I vape lots of tank crackers, but even if I didn't, the above is exactly why the vast majority of my tanks are pyrex or glass. (I do keep two little .9ml clearos around for when I'm not sure how much I like a flavor yet, but I don't want to mess with dripping for a few hours while I figure it out.... but that's all they're used for.) For me, it's worth paying a few bucks more per tank in exchange for the peace of mind and not having to remember what could crack a tank. I get that people who've been
vaping longer probably have a lot of plastic tanks sitting around, though - if that were the case for me, I'd be using them too.
Visionx, not to pile on, but there's usually a difference between someone asking "will X crack my tank?" vs someone asking "Has anyone vaped X in a Y setup, and if so, did it crack your tank?"
The answer to the first question is pretty general ("Maybe, maybe not, depends on your tank and how long you vape that flavor in it, the list of potential crackers is here") but the second question is very specific, and usually comes from veterans who want personal anecdotes about a *specific* flavor in a *specific* tank, because they know that tank cracking can depend on the particular flavor *and* the tank you're using.
