I don't have a question as such and I'm not suggesting there isn't a willingness to help. However as I've used mtbv a few times and am generally interested in others experience with them or even be able to assist through my experience with them.
I'm just asking for some limited consideration to those of us coming to this thread who are not interested the random banter that seems to have taken over. Granted is not this thread only that it happens but I do in here every few days or so going to see new content but it's often the same with rarely any discussion on mtbv.

Re the ignored part, I don't think it's intentional but the posts are just getting swamped by the good night John boy, luv you mary and the general use of public rest rooms type posts.
Again not suggesting is intended just making you aware of it. What happens with the feedback is up to those who read it.

Denmonkey, just curious, are you posting this on *every* liquid vendor's thread? Cause I've seen plenty of the same stuff that goes on here in the thread of every vendor with a decent sized fan base. There have been several people who have popped in and asked a question or popped in just to make a comment about juice just tonight. They've all been promptly answered as far as I saw.

Perhaps this thread is particularly prone to "chit chat" as MBV carries a staggering array of juices and options - there's not even half a dozen flavors we can all rally behind and champion. If you picked ten random "regulars" in this thread, I doubt you could find even *one* juice with the exact same makeup in the stash of more than two of us.

That being the case - everyone vaping different flavors, different PG/VG ratios, different nic strengths, flavor shots/no flavor shots etc, we tend to veer off topic. If you want juice talk, then by all means, start talking - we'll follow you.

As this is a general Mt. Baker thread and is not an Official Support Thread there is nothing wrong with people posting and saying hello, goodnight, how you doing John Boy, Jim, Mary etc, etc. If you have a specific question everyone here is more then willing to offer advise and assistance to the best of their ability and knowledge base. If there are specifics that you need in relation to the business aspect, there is an Official Support thread for that as well.

There are many other vendor threads that are not official support threads and are for general discussion and banter, for example the Discount Vapors Fun thread but they also have a Support section as well.

There is also a function for searching, if you are looking for something specific, the search function is your friend! Again, if you are looking for advice, questions about anything that you would like to know that us as customers of and supporters of MBV that you would like to know, then by all means ask and we will be more then happy to help in anyway we can.

Your assertion that there is rarely any discussion on MBV is wholly incorrect, however again this is a general discussion thread and as such there are going to large portions of times when there really isn't much to discuss each and every minute on specific aspects of MBV, we are sort of a family in here are always welcome new people to come participate. Perhaps you are thinking this is the Support Thread which it is not, but we do quite often discuss MBV subjects, however it's not something that can be maintained 24/7 which for all intents and purposes is a good thing, due to the fact that quite a few discussions could mean issues or something similar in nature and frankly for the most part we have very few issues with MBV there are times when things happen and you can rest assured we are a vocal bunch and have no problem asking questions and on occasion we may have some gripes that we just need to vent about etc.

And yes, there are days were we get very chatty, but again this is due to the fact that we get to know each other and support each other in whatever way we can. I say this once more, this is a place for us that have a common interest at heart and yes we do stray from have every single topic being totally based on MBV itself, but this doesn't mean there is not a wealth of good information to be had on here and again, if you are looking for something specific, how about asking, this is a good way to pick the brains of the members here that know a heck of a lot about MBV and once again there is the search option.

You state that you asking for limited consideration, would it not be more prudent and wise to seek out that in which you wish to know instead of making assertions that this information is not readily available by the asking or searching.

How are we to know what your interest are if you do not make them known? If you are interested in the experiences, again, just ask and you will get an answer. There needs to be a general overall interest in the people associate with or liking of MBV and yes, there is not always issues or problems that need to be discussed, so we do talk about other subjects.

I have yet to meet any person in this group that would not take the shirt off their back to help someone out in anyway they could and I could give you specifics if needed, I will tell you this, the people in this thread are some of the most caring, generous people I have ever met in one online place and I ran a board for 10 years. They have helped me in many ways and I came in this thread as a newbie and never once did I think that I was in anyway compelled or pressured into just having to discuss a generic problem, they welcomed me with open arms and gave me answers to my questions and they can only help if they know what the issue or questions are.

Once again, if there is something you wish to know, Ask!

Thanks for that, Dusty. I was hoping someone else might chime in with the novel length explanation, since I've got quite enough of those to my name for tonight. ;) Well put, every word. Including and especially that we're more than happy to help anyone who wanders by!

How are you liking Vanilla Tobacco, btw? That one's been on my "considering" list for quite a while.

No problem at all. :)

I actually like the Vanilla Tobacco, however I do need to state that I really don't taste tobacco or real vanilla that I consider those 2 flavors to be like I can't really even describe the flavor, I think some might say it's a bit perfumy, not in a bad way though, it kinda really grew on me, I have been trying to think of what it taste like but don't have a point of reference to give a concise description of it. It's just for me a good change of pace and it's mellow. I know this doesn't help at all! It's a little sweet not overbearing and has a light TH and good vapor, it's one of those juices that I would always want on hand for a change of pace. Sorry I could be of more help on it.

I have to state though I was never a big tobacco flavor person, meaning that I didn't try a bunch of different tobacco types with regular cigarettes and only limited experience with cigars. So it may well be similar to what Vanilla Tobacco is supposed to taste like.

Actually, that helps quite a lot. It sounds something like a very high end vanilla cigar that a musician friend of mine liked to light up after a particularly good pub gig. I wasn't smoking at the time, so I never had a puff, but it smelled very similar to what you're describing. I'll have to check it out. Probably not this order, cause groceries squeezed my juice budget more than I was planning on, but I'll stick it on my wishlist now so I remember come December. Thanks!

You're more then welcome, glad I helped even though I didn't that it would be of any use. :)

The other issue is that it can be hard for me to describe some flavors due to the major issue I have with my sinuses and this is also another reason I like my juices with a high flavor shot content. I can't only breath about 10% out of my left nostril due to having had orbital bone fracture that was never repaired, my right nostril is ok but this does affect my sense of taste to a large degree on lighter flavors.

No Sean, I'm not but you are correct in that it does appear to be a common occurrence across several 'vendor' threads.
Again, I have no doubts about the genuine nature of the members in the forum as a whole and I'm not suggesting those taking part in this particular thread are any different.

I was just trying to raise an awareness of how this can impact on a relatively new member on the forums who are trying to trawl the forums for information.
Some of whom may find it difficult to ask questions but are just looking to read up on a particular topic or subject.
For example when I first search for this vendor and then spotted this thread which such a great number of responses , I thought 'you beauty' this is going to keep me going for a long time just reading and gathering info from all these responses.
However with the limited time I have to visit the forum and grab what Info I can and run, Unfortunately the reality of it is that I spend more time skipping through pages trying to find something that relates to the threads topic than actually reading anything relevant.

Hi Dusty,

that's a mighty big response there.

Hopefully my response above to Sean allows you to see where I'm coming from and you can understand that there is not an ounce of malice in my sharing of my opinion, nor towards those participating in this thread.

With reference to asking or searching, and to assist you to see where my query came from,
do a search for 'mt baker' and you will see this thread tops the list due to the sheer number of replies.
Other threads listed may have a post or 2 mentioning the vendor or at best there may be a single thread or inquiry with a couple of pages on the subject.
Additionally, I'd encourage you to go 10 pages back and take in the conversations and discussions over those pages with an open mind and see where I'm coming from.

I do genuinely appreciate your offer to assist me with any questions I may have and I thank you for that.

Denrock - thanks for the suggestions. I've been checking out the other threads also.

Thanks to each of you who have taken the time to respond and entered into a discussion around my post.
I was fearful of an all out flaming and am pleasantly surprised that the responses have been level headed and polite in their delivery.

We don't flame as all are welcome here...we have alot of fun...and we DO talk about MBV juice...some of the best reviews of their juice I have seen appear in this very thread.....just a pain searching thousands of pages for them. If you ever want to know about specific juices...just ask and someone here (probably several someone's) will happily respond!! Cheers! :toast:

Didn't this used to be the mtbv thread?
I've been through about the last 10 pages and when there is a mention of mtbv it seems to be ignored for personal chit chat. I know this might be going against the grain and I'm sure you're all regs from reading a little of it but can some consideration be given to those of us who come to this thread looking for the info suggested to us by the thread title.
I don't find it helpful to have to go through pages and pages of unrelated conversion to find the odd post which is relevant.
Please don't take offence but perhaps those involved hadnt raised the impact it may have on others looking for info.

I was a little taken aback by the amount of chatter here when I first started hunting for information, too.

Then I learned that this particular crew has an unusual attitude compared to many forums - just ask your question, and you'll have a bunch of folks coming out of the woodwork to answer you.

Yup. On the bright side, I'm a human barometer! :p

If I were independently wealthy, I would put that on a billboard in every city in the country. The number of times people have tried to "help" without asking first, and ended up knocking me over/dumping me out of my chair... yikes.

I don't mind help (though, like you, I'll ask if help is truly necessary), but *unexpected* and *unannounced* help is *dangerous*. Ask first. I won't bite. I *will* appreciate the offer, even if I decline it. But I *won't* appreciate it if you leap in front of me without saying a word to do something I have completely handled, and in doing so, you accidentally cause me severe injury.

As someone who spent about two years using a cane because my right knee was so painful that I could barely walk (and lemme tell you, I got *really* good at sticking that cane into a bus door when the driver didn't want to kneel the bus so I could get on, and expert and getting the train conductor to make sure I could actually get off the train before it started moving again), and someone who deals with one of those fun sets of invisible medical challenges, I ask if someone needs a hand. I just try not to get upset when they occasionally snap at me for asking - because I know how easy it is to assume that someone thinks you can't do something.

Then again, I also offer elderly folks my seat on the bus.

I was raised in a world where offering assistance to someone who is struggling with packages, or straining to reach a door, or looking unstable on their feet was common courtesy.
