I'm soooooooooo far behind in the thread.. wanted to say hi.. newest order in.. on the bandwagon of cinnamon roll lovers now..my sample was again bubble gum.. not my fave but will vape it - requested that it be all VG but hoped for that sherbert thing in all VG.. oh well.
Had a couple of over night freezes here - a little early in the season for Florida - battening down the hatches with a booboo paw takes extra time and ingenuity so I've been a bit busy

rewicking my cotton in me reo takes 2 mins...I promise reworking reo is the easiest thing in the world.....I blew off cotton for so long now everything from my reps toe bods to protanks all run microcoils with cotton.

ive been able to recoil and rewick mine a bunch of times already fairly quickly. i'm just really dissatisfied with the juice flavor, or rather lack there of. im bad at squonking and it hurts my hands. the people in the reo thread said to use 28g and do microcoils. but then they stopped helping me. so im waiting on my 28 g still to come in the mail. *shrug* at this point, my protank+ego's taste heaps better...and cost me hundreds less.. :/

i may be the last regular in this thread that doesn't yet recoil or rewick. i just can't seem to get into it, cause my coil heads last me a month or more and they only cost like a dollar each. so pffft.... plus i am like the most unmechanically inclined person ever to walk the face of this planet.

mine only last like a few days to a week, which is why i looked into something easier, which turns out is just a big of a mess :/ i feel like i can't win with vaping..

Will be cleaning and dry burning about 30 coils tonight.....been way behind.....I only replace flavor wicks, don't recoil. They seem to last plenty long enough for me to get money's worth out of them. Spend enough money on juice and stuff....don't want to get into testers and wire and probably MISTAKES....besides I keep spending $$$ on hardware.....they gotta quit making new things:blink:
Just ordered a few more juices to hold me over till SALES show up.

Yeah, I can get 3 days to a week out of a coil, but if I push it to a week, even with cleaning/dry burning it is *very* much time to change the coil by that 6th or 7th day. If I could get even two weeks out of a coil, I doubt I'd be messing with rebuilding at all.

Hang in there, Mia. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

Hey, you're good. If my coils lasted me a month I wouldn't bother with recoiling either. You must not use gunky juices or power vape like I do. Mine last a couple days, or a few tanks, and they're done. So count yourself lucky ginger sis!! One less thing to worry about it!

well i only vape a max of about 3 ml a day, and that's from 3 different tanks. so i get good mileage. ;)

You aren't the last person in the thread who hasn't wrapped a coil. I've still yet to do that. I tried the other to do it without any magnification and well it didn't work. I still use my stock Smok heads 99% of the time. I use pre-made coils on my IGO-L mainly just for trying out new flavors, and to avoid putting flavors that need more steeping into a tank pre-maturely. I usually get anywhere from 2-6 weeks from my stock coils. With my DIY Tobacco which is quite dark I get a minimum of a week usually over 2. With most medium to lighter colored juices I'll get usually 4 weeks or better. I don't mess with the wicks or even bother cleaning them at all I use them till they start to not produce vapor so good or the flavor goes bad then put in new ones. I bough 5 packs from Discount Vapors which brought them down to around $1.40 each and I have like 60 something so I'm set for quite awhile. I think I've changed out 4 since around this time last month and I keep 5 tanks going all the time so I think that's pretty decent. I have been thinking about dropping down to 3 though I'm finding that lately I'm really only using 2-3 flavors during the course of the day.

I have 7 tanks going at once with different flavors( yea, I know--a little over the top). I think my coils last longer now cause I don't vape on one tank long enough for the coil to get too hot. Could be just vaping so many tanks makes it seem like the coils last longer. Do notice when I dryburn now there is less gunk on the coil. Another thought is I have no idea what I'm talking about.--Bo---:nah:
