Yes, it's David Tennant, aka The Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who. That's a scene from "Fear Her" (Season 2) when he's in the TARDIS trying to engineer a gadget to detect a solution to the issue with the Isolus. (I'm aware that's nearly gibberish to all the non-Whovians... sorry!)

It doesn't even get a name in the episode because (spoilers) it shatters about 5 seconds after he assembles it... but when I was rewatching some Who in preparation for the big 50th anniversary celebrations, I realized that in that particular shot, he looks like he's holding a PV. The thought of a vaping Ten amused me.

There's a reason folks call some PV's sonic screwdrivers...

Well, my little issue with what to get has been set in stone now, I will only be getting my needed juices and a few batteries.

The seasonal position has become no position. The client pulled the plug on the whole project, so along with me there are 36 other people without a job as of today!!! The only possible bright spot is that the actual company, not the client informed me that they have me listed s being eligible for hire with them, but right now there have no positions open and I was told to call them next week!

Just lovely, right in the start of the holiday! I'm friggin not a happy camper so say the least, well actually I am extremely ...... off! :evil:

:ohmy::ohmy::evil::?:

Sambuca was nice enough to send me some of the tobaccos he didn't like and the Courmarin Pipe was one of them, I actually like that one. I like the Vanilla Tobacco also, was not impressed with the Chocolate tobacco one.

So far I am really liking American Tobacco, USA Tob, Virginia Fire Cured, and East Coast Tob. Jury is still out on Ankara I got to try it again soon after it's steeped a little more. I'm really glad I got 15mls of the flavors I've tried recently they take a LOT less time to steep than 50mls. I've also got way too much juice at this point to be ordering 50mls other than my favorite flavors when they run out or low. I probably will be ordering a 50ml or 2 sometime in the future of 1 or 2 of these tobaccos.
Now I'm vaping Butterscotch on a VV eGo that was born on 10/4, and it has gotten even more tasty than last time I had it. It just keeps getting better and better with age. I'm getting toward the bottom of a 50ml now and I sure am glad I have another that's full. (same date too :) )

PS- MBV Butterscotch goes great with coffee. Not mixed flavors but drinking coffee while vaping Butterscotch. :) :vapor:

talk about bad luck. a local 29 year old woman lost her 4 year old to leukemia 2 years ago, then her husband divorced her the year after, then her house got flattened by the tornado sunday. she wonders what she did to piss god off. :confused:

:shock: Yikes! now that is some extremely bad luck. I'd be thinking the same thing if I were her I think.

She is building a wonderful testimony...God has big plans for her.

Yes, me too. I actually felt worse for the woman that sits, well sat next to me in training class, she has 2 children and her husband took off without a word and she took the extra job to have money for the kids holidays.

I do hope that something breaks for a permanent position. I was informed by the COO of this office that only 3 of us were put on a list for being eligible to be hired for them, but they don't have anything open at this moment and I was pulled aside and told to call next week, but this means nothing unless something actually opens up, there was a sort of air about the conversation that led me to think that there may be something opening up soon, but with just about everything, I will believe it when I see it.

Sorry to hear about this, Dusty,

make sure you contact 3 of the other services so you cam claim this week. follow up early next week with these guys. i bet they'll take the one who wants to work first! at least you have some folks who know you can work. (maybe even a thank you note to the COO)

(am i the only idiot that that Seachai's av was him??? :facepalm:)

Yeah, well, I'm always a bit leary of seasonal position, those are disposable jobs to begin with. I hope something comes about with the actual company, but it's one of those will see and I will believe it when I see it scenarios.
