I'm averaging 4-6 hours of sleep every 36. It really messes you up being sleep deprived. My doctor, whom I finally saw yesterday, gave me a script for something called Rozeram. It's like a stronger, prescription strength Melatonin. In 2 nights it hasn't worked yet. My mind just keeps on spinning, even when my body is exhausted. It used to be I would be up every night til 3 or 4am. Then it started to be sunrise and I'd still be up, every night. Then I started just staying up since it was daylight. Hence the 36hr. stretches between sleep now. It sux!

Good morning MBV :)

I had to visit Kelli's page just because :D :D

Mia, PM me when you have troubles like this. I wrap my coils for an RDA on a blunt syringe needle or a fat sewing needle (I got a pack of cheap needles at the 99 cent store). 32g can work...you would just need to drop your coil wraps to something like a 4/5 wrap (that's 4 wraps on one side of the coil and 5 on the other). I use 30g most often, but hopefully the 28g you have coming will do the trick for you. If you keep having trouble, feel free to ask me questions. I'll do what I can to help out :)

That MDV39 is a good guy for offering to send you some wire :toast:

Have a good day all. . . . .

Personally I wouldn't use anything under 30AWG unless the intent is an actual micro coil, there's no reason, especially startin' out, just sayin' ;)

You can build more traditional type coils using either 32 or 30 that will do a fantastic job. Get the basics down (learnin' curve) then shoot for the micro :)

LOOK! I DID IT! 4/5 wrap made me a 1.4 and a 1.7 wraps! My only issue is that my juice tastes so faint. Maybe because im not using a great coil. But, i proved i can make them! So once my 28g comes, hopefully i'll be a super reo vaper :p I'm sad though, because strawbshortcake dun taste good :/
