Morning, Bakerites.
I think my spirometry lab must be under some sort of ancient Aesclepian curse. Went down there today (a good hour one way), got there early, all paperwork in order (I always do it ahead whenever possible - accordingly, medical staff tend to love me), etc etc etc... was in and registered within three minutes, half an hour early. Whereupon I sat and waited for 2 1/2 hours. Eventually had to leave in order for my ride to get back to work in time.
So, waste of time and gas there... I'll take another stab after payday. It's the only dept of that hospital so far that doesn't seem to have their stuff together, so I can't complain.
Dripped some 555 this morning and it's already so good that I couldn't resist loading up about half a tank for the drive back... I'll keep my mitts off the rest for another month or so, but Butch is right, it's good stuff.
And after an early morning full of cold and rain, my next order of business is getting warm, followed by a nap, followed by some writing, if the gods of inspiration choose to favor me for more than a minute or two. If not, there's a pile of editing work to be done, which isn't nearly as much fun but pays marginally better than the fun parts.
I'll probably be in and out of here as usual, just wanted to check in.
