it was born on black Friday.. guess I'll give it another week (after I finish off this tank) and see if anything changes

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that. :D I always drip first, and sometimes I *know* it's not ready but I can't resist loading up a tank anyway... and *then* I put it away again.

Hope it comes around for you, I've been thinking about trying it but I'm waiting on your final verdict first!

Thanks for the responses. We have only been ordering from MBV for a couple of months, but we have been REALLY happy with what we have gotten from them. I MADE my daughter go to the site and look over their juices for the BF order - I was getting tired of trying to guess what she might like, although she does like most of what I chose for her - and she decided on Hawk Sauce for one of her flavors. Something I never would have ordered for her, she was never a fan of menthol analogs. Wonder of wonders, she tried it out of the mailbox, and liked it. Not an ADV for her, but she likes it. I can always smell it when she loads a carto. I am waiting to try the Thug juice I got for myself - I am just finishing up the Cool Runnings I got as a sample in the order I placed before BF, and I think menthol on top of the mint I am getting from the Cool Runnings might be too much, one right after the other. Helps my sinuses, though. I am so glad that I found ECF and MBV.

Has anyone tried the shake vapes? Thoughts?
Looked at the cookies and cream shake as well as just the cookie version. I love Oreos but just can't believe that it could exist in a vape.

Boom Choco Latte is pretty darn tasty, although I still get bananas and chocolate out of it instead of a chocolate and coffee shake... but that could be my tastebuds.

Haven't tried any cookie vapes yet, but I know another vendor nailed Oreos, according to most who tried it... it was limited edition so it's no longer available. It appears to be possible, anyway. I just can't speak to how authentic MBV's version(s) are. :)

I am not sure what flavor profile my daughter gets from Boom Choco Latte, but she really likes it. I have the Chocolate Frost, and like it, but it messes with my cartos. We are still using cigalikes. They have been working for us so far. We both quit analogs about 7-8 years ago. When the urge to smoke got too bad a couple of years ago, my daughter did some research, and found ecigs. We have not looked back. Ecigs are keeping us from going back to smokiing analogs. We started using Blus, and when we started having problems with the prefilled cartos from Blu switched to Vapor9 cigalikes. We get the blank cartos from either Vapor9 or Revolution Vapor (Revolution Vapor are cheaper), and just fill them with juice. I am planning to order the Katana kits for each of us from Vape Dojo to see if we like them, but they may have to wait till after New Years. The house we are renting is up for sale, and we are really tired of the nonsense from the realty company handling the sale and our rental, so as soon as my SS payment hits this month we are seriously starting to look for a new place. I like the Chocolate Frost, but do not like having to replace the cartos constantly. I am hoping that the Katana kits with replaceable coils will help with some of the juices that we really like and enjoy. I have been researching on ECF, and think that a system with bottom coil clearomizers like Kanger will help us get the full potential out of some of the juices that mess with the cartos we are now using.

its been steeping for almost 2 weeks now. 24hour with out caps and dripper and then another 24 hour with only the dripper. now i just shake them everyday.

Menthols tend to be really harsh when they're not steeped enough. Extra shots or bigger bottles will also take longer to steep. If none of those are applicable, check back later in the day and someone who vapes menthols more often than I do might be able to give you a more specific estimation of what's going on and how much longer it might take to mellow out. I can't vape many menthols, so my experience is limited to just a couple, neither of which happen to be Thug Juice. :)

Nothing wrong with cigalikes, whatever works to keep you off analogs is a great option. I started with 808 cigalikes from Halo and went to an MVP 2 box mod after about a month and a half, but my mom's still using 808s quite happily. (Our situation is similar to yours, my sister and I are 29 and 32 respectively, but we live at home and share the bills.)

I really like bottom coil tanks and clearos, they're a lot less hassle for me than cartos were, and they certainly last far longer than cartos do. Mom likes the halo/smokeless image mini tanks.

And I hear you on having the house you're renting up for sale and all the nonsense the realty company puts you through... we went through that a couple years ago. It eventually worked out for the best; was hard to leave the house we used to *own* and had lived in for 23 years, but the place we're in now is more practical, and we have a much better landlord here than the guy who bought the house out from under us and then sold it out from under us again. Best of luck finding a new place; I hope things go as well for you and your family as they ultimately did for mine.

Glad to hear that you like Chocolate Frost. That's one of many juices on my "to try" list.

Oh, and welcome to ECF and the MBV thread! :)

I don't vape tobaccos enough to be able to answer your question, but I'm sure someone here can. If no one pipes up within the next hour or so, check back in the morning, when the MBV tobacco aficionados tend to be around in greater numbers. :)

You make us sound so... predictable.

Just for that, I shall a) post in the morning and b) vape coumarin pipe.

<checks time and rereads>

I think I'll go shake my vanilla tobacco, erm, orange dream bar! now.

Oh, and re: Ankara? Mine is still steeping, unfortunately. I like turkish tobaccos, and am hoping the Ankara will work out. I either adore or really dislike MBV's tobaccos - but the ones I haven't cared for initially have come around after a looooooong steep time.

I'm still hoping for the 555 to turn the corner.

 I've given up predicting anyone as individuals, but the collective hive mind of the thread is usually pretty predictable when it comes to answering questions quickly and thoroughly... and that's a good thing!

I hope it does for you. I was nervous about taking the tobacco plunge on MBV because I'm not wild about tobaccos to start with and the reviews of them on the site seemed so very polarized - but having finally tried one, I suspect that the polarization of the tobaccos in particular is because everyone has a slightly different idea of what makes a good tobacco. There's a reason that cigar smokers get into heated and lengthy discussions over the nuances of cigars, after all!

Mornin' MBV folks.:vapor:

I hope it's kosher to bask this kind of question in here, but apologies if it isn't....

I really REALLY like two particular Turkish blends from two other juice vendors. Casablanca from backwoodsbrew and Desert Gold from ecblend. Does Mt. Baker have anything similar? I ordered their Ankara but, since I did the three extra flavor shots, I really dislike it at the moment. I can't tell what it'll be like once it mellows out and steeps.

Casablanca is one of only two that I have used daily almost since I started vaping, the other is also a BWB juice. After saying that, I have never found another juice that is even similar to it.
Although I have not tried the Ankara, I have a suspicion that a very long steep, 6 weeks or more would produce a very vapeable flavor. It is one that I plan on trying on my next MBV order.

the best Turkish, which is also the best tobacco, that i have tried, is Yaeliq's Turkish tobacco. i got it with one extra shot. if i ever get it again, i will get two shots.

oh, he's in Israel, and it is kosher! :D
