Thanks Sam, :)
Yeah, we've got dish network w/a dvr. So I was just curious as to how much we would use it.
I'd be bringing it in on her Wii.
The only premium channels I take are the Encore channels. I've had most of the others at one time or another
and found that we didn't watch them enough to justify paying for them.
I know I could get a free trial, but I'm kinda funny about things like that.
Sometimes, free trials can be alot easier to start than to stop.

I wish I could figure out how to turn on cc on my set-up. I've tried, but couldn't get it to work....:(
'll tackle it again, one day right away, I guess.

some of us use cc as much as humanly possible. if i can't help you, maybe Seanchai can. where are you having the problem?

if you are using hdmi cables from your dvd to tv, you will only be able to use subtitles if they are on the disc. cc is an analog signal and hdmi is digital. Seanchai mentioned there might be a work around for that.

i tried watching a movie on my tv last night (netflix), i could make out the dialogue w/o subtitles. it's easy on my pc and some newer blu ray make it easier.

okie, thanks. the guy who did the review said they didn't have an ohm meter on them but the newer ones must, huh?

oh yes they do! i started getting 4 times the length out of my coils using vw and knowing exactly what voltage to use. i use voltage on peanut butter and tobaccos.

just use any wattage you like. try between 6 and 8 watts, maybe higher for warm vapes like peanut butter. if you use volts, check your ohms on your clearo using the meter, then try 2 volts above that number. if you have 2.2 ohm (for real.check it), try 4.2 volts.

i think you'll get the hang of it quickly. :thumb:

and i'll check out the Killing, thanks! ;)

Hmmm...I ain't no good at all that techie stuff. Ohms n all that..
I go by taste. I rarely like anything above 7w. Any higher, n it just tastes burnt.
As far a volts, it's 3.5 to 4.
The only thing I kno is crank it a little higher each time til it's too much n then back down...lol

My youngest is 15, soon to be 16. We enjoy alot of the same stuff.
But, I was very vigilant about what she was allowed to watch for a long time.
I don't think she watched much of anything but disney movies til she was going on 10.

Im pretty sure to get the watts the formula is volts times volts divided by ohms = watts.

so if youre vaping on 4.2 volts with a 1.8 ohm coil its is

4.2 times 4.2 divded by 1.8 = 9.8. which means youre vaping at about 10 watts.

ok, question. when i get my MVP2, how do i know what to set the wattage/voltage at so i don't burn out my coils. i use mostly 1.8 -2.2 ohm coils. i know nothing about electrical stuff, so i need some basic lessons i reckon. is it possible to set the w/v too high and do damage?

With that range of attys you could start at 3.7 V or if using VW set it to either 6.5 or 7W. You can move it up from there until it doesn't taste good.

That gives me a headache!!! I just move it up/down as needed by taste-burnt taste, go down a bit-not much taste or a bit blah, go up a bit

ok so i said a while back that i don't really love the box mods so much cause i think they are kinda fugly. but....

i found an innokin MVP2 kit on ebay for about $40 with free shipping, so i snagged on it. i like the idea of being able to vape for several days without a charge. and who knows, i might just fall in love with the thing. will let ya know.

I am the same way, but i have never seen one, only pictures, and it is hard for me to judge by pictures. Will be interesting to hear if you like or dislike when you get it!

Yeah!! It's kinda like the "trial n errror" method.
I know approximately where to start n just go from there, according to taste. :)

Exactly!! I have an SVD with the protank 2 and i use it in vv, just checked my atty its reading 2.1 so the vv is set on 3.3/3.4 and if i go up it starts tasting burnt after the 2nd/3rd draw. Even on my spinner and my twist i keep them around that range. I dont try to analyze it, i just vape it if it taste good

I run between 3.3 and 4.2 volts but I think it will also depend on the tank you are using. Definitely like the MVP 2. :)
