Right behind me then, my five month is in a day or two. I never expected to quit completely, I just wanted to be able to smoke in my new car lol. Only took about three weeks to move from a Blu disposable to my eGo Twists and be done for good.

Go us! My car still smells like smoke when I turn the heat on.. Not Badbut I still smell it. I'm so glad I never smoked in my house. When I rented an apartment I smoked there, I realized my Pomeranian reeked like smoke. It made me really sad, so I never smoked in my house.

Why is Mt. Baker's unflavored nicotine solution so expensive? I wanted to go to them for their big bottle of 18mg juice but when I got to their site I realized it was 30 bucks. I got the same amount for 13 dollars else-ware. Anyone else notice this? I've never had MtBaker juice but I hear if you order the right flavors, some of them are really great. I've strayed away from them as of late but I wouldn't mind giving them a shot. But the unflavored nic base was a bit pricey compared to other sites.

I've smoked in every car before this one, and everyone always said my cars never smelled. I was either good about ventilating or my air freshener obsession paid off big time.

I figured I'd eventually smoke in it, prior to discovering vaping of course, so the leatherette seats and black headliner were big selling points, as leatherette doesn't soak in the smell as much and the black headliner hides the stains. Now I wish I had opted for the turbo with cloth seats.

I think the biggest hurdle is that he is in no way techy. I'm lucky he charges his phone. He just recently figured out email and Netflix within the past year, and aside from Craigslist, that's all he does online. I rotate him through my eGos and Spinners, he can't put one on a charger when he gets home, he waits until it's dead and tells me. I have an Evod designated for "his juice" now, that I have to check the level on once in a while. I left the bottle out, and on my way home get a frantic call from him saying he thinks he broke "the thingy." He tried filling it without taking the base off. By now you'd think he'd have seen me fill things enough to know the base screws off. But no.

So, basically unless I do all this for him, he's doomed. We shall see.

I have now converted (or in some cases, mostly converted) seven people from smoking to vaping. Here is how they've done so far... I promise this list will make you feel better.

My mother (age 60, vaping about 2 months): "My thingie is empty."
Me: "Bring it here, I'll fill it... you could do this, you know, it's not hard."
Mom: "I know, but it's technical. Did you order me some more batteries without the button? Those ones with the button are *stupid*."
Me: "I will on payday. What flavor do you want?"
Mom: "That one you were vaping three days ago."
Me:..... which one?
Mom: The one that smelled really good.
Me:.... that doesn't help me. Here, sniff the bottles."
(end scene)

My father (age 60, vaping 2 weeks): "Hey, that 100% VG stuff is good. How do you charge the battery again?"
Me: "You screw it into the charger, Dad."
Dad: "What charger?"
Me: "The one I gave you."
Dad: "Oh! Thanks. I've been using (stepmom's) battery all week cause I couldn't find a charger that fit."
Me: "Uh... dad?.... you realize I gave you guys functionally identical batteries with functionally identical chargers, right?"
Dad: "Oh.... :censored:.... sorry about that."
Me: No problem.
Dad: You'll get old too one day.
Me: I can only hope, yes.
(end scene - I would like to add that this is the man who taught me how to program things in BASIC, amongst his many other accomplishments.)

My best friend whom I've known since I was 12 (age 33, vaping for ~3 weeks): Hey, this vaping thing you're doing - I've got some batteries and some juice, but the juice I've got is a no go for me. Can you hook me up?
Me: Sure. Here's some clearos, and some more juice. Want to try my MVP2?
Him: "Holy :censored:! That :censored: hits like a train! I like! Where can I get one?!
(A week later)
Him: The guys at work are now calling my office "G's Bakery." I told them not to smart off to the boss."

My stepmom (age 55, vaping for ~2 weeks): Show me how to do this.
Me: Sure.
Stepmom: Okay, I think I got it. Show me one more time.
Me: As many times as you need.
(5 minutes later)
Stepmom: This is kind of awesome. Do they make (certain plant flavors)?
Me:.... Er... yes, actually.
Stepmom: Really? I'm about to relive my youth!

My grandfather (age 80, vaping ~2 weeks): So the liquid goes in here? Pass me that coffee. *puff, nose exhale, long draw, satisfied exhale with a *huge* cloud of vapor* Yeah, that's really nice.
Me:..... on your first try, too.
Grandpa: I've learned a few things.

Friend's daughter (27, vaping ~ 1 week): I can't get the liquid in the thing, it just dripped all over the table.
Me: Show me how you filled it.... that's the bottom. Pull the mouthpiece off, remember, just like I had you do the first time.... *there* you go.

Friend's son (30, vaping ~ 1 week): Man, I'm liking this vaping thing, but I need a little more *power* now, you know?
Me: Like this? *sticking a drip tip cover on the MVP and passing it over*
Friend's son: :censored:! Yeah! Where'd you get that?... and can I get a plain one or do they all say "police public call box" or whatever?
Me: You can get them here, and they come "plain."

In sum, everyone is different... but man, it's fun to convert people.

Hm. I Bought a 50ml unflavored 36mg. Its enough for me to make 300mls. I thought that was good lol. But I'm only dabbling.

Sadly, I missed all those days. My first computer was a Win 95 box, with a blazing fast Pentium 2 and 32MB RAM :) I'm amazed at what the older ones could do with 32KB RAM. But to my credit, I can still today set up a web server under Linux with less than 32MB RAM :)

My first computer was an 8088 with a whopping 10mb HD and at that time the fastest modem speed was 2400bps and was a DOS 3.0 based system and the only windows version that was out at that time was v3.0, I ran a BBS off that thing until they came out the the 486's.

Plumes, get on her level. This really is the lowest price-point for good sources. I wouldn't try and steal things that go in my body. YMMV.

JT is only circumventing the loophole of "I'll only buy nic base"...the man has costs.

Again, YMMV.

Also if he does only vape indoors at first he might grow to like it and eventually only vape. You just might convert him, might just take awhile. Oh and I left one out East Coast Tobacco is another that I like a lot. I need to re-coil my IGO and give Ankara Tobacco another try too it should be steeped now.

My wife and her friend really like the ECT. It tastes ok to me but I'm not a tobacco guy.
I think the USA tastes pretty good but the Hangsen RY1 from RTS Vapes tastes like a real cigarette.
I have new friends that have customers that love both the USA and RY1 and want a steady source.
Yay me :)

I don't react well to certain vendors bases/nic/who knows what, so I bought my diy from mbv because I knew Id be ok with it. Can any of you diyers confirm or deny if there is sweetener in mbv flavorings? Imma test my diy in a REO tomorrow to see if I'm just crazy Or maybe their sweetener and my cotton don't like each other.

Someone has to put up with his crazy doggy self. May as well be me! Lol he's actually extremely loving for the crap first part of his life. Rescues, they just know. He's not perfect, but he thinks he is.

Lolol, those were all great!

Trouble is just that you have to WANT it, I'm hoping I'll find the right combination for him. I've never pushed him, just offered and made it available. Improvements have been made, hope is alive, but I try not to be overly optimistic for now. As long as the government doesn't crack down big time, vaping is going to get HUGE in the next few years. I feel like every month I see twice as many vapers as I did the month before. Once it becomes a little more "normal" I may have better luck with him.

Loved all the dog pics btw, even though it made me miss my goofy boys. First service dog I had from age 4-15, he was rescued by the service dog agency and was the smartest, gentlest, most amazing dog I've ever known.

Second service dog was from 17-29, and was almost the polar opposite... massive, exuberant, would forget to finish pooping if he saw a butterfly, but smart enough to open a door if I had fallen behind it, and saved me from being attacked on my college campus. (It was pitch black, I was heading from a party back to my dorm - dry campus, so no inebriation involved - and he heard footsteps behind me and planted himself behind my back wheels, growling and practically foaming at the mouth. We'd only been together about a month, so I wasn't sure if there was actually some danger or if he was just spooked, but I decided to hall :censored: back to the dorm anyway. We got two locked steel doors between us, I toweled the sweat off him and got him calmed down, and we went to bed. Woke up to newspapers saying that a known mugger with a knife had been caught on campus about three feet from where I'd been standing when my furry partner started going nuts. They caught the guy because campus security heard my normally sweet doofus snarling and growling and decided to go check things out.)

Miss them both like crazy. Dogs are the best.

Oh, and congrats on the vapeversaries!

I have many problems. First time using rbas. I've got some good 1.4 microish coils happening, good vapor, moderate flavor. It got better when I did better coils. I'm using as little boiled cotton as I think is ok. Most juices are ok. Mbvs, isn't :( they all Taste like a slight hint of the juice flavor and then sweet cotton taste. Same build, same ohms, different rm2 and REO, different juice and it tastes great. So stone mentioned it may be the sweetener? I dunno. I'm definitely super sensitive to stuff it seems. I have some rolled cotton from a reonaut who had issues with tasting the cotton as well, to try.

Well, I was born before the personal computer....*sigh*

EDIT: Monster is very cute, and I bet he's a character

I was finally able to get one on ya stone ;)
