You're most welcome! :D

Oh, on topic, I'm vaping Vanilla tobacco... :p

How do you like it? I'm still steeping my bottle - was tempted to try it yesterday, but it's only a month old...

Edited to add: Never mind, Dusty - caught your description after I posted this. Thanks!

No Sean, I'm not but you are correct in that it does appear to be a common occurrence across several 'vendor' threads.
Again, I have no doubts about the genuine nature of the members in the forum as a whole and I'm not suggesting those taking part in this particular thread are any different.

I was just trying to raise an awareness of how this can impact on a relatively new member on the forums who are trying to trawl the forums for information.
Some of whom may find it difficult to ask questions but are just looking to read up on a particular topic or subject.
For example when I first search for this vendor and then spotted this thread which such a great number of responses , I thought 'you beauty' this is going to keep me going for a long time just reading and gathering info from all these responses.
However with the limited time I have to visit the forum and grab what Info I can and run, Unfortunately the reality of it is that I spend more time skipping through pages trying to find something that relates to the threads topic than actually reading anything relevant.

Hi Dusty,

that's a mighty big response there.

Hopefully my response above to Sean allows you to see where I'm coming from and you can understand that there is not an ounce of malice in my sharing of my opinion, nor towards those participating in this thread.

With reference to asking or searching, and to assist you to see where my query came from,
do a search for 'mt baker' and you will see this thread tops the list due to the sheer number of replies.
Other threads listed may have a post or 2 mentioning the vendor or at best there may be a single thread or inquiry with a couple of pages on the subject.
Additionally, I'd encourage you to go 10 pages back and take in the conversations and discussions over those pages with an open mind and see where I'm coming from.

I do genuinely appreciate your offer to assist me with any questions I may have and I thank you for that.

Denrock - thanks for the suggestions. I've been checking out the other threads also.

Thanks to each of you who have taken the time to respond and entered into a discussion around my post.
I was fearful of an all out flaming and am pleasantly surprised that the responses have been level headed and polite in their delivery.

I can to a certain extent understand what you are stating however I was not implying that you do a search for "Mt. Baker" or any other form of the name, doing that type of search is not going to serve anyone well as it is to generic and is going to bring up a great many results. Again, the fact of the matter is that there is the support thread, this is a discussion thread but also a gathering place for all the Mount Baker Vapor fans and as such we have a common interest and find that we have a lot of other things in common. There is a wealth of information on here and yes, it may seem as though that information can be tedious to get too but it's there. Again the best way to find information anywhere is to ask a question.

We were all new here at some point and I know for me, if all this thread was, was nothing but information about juice there wouldn't be a lot of involvement or interaction between between people and it wouldn't be all that active either. Most of these things can be found out in either the Support Thread or Mt. Baker's website to begin with, but here we sometimes we go in-depth on a subject, but that will only carry you so far, again this is much more then just a thread to get information, it's an interaction thread and would be pretty darn boring if all we did was say, well, this just is 50/50, 18mg, 2 shots, age for 2 weeks cya. Again, it's a general discussion thread so yes we tend to go off and take side roads and sometimes that takes us to never, never land, but we always sooner or later find our way back. There are other threads that cover reviews, support etc and it's nice to have somewhere to shoot the chit with others that have a common interest, I know for me if it wasn't for this fact I would maybe have posted in here 10 times as there would really not be much to keep you coming back without any real interaction.

So even though we go off the deep end at times, it's just simply a matter of asking for what it is you seek to know. Everyone situation is different and there is not such thing as a one size fits all when it comes to juices, hardware etc.

Yup. On the bright side, I'm a human barometer! :p

If I were independently wealthy, I would put that on a billboard in every city in the country. The number of times people have tried to "help" without asking first, and ended up knocking me over/dumping me out of my chair... yikes.

I don't mind help (though, like you, I'll ask if help is truly necessary), but *unexpected* and *unannounced* help is *dangerous*. Ask first. I won't bite. I *will* appreciate the offer, even if I decline it. But I *won't* appreciate it if you leap in front of me without saying a word to do something I have completely handled, and in doing so, you accidentally cause me severe injury.

Guilty. But, typically with the elderly. If an 85 year old woman with a walker is coming, I'll go out of my way to make sure the door is opened for her or give her a hand with her bag or something. If a younger person seems to be handling themself just fine, they're good. Of course I'd help anyone who appears to be struggling regardless of age or perceivable handicap. I've been on the receiving side myself, typically at IKEA while trying to maneuver those heavy boxes lol.

I'm not quite sure why I get such a kick out of folks in this thread remembering pretty much what gear all the regulars use. But it's pretty durn cool.

That's the thing about this thread that I like so much, people seem to take a real interest in each other in some form or another. It's easy to find places were people can remember your name, hair color etc and could care-a-less about an individual, this is not something I have seen in here, this is also what makes each of these people so great and set themselves apart from the rest! :toast:

I was a little taken aback by the amount of chatter here when I first started hunting for information, too.

Then I learned that this particular crew has an unusual attitude compared to many forums - just ask your question, and you'll have a bunch of folks coming out of the woodwork to answer you.

Hmmmm, when you put it that way, it kinda makes me scared, like walking along and all of a sudden on no "Wrong Turn - 1,2,3,4,5" a bunch of inbred cannibals come running at ya! Oh, wait, wrong place. That was the Sci-Fi channel a few weeks back. Never-mind.

funny. whenever someone asks about a juice/mbv, there's like 5 responses on opinions within 5 minutes. That's alot better response than some other threads i've read/asked questions.

vaping some blue moo and wc mixture in my Reo!!

Oh hell yeah, there were a few threads I had asked a question in and still never got an answer!

Or an attitude with a side of "you can exit now"

Yeah, I've seen that as well. Actually I had seen a thread where someone asked a question something along the lines of "Why is it when someone asks a specific Question" It was pertaining to and I have witnessed this many times, a person comes in an states that I am looking for some advice on an PV, but I only have under $100.00 to spend what is a good PV to get. Well that thread immediate got all kinds of responses other then what the person was actually asking, that to me is rude, they made a big joke out of it and it's now about 28 pages long and I think there was only 5 or so replies to the question being asked.

I see it happens often when someone specifically states, I do not or cannot spend over $100.00 and you can be someone is going to go in and tell them "Get a Provari" w..t....h, things like that really aggravate me. You can't even get a used one for under $100 bucks. Big help to the person asking the question.

On topic, still vaping Strawberry and WC... :D
