talk about bad luck. a local 29 year old woman lost her 4 year old to leukemia 2 years ago, then her husband divorced her the year after, then her house got flattened by the tornado sunday. she wonders what she did to piss god off.

Yeah, you know whenever you think you have it bad, like me losing the job, there is always someone out there in much worse shape and it's sad, we live in a country where their SHOULD NOT be conditions that quite a large number of people have to live through.

Damn that is terrible....why start a project and then pull the plug so fast?....you would like to tell them "think PEOPLE about other PEOPLE !!!!" Geez
Hope something comes up real soon !!!!

Well,I do know that there were some issues with the servers acting up, but there is also other aspect of the project as well that seemed a bit precarious as was witness by not only myself but the entire training class, the specific project client is based in California and they had sent 2 of their representatives down to observe and offer specifics on the project, however one of the Rep's who is actually a big shot in the clients company has well, let's just say not a pleasant type of personality and was constantly interrupting the training classes and even went as far as to tell the trainer she didn't like her tattoos and didn't want to see them, so the next day the trainer came it all covered up etc.

You know, I was thinking to myself earlier that I hoped someone didn't post something that would kinda set me off, well that post was made and by an individual that I have already had a issue with and when I saw a post in here by that individual yesterday I knew something derogatory had to happen and I was right! I however took it upon myself to not comment as bad as I really wanted to and it took all I could do from not posting a reply to this less then bright individual! Grrrrrrrrr... some people. This is just the type of person that gets under my skin and is the type that loves to stir things up.

Ok, enough of that, I'm going to take a chill pill before I go ballistic. lol jk...

Well, my little issue with what to get has been set in stone now, I will only be getting my needed juices and a few batteries.

The seasonal position has become no position. The client pulled the plug on the whole project, so along with me there are 36 other people without a job as of today!!! The only possible bright spot is that the actual company, not the client informed me that they have me listed s being eligible for hire with them, but right now there have no positions open and I was told to call them next week!

Just lovely, right in the start of the holiday! I'm friggin not a happy camper so say the least, well actually I am extremely ...... off!

WTH man that was lookin good for a bit there, not to worry something will come around soon, the world gets into a giving spirit around this time of year. hoping for the best for ya bud.

I was soaking my coils overnight in cheap vodka to clean them before a dry burn. Read somewhere on ECF to use denture cleansing tablets that foam up to clean coils. Maybe saw it on this thread. At any rate I tried it and it works very, very well. I fizzed a batch for 5 mins, washed them and gave them another quick fizz. Washed them and did a quick blow-dry. The coils and the wick were much cleaner, with the wick being a bright white. Dry burning was much quicker and the coils cleaned up nicely. They vaped like they were new, and the cleaning process was not only better but much quicker. (FYI).

There's already a wrap for the vv3 that'll make it look like Eleven's screwdriver (i.e. the above version). No Ten sonic wrap, sadly. I'd mod one of my sonic screwdriver replicas into a PV, but I don't think there's a way to do that safely, to be honest; too much plastic. What someone *could* do is make a metal sleeve, put all the PV electronics and batteries in there, etc, and then cannibalize a sonic for the light/sound effects/shiny bits. It's probably already been done.

I have no doubt that The Doctor himself could just vape directly off the sonic, of course; version irrelevant.
